iPhone 6 s massive battery drain iOS 9.3.2

After upgrading my iPhone iOS 9.3.2,and 6s I feel huge battery drain. Day before the update, my battery was normal. Usually I lose 30% of 08:00 to 14:00.

Now, after unplugging for 5 minutes, I'm 95% after 3 hours 59% etc.

I tried to set up as new iPhone, installed the new OS with iTunes, but no change.

Off location, off automatic backlight, the signal of the complete network.

What should do? It is obviously a huge problem, because I can't rely on my phone.

I've updated my 6 Plus and have not noticed any radical change on the battery life, good or bad. What you have all services like location, mobile data, updating in the background app, Bluetooth, etc. put on the market and it is what causes the battery?

  • Bug: FastDormancy server maintaining phone awake at all times. Massive battery drain. 32.1.A.1.163/185

Comments to the devs and general FYI for other users.

It seems that the release of Marshmallow to Z5 (compact in my case) has seen the reintroduction of old days of jelly bean bug.

If the network does NOT support fast dormancy, then phone with her forecefully enabled in the firmware will suffer horrible when battery drain the 3 G. Seen for the first time this compact Z1 a couple of years back, and only "Difficulty" at the time was root + change of the file system. Sony has finally fixed. Hoping that it will not take long this time, else this phone becomes useless due to a range of 8 to 10 hours in standby mode.

Can see in the pictures below the phone sleeps perfectly on a Wi - FI connection, but as soon as 3G is involved the tanks of battery.

WLD confirms quick dormancy as the culprit. Do not have this problem on Lollipop.

  • After switching to macOS Sierra MacBook Pro MASSIVE battery drain

I have a MacBook Pro of the retina (end 2012) now under macOS Sierra and my battery is to be wiped out at a crazy pace of knots.

I used to be able to go out with my MBP without a power cord and have at least 6-7 hours of use and I run Parallels desktop as well, so when I went out Saturday and got less than 2 hours, I was just a little worried.

I've done just about everything which has been mentioned in conjunction with this issue, including, starting in safemode, NV and PR RAM reset, reset the hardware controller etc, etc nothing works.

Someone at - it any other suggestions, or is this just a waiting game for an update of Apple's Sierra?

Expect indexing to complete.  Then see if it goes back to normal.

  • Massive battery drain and plenty of RAM consumed by com.sonymobile.intelligent.iengine app

    Hi guys,.

After a long time ago, I write this. There are a lot of RAM consumption and use of the battery with the com.sonymobile.intelligent.iengine app. I have attached a print screen for your reference. and my question is how to avoid this and y at - it problems with performance or face losing if I stop this app?

Finally, for what this app (com.sonymobile.intelligent.iengine) belongs to and what are the functions it supports?

It might be a part of the screen smart rotation app... phone finds with front cam which position your face and decides to turn the screen sideways like gyroscope is designed. I don't know but I have all things smart in market, fair, not to mention intelligent rotation and I have this process showed in my phone, so I guess that's not intelligent backlight control or collect smart calling without slipping the green bar. See if you have the smart rotation enabled in the advanced settings screen.

2 days in my Z2 is normal... If I didn't panic at 35%, I could easily continue for 3 days and 4 hours free of charge, but I talk a lot and I try never to go to work with phone less than 60% of the fees.

Restore from a backup or news?  Try restoring as a new phone and see if the battery still drains quickly.

  • Battery drains faster than normal after restoring iOS on iPhone 9.2 6 Plus.

Hello everyone. Yesterday, I restored my iPhone with iOS 9.2 6 Plus using the latest version of iTunes. In every 1 minutes 4.7% of battery drains while watching a video offline.

I have reset all settings, updated all my apps from the App Store and the battery drains fast continues. Can anyone fix or wait for the next update?

    Backup of your device

Factory restore, set up as NEW.  Registration to iCloud will get your contacts, calendars, reminders and notes (other services, such as Gmail, Outlook, yahoo would be probably similar).

Is there something in the system restore which is to drain your battery.

Restore the minimum of your applications and test.  If all else fails, you can always restore back to the top again.

  • Why my iphone 6 becomes hot and drains the battery faster after updating ios 9.2?

After upgrading my iphone 6 the new 9.2 IOS recently, I experienced some problems about heating problems and deplete the battery faster.

Can someone please look at my post and help me?

I have the same problem. Immediately after the update of this week my iPhone 6 has started to go crazy - overheating until it was rude to hold and the battery drains completely in the course of an hour or two. Problem continued for two days now. I tried a reset (holding down power and front button) and I thought that this had contributed, but as soon as I used any application the phone started its tumble again. Probably overheating is caused by the CPU to do something, but I can't say what. This doesn't seem to be a problem with a specific application - any activity seems to he left. It was working perfectly normally until the 9.2 update.

  • iOS 10.0.2 battery drain

guys, I'm using iphone 5 s for 2 years. my battery life is good. If I SLEEP at night and wake up my phone just reduce by 2-4%... since I updated ios 10.0.2 my battery draining fast. nearly 60% increased after more... Battery all day draining even if I don't use anything. If I turned off my cell data also gives me same result.

I use ios 10.0.1 before still going strong with no problems of drainage. Can someone give me a solution...

    Your help is very appreciated.

Try the settings > battery to see what is using that a lot of the battery.  Maybe it's something you can disable when not in service.
