  Try opening the iPhone before connecting to Windows. If the film is not empty, then the device should be listed in Windows Explorer.   3. Locate Bus USB Controllers > Apple Mobile Device USB Driver.

  4. Right-click and select software update of the driver...
  5. Click Browse my computer for driver software
  6. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers or
     C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
  7. Click on let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer

Today, Seagate 750 disk arrived, so I installed as a storage drive (to make backups to avoid another disaster). The BIOS reports as the 3rd disc, ST3750630AS and SMART spent testing.  But it does not appear on my computer (so that I can format it, if necessary.)  When I installed Nero Backitup 4, you can also see the drive, but there are no partitions.

  Issues related to the:

  1. How to format or get this drive recoginized?
  2. Can I install this download of the firmware on my 1.5 GB Seagate, my 1.0 GB of Seagate (another storage drive) and the 750 GB Seagate? If Yes, when I reboot, can I select which drives to apply to?

  Additionally, make sure that you disable the antivirus and firewall programs just to make sure that these programs do not block the detected printer.

  Note: You must enable the /firewall antivirus as soon as you've done troubleshooting. If this is not the case, your computer will be vulnerable to viruses.
