iPhone 7 problem of camera Auto White Balance

Hi guys, got my new iPhone 7 and had been shooting a lot of pictures with it. I noticed that all my whites in my photos appear yellowish and sometimes yellow in my photos may appear to be white / or with deep shades of yellow. I had attached 2 photos I took of a white wall in my office. 1 was captured by immediate shot in the camera application, while the other was shot after the camera go off focus. Not sure if it is a problem of software with the White Balance automatic camera or a hardware fault. I hope to hear advice from the community!

I have iPhone 7 more on her white balance seems also more hot (more yellow) than the iPhone 6 s more.

Friends with iPhone 7 also reported the same problem. Photos of the iPhone 7 more looks unnecessarily hot and yellow tinted.

Thank ' s for reading I'm waiting for your replies, cordially.

The treatment of the IR is something that is processed in the camera. This is a setting of the device which does not read Lightroom. This is because the setting is one of these individual settings that is not in a standard location. The reason that you can see the effect of the camera and Lightroom for a few seconds, it is that you see the embedded JPEG preview. But then Lightroom has built his own insight into the raw image data, ignoring almost all the parameters of the camera. If you want that the IR treatment to show immediately in Lightroom without any adjustment, then you pull this image in JPEG mode. In this way, all the settings of the camera will get 'drunk' in the image file. Lightroom will not interpret anything.

Sorry, but options warranty and service for an iPhone are only valid within the country of purchase. It is one of the disadvantages if you buy an iPhone abroad.

You will need to bring the phone to US in order to have that fixed.

Possibly, you have made changes to your 'by default develop settings'. The default WB in Lightroom should be "under the shot" to view this selection has recently imported a file raw in the develop Module, click history in the left panel, click on the first import. (see screen capture) and then see what settings have been applied to import for the white balance it must be 'in the know '.

  • Manual white balance

Is it possible to do a white balance with a white card with the F55? I found only 3 presets and a memory.

    Two ways:

The old way--set it to memory. Press MENU-> Camera-> white-> automatic White Balance.

The new way - set it to memory. Then, press camera. The Panel buttons three side albums should show "Color bars", "White car" and "Auto Black." If this is not the case, press the camera again. Press Auto White and then run. More time to describe, faster to do!

  • Canon 5 d Mark ii Images with the value of the white balance fixed. When they are imported into Lightroom, the value is different.

If I take a shot with the fixed value of 5200K WB (5 d Mark ii) and import into LR 2015.2.1, happens to 4850K. No presets or applied adjustments.

No idea why? How can I solve this problem?

    Rich

All raw converters use four multipliers of white balance RGGB tinted and embedded in the raw file EXIF data to set the white balance and 'calculate' the temperature values displayed inside the module development LR WB.

Scroll down to the "White Balance" section of the DCRAW tutorial PDF here: GUILLERMO LUIJK > TUTORIALS > DCRAW TUTORIAL it's all so raw converters all the rest of the white raw file and 'calculate' the temperature and tint values.

Here is a Canon 5 d MKII CR2 file with the White Balance adjustment 'in the know' behind closed doors:

    (Data EXIF Maker Notes)

The setting "As Shot" WB in LR shows a Temp of 4800 reading, which should produce a slight visual difference that the planned in-camera closed 5134 parameter, correct?

However, with the LR settings file, "As Shot" above the white balance CR2 is the JPEG file in camera perfectly on my Canon 5 d MKII (raw + JPEG file format). It's just that Temp readings do not, because they are "calculated" four RGGB multipliers. Each raw (LR, opening, C1) converter will probably show the values of temperature and tint different, since they are derived by using "reverse engineering" of the manufacturer of exclusive camera raw data structure and camera sensor response file.

Keep in mind that the spectral response of the camera is affected by changes in batch. A Canon 5 d MKII body can produce slightly different WB as one another using the same exact settings. Rather than depend on private clos or LR presets use a good white balance card or the ColorChecker Passport to 'calibrate' LR white balance settings standard shooting conditions (daylight, cloudy, Flash, etc.). For critical projects draw card of the white balance at least once for each unique lighting condition. You can then determine the correct inside the LR setting and settings of synchronization of the World Bank through all the images taken with this specific lighting.

  • Remove the cast/blue tint of JPG (setting the wrong while taking picture white balance)

    Hello

Photosohop newb here with still CS3 (10.0), so please be patient.

I was at a convention, there is not so long ago, I took a lot of pictures with my phone. I have noticed that in the House, that some of the photos came out with an intense blue cast because of a bad white balance setting (I must have accidentally changed).

I tried to fix the image for the last 2 hours, without real success. I tried everything under Image-> settings-> "Auto color", "Levels of colors" and "Match Color", moving the sliders up and down to get the best match. The best I could come up with was still far from the other photos that I took the same day.

This is one of the bad pictures: http://imgur.com/vw12aTQ

And here is one I took a few minutes later with the 'normal' setting: http://imgur.com/RMFm7fo

In fact, I had a pretty good game by cutting stones on the two photos and using "matches the color'-> 'Source', but I couldn't apply this technique to the overview.

Could someone please help me to make the colors of the first image similar to the second?

    Thank you

    Roland

    Here is an easy solution...

Choose the Image - adjust - curves, and then right-click the gray Point eyedropper and sample something in the picture that should be a neutral gray - say one of the rocks on the ground.  Click on in various places, until you like what you see.

  • Automatic white balance didn't work - photos is proved very violet/pink everything - can you help me?

I've been a photographer for these last years, and it's the first time I have encountered this problem. I shot an event for a couple (reception) and I didn't have my grey card, so I put my Canon 5 d mkII on the white balance automatic (shooting with a Canon 24-70 2.8 and a Sigma 85 1.4, if it helps). As you will see on the photos of two examples - photos taken in the conference hall was going well, but the Favorites of the event itself were surprisingly saturated. The room had a ton of very bright uplighting in purple and pink - the shooting was going on in the viewfinder, but once I got them in the LR4, there was an almost complete cast of violet/rose above it all. Adjustment of the balance of whites in LR for auto, tungsten, fluorescent - nothing has worked. Adjust the temporary sliders - only a little better. Reducing the vibrance and saturation has helped a little more, but I really find a solution! I can't afford to pay back their money, but if I can't find a decent solution, I'll do it. I want to give them the best possible color correction, but I'm pretty new to LR and I could use some help. Just to be clear, I'm not looking for a link to a tutorial on how to adjust the white balance - I read all the... I'm hoping by using someone who has experienced this same thing or can still offers advanced solutions that "try to set the sliders more» Thank you in advance!

This isn't a matter of White Balance, and you will not be able to adjust this image with the settings of white balance only - either behind closed doors or in Lr.

You shot this photo in colored light, and the effect you looks as if you want a fancy color filter in front of your lens.

I doubt if it can be adjusted to a 'normal' image looking at all. But for all its worth, here are the best I could come up with – even if I don't say it's THE best, in fact, it is still severely lacking.

And here's screenshots of the settings I used. I found that the most promising "adjustments" were in the calibration Panel. If you play a little bit maybe there is a better solution.

The image has a severe cast of purple, which is a red and blue combination. Increasing green will help. That is why I put the slider dyed in Basic-100.

In the calibration Panel, I put the still green hue, reduces the saturation of red and blue and changed the shades. Finally, in HSL, I reduced the saturation of blue.

PS: I think that the advice of Lee Jay is good. Create your own profile for counterweight in light color.

  • Bridge CS5 applies wrong white balance during extraction of thumbnails (only for raw files)

Hello to all the assistants of Adobe,

Photographer welder here. I use a Canon T2i and I've been shooting raw with automatic white balance.

After I downloaded the CR2 files to the bridge, bridge starts thumbnail extraction. It is then that the problem begins: I watch bridge thumbnail extraction photo after photo, turning them into white balance bad one by one. After the bridge is done, I open one of these photos in Camera Raw, it shows the picture in the "custom white balance". I could go back to "As Shot". But now, each Bridge photo has custom white balance and is difficult to bridge. This screenshot shows what looks like my bridge after thumbnail extraction...Screen shot 2011-04-22 at 12.25.07 PM.png

Yesterday, just out of curiosity, I took a few photos with the settings of the different on the camera white balance. I downloaded their bridge and bridge too wrote all the white balance settings. Then I imported the same pictures (from the same files) to iPhoto, they appear with writing correct balance. Please see the second screenshot.Screen shot 2011-04-22 at 12.05.38 PM.png

The third screenshot shows a unique photo that I opened the bridge to Camera Raw and the same photo, as it appears in iPhoto, the original two.

    Screen shot 2011-04-22 at 12.16.09 PM.png

Again, this only happens to CR2 files. All TIF, jpeg files are fine.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    -Wolfie

    Any ideas?

First of all, taken of view Raw has the advantage of the evolution of the color temperature (balance of Pentecost) to what ever you like everything you shot in camera.

It seems once you have registered a custom default setting white balance and it is applied to each new file because you said bridge to do. The best way out of this is to open a raw file in ACR and the basic right tab you see a small icon (next to the base word) submenu. Click on it and the line select "Reset Camera Raw defaults" downstairs.

Also decide if you want to stay in 16-bit mode (you're now as shown in the blue line under the preview). If you want the chance it to 8 bits, just click on this blue line and choose your options in this menu. Just do it once for that same camera files, ACR remembers the settings for you.

Using 16-bit mode has advantages when the color corrections using critical (but you should also replace the ProPhoto color mode in my opinion). The downside is that the 16 bit doubles compared to 8-bit file size

Having put default ACR should immediately make your thumbs by building of new inches and previews, but if not, you must choose purge the cache for the file from the menu Tools / cache / purge the cache for the file. Now the new settings will apply.

It may take a while so let bridge do its job properly before starting other jobs in bridge (see the activity bar downstairs left to check if the bridge is still cached).

  • The imported images are given 'flash' like the white balance

Given that I've implemented LR3 and played among others with presets, all of my (RAW) images to import are transformed to the white balance 'flash', as stated in the right column of the library and as can be seen in the picture.

The images out of the camera with a wb-info than that set to the camera during the filming of the picture, so no problem with the camera. So I suspected a few preset, but impossible to find. Then I imported the Photoshop 4 files and elements, and exactly the same thing happens: they immediately convert to the flash WB. Yes, there is a settings file that is shared by all three programs?

I checked the same files on my lap - top with LR3 and there LR shows the WB settings that I put on my camera. so the problem is with the settings on my PC.

Someone has an idea how to get rid of this setting?

    Rob

    Rob,

Could you define a default camera containing Flash WB by chance at a given time. In the LR develop Module, choose expand/Set Default Settings and click 'Restore Default Settings Adobe'. If you used other default settings applied consciously (as a non-standard camera profile), you will need to give them.

  • White balance - Plug in for adjustment

I forgot to set on my camera white balance prior to registration.  I remember coming across an AE plugin effect that's going to set/adjust the white balance, but I don't remember that one is.

The button "Auto color" Color Finesse (provided with AE) will correct the white balance errors.

  • Adding photos to change the white balance

When I add photos in Lightroom 3.2 from my hard drive, thumbnails have the original white balance, but imported and all images have a yellow tint.  My develop settings are set to None.

It is difficult to understand the details that you have given to date, what is the problem. From my experience, there are three possible reasons:

    1. corrupt monitor profile. The fact that the photos seem to 'well in Windows' does not mean that this reason may be excluded. Most of the applications in Windows are not color management and cannot be overturned by a screen maybe corrupt profile. And even if they are, they might not behave in the same way as Lightroom with some of the ICC v4 profiles.

To prove that this is not a matter of profile, make sure you remove the monitor profile form display properties or replace it with along with the sRGB profile. Or, after a shot of creen tinted yellow to image in the development with the visible histogram module. If the historgram has the yellow tint also, then - it's profile.

    2. develop predefined import or custom default to develop. Check if you do not apply a develop preset import, or if you have applied a default of custom development. Select an affected image that has not been adjusten in Deleop somehow (the + / badge is missing on the thumbnail) and check each slider on each Panel is equal to ZERO or to the default position. Check if wihte balance is set to "As shot" rather than "Custom".

3 Lightroom rendering is very different from your camera. Yet one thing that's confusing beginners is how Lightroom rendering is very different from what they see on the LCD screen of the camera or camera previews incorporated which appear briefly after importation, before Lightroom manages to make its own version of the RAW file. I guess that is not the case here, since you say you are having the same problems of JPEG files. But, just in case where, thanks to upload a file raw for us to consider here.

  • New to RAW, the question of the white balance

I have been using Lightroom for years, but with my camera, display JPG images only. I started now work with my D90 RAW (NEF) files recently and has difficulty from beginner.

    LR 2.6, Mac OSX 10.5.8, iMac 24 "2.8 GHz

The problem which brings me here is that I just did a shoot without setting a white balance. Shot JPG & NAVE and I see that Lightroom is extrapolating values AWB, that the camera is brought on the NEF files "As Shot". For a series of similar images, I found a white balance that seems to work. I set on my picture selected, shift-select the rest and try to SYNCHRONIZE the balance of whites for the other images.

Do not. World Bank of rest "As Shot" for the other images, and in every sense, following the camera. Does not help items synchronized to integrate "treatment (color).

How can you "synchronize" the white balance with NEF files, please?

    Thanks in advance.

When using the sync function and you select an image that the WB is under the gun and copy this to other images it will copy 'under the gun' for the other images not the real parameters of Kelvin of the first image. It is as expected. You make a slight modification to the image that you copy so that it is now a custom setting, and then synchronize with the other image that you want to apply the new settings.
