IPod Touch problem

I own an ipod touch 6th generation (model A1574). I have a MacBook (bought fall 2010) everything is up-to-date on both. It's on Mac OS X Version 10.6.8 I tried to sync my ipod touch and iTunes the following message appears:

Cannot use "Of Joshua iPod touch" iPod because it requires a newer version of iTunes. Go to www.itunes.com to download the latest version of iTunes.

I checked my ipod touch repeatedly to make sure the software is updated and my Mac Book and I'm hit brick walls. I just want to put music on my computer on the ipod. Help, please!

This message refers to the version of iTunes on your Mac. If you have iOS 9.x on iPod, then you need iTunes for Mac v12.3.2. Your current version of Mac OS X will not support the latest version of iTunes, you need to update your OS X, see the requirements for the latest version of iTunes from the iTunes Mac download page.

  • SYNCHRONIZATION with the IPOD Touch PROBLEM

    Help

In my IPod sync is not all of the songs in my ITunes music library are downloaded to my IPod. An error message comes up saying:

"Some of the items in the ITunes library, including (name of one of the songs) were not copied to the IPOD because you are not allowed for them on this computer."

"To authorize this computer for items bought on the ITunes store, choose Store > authorize this computer."

"For a list of items that cannot be copied, click on the + below.

In this case 48 songs do not have can be copied. The computer is allowed (I went through this process and confirms that the computer has been authorized) and in all cases, several new songs to the library have been copied.

What is the problem and how can I get these 48 songs copied to my Ipod?

It is possible that these 48 songs were purchased from the iTunes Store use a different ID to Apple?  iTunes Store no longer use DRM (copy protection) for the songs, the songs would be really old purchases (in the early years of the iTunes Store).  You can check the Apple ID used for the purchase by doing a Get Info on one of these songs in iTunes.  In the window information, file tab, look at was purchased by.  If this ID Apple is not your current Apple ID, you must use the command allow this computer again.  This time, replace your current Apple with the former and password ID.

NOTE: A computer can be allowed to read the content of several Apple ID.  Authorizing with old Apple ID does not remove the current authorization Apple ID.

  • problem syncing iPod touch with iTunes

Hi, I had a problem syncing my iPod touch with iTunes. I get a message indicating that there is not enough free space to hold items in the iTunes library, which indicates that I need about 43 GB.

I tried to take as much data on my laptop thinking it would make more space available to my iTunes library which is held on my laptop.

I had a problem some time with the storage of data files and program files. I divide the hard drive and I have a Macintosh HD 2, but also a main drive of the HD. I find that I have an iTunes library in two HD players, so I think I have a duplicate library.

My iTunes app shows that I have a size of music library of-33,40 GB containing elements of 6940. My iPod touch has 6920 songs and 33 videos, 15 photos, 14 applications. The ability of the iPod touch is 56.4 GB, with 2.8 GB available.

If the problem is the duplication of library, can I remove in double track of the HD2, and how to change tp parameters to stop duplication.

Duplication of audio content seems to be a concern for you. If you have a desktop Mac, open iTunes/library/display the duplicate items. You can view and edit tracks easily.

If you do not have a Mac desktop computer, the question is a bit tricky; There is no way to detect mp3 duplicates except manually.

The good news is that the majority of your data bloat is likely to be in the 33 videos. I could most of the videos of archives and see what happens. (I have banned all THE videos of my iPod Touch and I couldn't believe how much I got space).

  • Problem IPOD Touch Kbps

In recent weeks my Itunes and Ipod gave me royal fits. Finally, I worked on most of the questions, with the exception of one of the major problems. I have an Ipod Touch 4th generation running IOS 6 (the most recent who qualifies for 4th gen iPod.) I have Itunes 12 (the most recent eligible for Vista.) ITunes works well. I have about 6 500 songs in my music library. All my songs play fine on the Itunes library. I have finally been able to get my Ipod to sync and connect and went ahead and transferred all the songs of 6500. NOW, I can tell you that I have the option selected to convert songs from Kbps higher than 256 (from 320.) Any music that's in my library that comes from a real store Rameau CD are 320 Kbps. So, all of these songs (320 kbps) converted to 256 Kbit/s, when I transferred to my ipod. When I access the Ipod, all these albums seem to be on it, and the transfer seems to have been successful. HOWEVER, at least 1 song or two ON EVERY SINGLE ALBUM that has been converted to 256 Kbps to 320 Kbps no IS NOT PLAY. To try to explain it, imagine opening an album on your Ipod. You see the album art and track ads all (say from 1 to 12). You listen to the album, and the first two songs are playing very well. Then happens to present a track, and it does not play. The small GAME jumps from a second icon, then disappears. You go to the next song and the play icon reappears and she played normal. Every single album that was to be converted to 256 kbps to 320 Kbps for this and has at least one or two songs on the album that makes it. The funny thing is, I can delete one of the songs that doesn't work on any particular album, go into my library, re add it, and then it works. I could do this for each song, but God knows that there must be at least 1000 songs like that. ALL my music which was already 128 Kbps on my Itunes library was just fine, without errors or problems while playing. It is a weird problem it seems. Any help would be appreciated. I have already restored my Ipod twice, re installed Itunes, checked to make sure that the files were not damaged, etc. I don't know what else to do. Thanks in advance.

The following steps should resolve things assuming that all of the content you want in your library.

(If it is not see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device).

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

If that doesn't work try without conversion and synchronization less.

  • I made the theme retro hack on my iPod Touch (6g) except my iPod Touch takes forever to reset and it slow now. How can I solve this problem?

I did the thing retro theme on my iPod Touch yesterday and I didn't know it was a cut in time. I saw many people Twitter that he was cool and fun, so I decided to give it a go. My iPod by Touch takes forever to reset (hold down the lock button and the home button) and finally will come the lockscreen, but now his delay. When I type in my password, my iPod is not save it up to maybe a few seconds later. Sometimes it will just restart completely on its own too. Do I have to drain the battery or try restarting on my PC? The Apple store closest to me is a trip of four hours to a new State.

Be more careful in the future and always check the information you see on social media.

Try DFU mode, maybe this will help you, although this is not guaranteed.

Apple is aware of the problem and working on a fix.

  • IPod Touch 3 installation problems. Windows XP thinks that it is a camera in all ports. (Music/hardware problems)

Then the installation process continues, but once done, I get a message that errors have occurred in the facility. I could send an album to itunes library, but I couldn't see where to add the music to the Ipod Touch 3.  I think that there should be a "Deputy" which I don't see. Maybe the errors. I did it on my other computer a long time ago, but this computer no longer works, also with XP, no problem at this time here to operate.

I went to Microsoft after clicking in Control Panel - portable multimedia devices - and he says that the my Ipod is not need of software that it is ready to go.

I tried with and without the Ipod ports in USB 2.0 ports and also tried to restart the computer with connected.  When I first plug it into a port, it makes the sound "recognizes the new hardware' and it says IPOD.  It appears in the 'Safely remove' icon in the lower tray right, it's another icon, not sure what it is.  I just plugged it before submitting this and no message "recognizes the new hardware" appears and no icon in the status bar. I can't hear the sound it makes with new hardware, but then he does sound like I have that I have not disconnected.

Help, please! My 10 year old daughter cannot use his birthday gift, until I fix this :-(

I found the answer!  I had a Logitech computer camera to use Skype.  It turns out that although I had downloaded all driver updates, Logitech was not included in the download.  I had to go to the Web from Logitech website and download the driver directly from the site Web from Logitech.  Once I did, all my issues have been resolved.  Computer, iPod and iTunes worked fine since.

Thanks for your help and advice.

  • iPod touch recognized as a digital camera, apple says it's a windows problem

iPod touch is recognized as a problem digital camera.the says it's a windows problem...

    Hi cuteshey,

Welcome on the site of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.

    Solution 1: Update the drivers

    (1) the Device Manager open, either by right clicking on computer and then click on manage, and finally on Device Manager, or by typing devmgmt.msc in the box then find (or run) on the bottom of the start menu and press ENTER.

    (2) find the ipod, he (should) be listed under digital cameras, right click it and choose "update driver software".

    (3) select "Browse my computer for driver software".

    (4) for the location (you must have already installed itunes) use C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers (replace C: for what is the letter of your system drive), and then click Next, windows will find the driver here and continue to update the driver
    (5) after the update is complete, click Finish to close the dialog box, then disconnect the ipod and plug it in again.

Solution 2: This seems to be a known issue with the iPhone and iPod touch from Apple, I would suggest also allows you to check the link that contains the iPhone and iPod touch: Disabling digital camera notification in Windows Vista

    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1500.

Juice to ensure that it is not not a Windows problem check the Apple Support Article: iPhone and iPod touch: disable the notification of digital camera on Mac OS X

Solution 3: If the issue is not resolved, it is recommended to contact Apple for iPod Touch http://www.apple.com/support/ipodtouch to have the best support or you can reach the Dell Forums: http://discussions.apple.com and check for extra support and check if they have new updates on this issue and if they can help fix the same.

Let me know if that does or does not work. Good luck!

    Hope it will be useful.

  • IPod Touch 2 G connection problem

    I had a problem connecting my IPod Touch 2 G for a WRT54GS wireless.

I had originally set WRT54GS of security WPA PSK.  My Ipod Touch has found my network and I typed that it connects.  The Ipod has asked the password that I entered.  The Ipod appeared to connect to the network (showing a tick and the signal strength of 3 bars).  When I tried to access the internet through Safari, he reported that no internet connection could not be found.  My next trick was to remove security setings to my wireless router.  On the internet connection, I had the same report (unable to connect to the internet).

I then tried to renew the lease through the Ipod.  The fields remain empty (without router id or dns values).  I still couldn't connect to the internet.

I next tried a static connection by manually entering the information of intellectual property (192.168.1.103 / 255.255.255.0 etc.).  Now, I could connect to the internet, but one of my Internet Radio Apps wouldn't connect.

I just got an old Belkin Wireless Router hang out.  I have connected this place and set WPA - PSK security.

I turned on my Ipod Touch, clicked on my network connection, enter the required password and stole I had full internet connection (including applications of internet radio).

    Issues related to the:

Why can I not connect to the internet using the WRT54GS with or without security using DHCP?

Why need to put in place a static connection?

Why Internet Radio applications did not work with the static connection?

Why the connection allowed Belkin so easily?

I really want to use the WRT54GS with my Ipod because it has a stronger more stable signal strength.

I spent several hours trying to solve this problem.

Well, I updated the firmware as advised and my Ipod Touch connects now as it should.

Thanks for the tips on this topic.

  • Problem of gyroscope with iPhone/iPod Touch 4th generation with iOS 6

We have built an application using AIR SDK 3.4 and are faced with questions only with this device configuration - iPhone/iPod Touch 4th generation with iOS 6

Anyone has had similar problems. For the Gyroscope data, we use this native extension - http://www.ketzler.de/2011/11/adobe-air-gyroscope-native-extension-with-euler-angles-roll-pitch-lacet-pour-ios /

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you.

Yes, the problem is that the Gyroscope consumes lots of CPU, if the update interval is set to a low value.

We managed to solve this problem recently by using the extension of Gyroscope by Distriqt - http://distriqt.com/native-extensions#gyroscope and by setting the interval to update to SENSOR_DELAY_NORMAL (http://extensions.distriqt.com/docs/gyroscope/docs/com/distriqt/extension/gyroscope/Gyrosc ope.html #SENSOR_DELAY_NORMAL).

  • problems updating iPod Touch iTunes sync and lists 9.3.2,and playback on the iPod

I updated the iPod touch and iTunes and as a first step, I lost all my library because the update iTunes but that is fixed, I had back ups. But when I synced my iPod touch, I had to delete and synchronize the contents of my iPod which has ruined all my playlists in iTunes in sync because the iPod could synchronize only half of the songs because of the error 54. Who sets, restarted the laptop and iPod but because of this, the iTunes playlist had the sync iPod songs. Fixed by re sync several times, I'm always short 4 songs on my iPod to my main playlist but some songs that appear on the iPod do not play, I can choose them but they do not play then shows no played piece. When I get a song to the playlist which works module to the top next just shows that the song only, even if it has been selected by the Shuffle Playlist button. Also some songs on the iPod is not the correct album cover, I'm guessing because of error 54 *, and these songs are often unplayable. All right back on iTunes is just the iPod for now.

The following steps below should fix things, assuming that all the content you want in your library.

(If it is not see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device).

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.
