  I have again on blackberry and need help to solve a problem.

  Page 29 in the BIS 2.5 user guide has that "when you remove a message from a built-in e-mail account, the message is also deleted on your BlackBerry smartphone.

  This does not work for me. It does not work when I delete from the camera, it will then remove the server.  It's my business account, which uses a normal pop3 server / imap type installation. Nothing fancy such as exchange servers.   I just download my server to hosts on outlook 2002 messages, thus erasing them from the server. Please note that I have the choice of using pop3 or imap.  I tried both and it does not in any way delete.

  Verizon says this will only work with BES, but as you can see above, the BIS said it should work.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  If you use IMAP and set it up properly, it "should" reconcile your bidirectional deletions, at LEAST since the e-mail server for the BB, and if you delete your your Outlook cuts from the mail server, then it should delete the BB as well. It may not work as smoothly, however.

  On the accounts POP, removing your Outlook will not reconcile with the BB.

  I was wondering if someone could help I have tried everything to fix the error 552 on my curve 8520 but nothing works, and now the phone will not connect to my laptop, I tried apploader now it says device current is updated, office says unable to connect to the device (from the outset) software and the phone does nothing except sitting on a white screen with "software reloading 552" written on it.

  As your device does not detect that you can try the Application loader to force detection of your device to load the operating system, please see the Knowledge Base Article:

  But remember, in this process, you will lose all data in your device, I hope you have your backup.

  I just got a new phone for my wife and she loves it. She's getting used to it because it has changed again?

  I tried to find the card online. I also spoke with a Sprint representative at my local store. Can I get a larger SDHC card for this phone so she can put more things on it or is it limited to the microSD?

  I looked in the manual and didn't see the answer. Any help would be great.

  In my opinion, one of the many Sprint cards announced for the tour mentions the use of cards MicroSD 16 GB and 16GB being a size SDHC, which practically means that the phone is SDHC compatible. Of course, I've not tried it myself, I can't guarantee anything. Here again, that's why he's back!

  I tried to access the app store and said that to do this I need to update the application.   I can't find any way to actually download this application, which is the method for downloading of all other applications. It is a worrying phenomenon.

  Please HELP or give me an idea where to start with this question.

  (Edit) I just did an assembly/disassembly by the desktop client - still get the prompt 'need to update', which brings me through the links lead nowhere, as shown above. I also removed app world and tried a new installation of the 2 ways this last mentioned above and got the same behavior. Something is happening with the download page?

  Try this:

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  But give him maybe 15 minutes to "settle", without doing anything. Then, the first thing to go in the BB native browser and try the link again...

  This is probably a really stupid question... but my missed call have stopped through to your voicemail.

  I know that my voicemail works because if I press the 'end' button (red button) on a call entering... the call through to your voicemail box... so I know it works.

  But when a new call comes through and you don't respond or cancel... that it will not redirect the caller to my voice mail.

  I hope it's just a simple setting, I forgot.

  It is not a function of BB, which would be the carrier controlling the voice line.

  I thought that it may be a stuck option in the phone, but more I thought, the

  BB does not put the call in VM. Just like a regular phone is not ' either. When you hit the

  Ignore button, the carrier receives a signal. I would check with my carrier. I just had to call Verizon

  my time at VM was approximately 4 traffic lights, and it was supposed to be 30 seconds. They were to apply

  the options again.

• BlackBerry Smartphones not able to put up my work on Blackberry Internet Service email accounts

  The week last Blackberry internet service sent me the following message is displayed:

  Action required: update password!

  Update the password for [email protected] in the Blackberry Internet Service!  The e-mail messages are not delivered to your BlackBerry.  To resume receiving messages email to this email address, update the password in the Blackberry Internet Service.

  The thing is that my password for this e-mail account has not changed, so I was confused as to why am I being asked to update.  I tried anyway.  I was unable to.  So I contacted my ISP technical support.  They suggested I remove entirely the BIS account and then add again.  I deleted the account and now I am unable to add.  When I try to add I get the following message:

  1. an error occurred during validation of the email account.  Please check your information and try again.

  All the info, as I entered are correct.  Why is - BIS is no longer recognizing my email?

  It seems that there is no resolution to my problem, but there are ways around it.  Thank you!

• BlackBerry Smartphones No way to lock my blackberry 8820

  I've updated the software on my blackberry 8820 at 4.5.0.110.   The lock icon is now gone, and the backberry never seems to lock on its own. Needless to say, it's bad. If I put it in my pocket, it will start to deal on its own.

  How to retrieve the lock command? I tried to "Show all" and looked in each folder for a lock icon. Not been found.

  Any help appreciated.

  I found my problem. The lock icon was hidden in the 'Documents to Go' folder (which I didn't even know was a folder). In any case, it seems that the problem was my fault since I found the icon of padlock, hidden in a subfolder.

  I'm fighting to implement all my needs on a new BB Tour 9630. I managed to get Google calendar sync, but only one-way, from Google

  for the 9630. I think I need to put it to the two-way synchronization, but for the life of me, I can't find where it's done. I looked through all the parameters

  and the options menu.  Help on Google shows a page but on Outlook. I'm trying to sync to Google for the BB - no involvement of outlook.

  I got the two-way synchronization to work. I reinstalled the Google sync program and it seems to work. Not sure of the exact

  reaons.

  So, for the record, it works with the 9630 and there is no need to involve the Outlook. If you want to convert your existing caldenar you will need to sync once, but if you create a new calendar, you must never Outlook.

  I'm trying to support nearly 100 blackberries (mainly the Tour), and any update wireless breaks phones with varying results: anywhere to delete simply sync settings of electronic mail (all carriers) all the way to the phone impossible to make/receive calls (just from T-Mobile for the lack of vocation Verizon or AT & T seems unaffected so far).  We do * not * use a BES server, however, if that's what it takes, I'm definitely ready to go.  When an update is needed (by our standards), I'll make them.  I don't really want anything coming from Blackberry, never.

  I ask users to hide the Update icon, however, they always say eventually, he comes back and keeps asking to install the update.  To get rid of the gene, they do the update, break the phone, then have the greater discomfort to wait until I can get the fixed phone.

  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

  You can also use the mass storage Mode to browse your BlackBerry Media Card of your computer to find the image and copy it to a folder on your PC.

  Before I can get by email or phone on my BlackBerry, I must first click OK several times to dismiss the calendar to display notifications. Is there a way to disable these notifications?

  I use mainly my BlackBerry during the day, so accumulate calendar notifications. Then in the evening I want to check emails or make a quick call. I wake up the BlackBerry and am forced to click OK several times to remove all notifications of calendar before I can read an email or make a call. I would like to disable this function of "convenience".

  Hi mikerisner and welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums!

  To turn off notifications, go to your calendar, press the menu key and choose Options. Select the calendar you want to disable. Change the option to display reminders to no. that will eliminate pop-up reminders on your BlackBerry for this calendar.  If you have reminders of several calendars, for each affected.

  To access your emails without a browser, you can use Mozilla Thunderbird.

  There are just about the easy installation program account in the application. It also has a native support for Google mail accounts.

  Got my storm for about 5 days and I'm still trying very hard to this...

  in any case, as my topic, I'm trying to see if there is an easier way of correct Miss typed words in a message. Sometimes, when I typed a message, there is a spot with misspelling or a word that does not pick up the AutoText. In this case, I need to space out back everything I typed in order to correct. It became very bored. Does someone know a better solution for this?

  If you write an e-mail or a text message, touch the screen with your finger, but don't click it. After like 3 seconds, the cursor turns into a rectangular box. Keep your finger on the movement of the screen the cursor to the desired location in the text. When you release the box changes in a cursor, and you can then type or delete.
