• Not connected Secure Application Manager

  Hi all

  I use Acer Aspire 4937 Windows Vista and when I load the Secure Application Manager it does not connect. I'm running under administrator and have disabled all my firewall. The icon is white instead of blue shooting.

  I read a response from forum suggested running in "safe mode with network" and the truly connected secure application manager! But now how do I get it connected in "normal" mode.

  Pls help. Thank you

  If your application is connected correctly in safe mode, this means that there is a conflict with other software or programs.

  Hello.  I have an Acer Aspire under Vista 64-bit desktop.  I have an error message when I try to export photos from Adobe Lightroom on my zenfolio online gallery.  The error message reads:

  I, to the best of my knowledge, did in the Security section of the Control Panel, adding to the list of exceptions in Lightroom.  However, it did not connect.

  I'd appreciate any help on this!

• I'm running Thunderbird ver15 under Win Vista. Gmail considers ver15 a low security application. How updated to a version that works with Gmail?

  This worm is working great for years. Suddenly, Gmail could not accept my sign-in. I have auto day together in Thunderbird, but it won't go past worm 15. Only after that I changed the setting in Gmail to enable low security Gmail applications would allow me in my emails via Thunderbird. I could connect to Gmail via the web very well, but not via Thunderbird. Could this be a problem with Vista?

  Then I tried to configure server authentication to "OAuth2" method, but this option was not available. in the drop-down list.

  "OAuth2" only works for IMAP accounts. For POP "Normal password" is required, either in "allow applications that are less safe" or authentication step 2.

  You can set if "OAuth2' for SMTP server outgoing.

  I came to know that this forum is for sales, hope, that this is the right place to report this bug. Here is my original post.

  Let me describe the situation from the beginning:

  We have networked HP printers in all schools and we, as admins, configuration of printers, do not want end users to change on any of them.

  On the one hand, from OS X 10.6 - I can't remember clearly is it 10.5, OS X introduced security integrated two system, _lpoperator, and _lpadmin groups, _lpoperator is intended for users who can suspend or resume a print, obviousely _lpadmin as an admin can do something for add/delete/modify printer.

  You must read the comparison of strings in Java.  This line:

  If (pinNumber == "12345678") {...

  will never work for you.  You need to use something like:

  If (pinNumber.equals ("12345678" "") {...)

  This problem of string comparison is probably one of the most common made by beginners of Java.  I recommend you get a basic Java book and re-read it before making too many other coding otherwise, you will hit most of these problems.

  Another point, the BlackBerry platform has its own peculiarities, which means it is not the ideal platform to learn, at least for a very new Java developer.  You can get a few basic java programs working on a platform, that you better know before you start trying to code Java on BlackBerry.

  I don't have any idea as why it does not work for you. The only thing I can think is now maybe your server machine does not recognize the domain name, i'e, it is not in the table.   I have saved the old wsconfig.jar file and have uploaded a new. I've renamed the new wsconfig.jar file and copied over the old (this is not mentioned in the instructions, but it seems logical to do). I started cmd and cd C:\CFusionMX7\runtime\lib\ folder and I entered the command:
  
  Java - java - Dtrace.ci = 1 - jar wsconfig.jar - upgrade - v
  
  I have an error message:
  
  'java' is not recognized as internal or external command operatable program or batch file
  
  Event if I try to check the version of the old wsconfig.jar file I have the same error message.

  I fixed it!
  First of all, I've added to the variable path path of real access to the java.exe but no luck with the fix.
  Simply put, I copied the java.exe file in the same folder as wsconfig.jar and have run the command successfully! Be sure to rename the downloaded jar file and copy it to the former. Ignore the little jar file decompression in the post above (link).

  I suggest that you check if there is that all previous versions are present, if all previous versions are present, then you can try to restore the previous version and check.

  1. right click on the file, click Properties.
  2. click on the previous Versions tab.
  3. check if all previous versions are available and select the same.
  4. click on restore.
  5. click on OK.

  Now, check if you are able to delete the file or not.
