  • Should I Foxit Reader Plugin for Mozilla?

I have no problem with the drive if you are using Firefox, but I remembered to install an update today, which does not work. My plugin, which was the last update July 2013 is set to always turn on, but since it is not up-to-date, it is may not be enabled.

Can I update the plugin? Do I need at all if the application works?

    Thank you.

    Hi CiaoBella1,

This plugin seems to have been developed by a company third, and it seems to be used for the display of PDF documents:

Firefox is able to visualize PDF files without plugins extra, so if you are not using and know all the specific features of this software, you can uninstall it permanently.

Also, what version of the plugin Foxit did you? It seems that the 2.2.1.530 versions and more have a security hole. If you have an older version installed, you need to update or uninstall this plugin.

If you need additional assistance in connection with this plugin, please contact them through the following page:

We hope that this information has been useful. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

  • Need plugin for Camera raw KB407111 - can't find it on the Adobe website - anyone know where I can download it please?

I try to open raw files from a camera Olympus - format of the ORF. Photoshop message says KB407111, but the Adobe website is terrible and I can't find the download. Any ideas anyone?

    Thank you

    Niki

Hi John - Thanks for the reply. I could not find the download of Camera Raw, just the reference article, very frustrating. I finally managed to find, she and her now installed and all good. The Adobe website is a nightmare to find all downloads since they moved to cloud based apps.

  • Business of Foxit for Mozilla Plugin cannot update

When I try to open a file http://www. ... xyz.pdf in Firefox 17.0.1, message "this plugin is vulnerable and must be updated. See (here) for updates. Click here (anywhere on the screen) to activate the Foxit PhantomPDF for Mozilla plugin. »

When I go on the site which has so-called links to the updates, it takes me to the Mozilla plugin check page. On this page, to the right of 'Foxit business Plugin for Mozilla' it says 'unknown plugin. If I choose the option "search", it opens Google search on the subject of Foxit. The link above leads me to a FAQ from Foxit page that does not seem to answer my question. It is linked to an offer for a 'trial' Foxit Reader PhantomPDF version, but I already have a version under license, although the licensed version does not specifically say that he understands the plugin for Mozilla.

I've tried using the Firefox|Options|Applications to keep Firefox from opening "Foxit PhantomPDF Plugin for Mozilla" and instead to use Adobe Acrobat 8.0 for opening Adobe Acrobat 7.0 documents. Selecting Acrobat 8.0 or selecting "Always ask," (for all of the three Acrobat 7 items) doesn't stop Firefox from insisting on opening "Foxit PhantomPDF Plugin for Mozilla" I have tried disabling the plug-in "Foxit PhantomPDF Plugin for Mozilla", but Firefox still insists on using it.

BTW I lance Firefox on another machine WinXP SR - 3 who is NOT a licensed copy of Foxit Phantom, then open pdf with Adobe Acrobat Reader documents on Internet. I was unable to get Adobe Acrobat Reader to install on my main machine, perhaps because she believes that the presence of the version of Acrobat 8.0 license makes the drive useless.

I tried the manual disabler via "subject: config ' and went to:
    C:\Program Files\Mozilla plugins
and renamed the file with triple x to this:
    XXXnpFoxitReaderPlugin.dll
But FireFox continues to insist on the use of Foxit Phantom Reader for Firefox

I do not know the nature of the vulnerability of plugin, but I would avoid any possible vulnerabilities. How do I kill the 'Foxit business Plugin for Mozilla' or where can I find a compatible update?

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you... that worked... I don't know if the PDF was or was not an option when I looked before, but he was here this time, and by selecting Adobe to address, files now open smoothly.

  • Foxit Reader spits a lot "not a PDF" on certain pages

I noticed that Foxit Reader Plugin throws many errors on some pages in the PDF document, even if there is none. First of all, I saw this problem on amazon.com. There is no error on the home page, but when I choose any item, he throws around 5 errors. Today I noticed similar is happening in my hotmail account. When I try to view the Inbox, it throws the error dialogue 8, page does not work in general; can not see the emails, navigate through folders (just nothing happens if I click).
Is there a way to fix this?

I just upgraded to Win 7 64 bit and explore 8.0 before doing that I could click on pdf files and have them open in a pane of the viewer in Directory Opus. Hello Steel50,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

To check that you have set Foxit PDF Reader by default.
You can follow one of the three following ways:

    • When you open Foxit Reader for the first time, you will be asked to set Foxit Reader in your default PDF Viewer. Click Yes.
    • Open Foxit reader, go to the Help menu and select "Set to Default PDF Reader".
    • Open 'My computer' > select the "Tools" menu > "Folder Options" > "File Types" > know 'PDF' > click on the "Edit" button and choose Foxit Reader.

I would also check your default programs.
    Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs\Set Associations

Open the control panel (all items view) and click the default programs.
Click on the game to link your default programs.
In the left column, select the program (highlighted) a list that you want to change the associations is default for file.
To set all Assciations by default in the Program-
NOTE: This will allow to associate the selected program by default used by Windows 7 to open all types of files and protocols it can open.
Click set this program as default.
    Click Save to apply.
    Click OK.

If the configuration of the default program does not help, then I suggest that you contact the Foxit support for assistance.
Click here for link to Foxit.

    I hope this helps.

  • Adobe Flash Player for Mozilla (ver.30) will not download

Then Mozilla 'Check your Plugins for updates' determines that the shock wave Flash Player Flash must update and sending me to Adobe to get updates (14.0.0.125)... DOES not depend on what link I click on the is I have the option to install McAfee* (not * or GoogleChrome * + w (No * + is not *) *.) Then I have a 'install it now' button to click, which will ask you to save the file (stops as <install_flashplayer14x32ax_gtbd_chrd_dn_aaa_aih.exe> for downloading 'Google' options)... (stops as <install_flashplayer14x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe> for "McAfee" options dnld).

When I type "run", the Adobe Flash Player installer window opens... (a small window, only to see the progression, I guess) and just sits there, white... forever... doing nothing - until I have * ctrl + alt + delete , end the process (the only way to stop it*)... and when I checked, went to the "registered" file as well.

I WAS * to finally upgrade my Adobe PS (for Internet Explorer * only) with a link m_vargas was kind enough to send (after I posted in the wrong sector/debate), so I'm posting my Mozilla problem here (hoping that this is the right place to post the question).

I'm currently experimenting on another page, trying to find the page, the link, the name of the file that contains the options "McAfee"... (but in the end, he does exactly the same thing and will not be updated either). Of course, I'm not the only one who has this problem, but I do not see other messages concerning a problem of 'Mozilla' like that... maybe I'm in the wrong place.

... ok... the 'Google' link just of using IE Tab options or by using IE itself is to make to "http://get.adobe.com" "... while link/options"McAfee"comes to using Mozilla to join the"http://get.adobe.com"" " page."             BUT like I said... OR / link to the results page to get FP set to level.

AND *, make the "clean install" gave rise to ALL * of my saved Flash player versions get annihilated... GONE *... from my computer.

So I hope that someone knows m_vargas, or is as smart as they seem to be and don't know a "Good" link for the update of MOZILLA FP (either Flas * or ShockWave...) I finally read somewhere that they are the same... *).

    Thank you

  • Is there a page of archive for the Flash Player plugins for PORTABLE versions of the web browsers?

Is there a page of archive for downloads installers for Flash Player plugin for PORTABLE versions of web browsers like Firefox ESR?

One of my web browsers is Firefox ESR 10.0.7 and is a PORTABLE of Firefox version that apparently needs a different Flash Player plugin that the plugin Flash Player normal requiring regular versions of most web browsers.

I don't want to install the most recent PORTABLE Flash Player plugin version because I read about the problems with it and it is the only capable version this ESR Firefox will give me the opportunity to download and install when I try to install the plugin Flash Player necessary through the browser.

I already know about the page archive plugin Adobe Flash Player normal, below, the link, but who don't have the Flash Player plugins for MOBILE web browsers.

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/archived-Flash-Player-versions.html

I also looked on OldApps.com and I couldn't find anything there.

Where can I download an older version, maybe one of the plugins Flash Player 11.2 to round April 2012, that will work with this version of PORTABLE Firefox ESR?

I tried this question in the forum of Mozilla Firefox Help, but no one could answer.

    Thanks for any help,

    digiday

I met the same problem with the version of portable Firefox, I've tried.  I found myself ignoring the record (with the text file) that they have provided and created my own folder 'plugins' alongside firefox executable.

As to why I went with 10.3 11.4, it was mainly because we added in Flash Player 11.3 protected mode.  While this might work (it didn't on my first attempt), it adds a layer of complexity that I didn't want to face.  If you need some of the new features of 11.x, then you have to play with it to see if you can get this to work.  One thing to try would be to modify the mms.cfg by disabling the protected-mode, however, I do not know if this file is accessible outside your windows\system32\macromed\flash folder.

You can find all versions of 10.3 here: where can I find direct downloads of Flash Player 10.3 for Windows or Macintosh?

Hi berwyn, mozilla won't because the plan published (as do other browser vendors as well) is completely remove support for the npapi and move the web content plugin. the win64 version already takes this kind of slate.
