• Outlook cannot synchronize with icloud for today

  Today, Outlook 2011 fails to synchronize with iCloud IMAP. Until yesterday it worked very well with "p01 - imap.mail.me.com" as a server but, since this morning, I have nothing.   I noticed that I can not update the facebook app... icon next to the application turns... then returns to the icon "detected"...

• I can't trust iCloud for backup?

  My wife and I have several Macs and iPad backup iCloud. Today we have connected and the documents of our Pages are gone — not a few documents, but precious and many lost work. Lost? I've seen other posts related to Pages and sheets of deleted documents and unrecoverable IOS after the most recent upgrade. I visited iCloud.com and searched recoverable documents in the 'Advanced' section to see if the papers were there - they were not. I checked to see if iCloud in 'Settings' with all our devices - it is. Apple said at the time that we shouldn't count on iCloud for backup, because they cannot ensure our documents stored cloud will survive our specific to the device updates? Seriously? So I should relegate all iCloud to toy status devices because they are not reliable for work? Why our unit upgrades would replace somehow data that was stored "safely" remotely? Wasn't that the point of iCloud 'trust' in the first place. Can anyone talk me down off that ledge I'm about to throw my (many) features of work Apple out of? Thank you.

  Apple do not back up user iCloud storage and does not announce that iCloud is a backup service. It is a place of convenience for document sharing between Apple devices only. You alone are responsible for the backup of your files, and which is carried out with an external drive properly size Time machine and, possibly, yet another external drive that you clone your boot drive too.

  Time Machine backs up your documents in iCloud drive (if they were changed) with each hourly backup run. The condition is that the Mac must be signed in the iCloud and iCloud drive active. In addition, selected items in the category of Options iCloud drive will get photographed by Time Machine.

  With paragraph 2 is met, Time Machine will search your local library: Documents Mobile folder. It is the active content of your iCloud drive.

  Once iCloud drive is enabled in the Yosemite or later (on any device from Apple), devices iOS and Mac using the same Apple ID, but running older versions of Mac OS X will lose their documents in iCloud site.   I save my photos from my ipnone in icloud. Today, I needed to free up space on my phone so I made sure the photos and videos have been backed up in the cloud, but when I removed them from my phone, they are now gone from the Cloud. Why?

  I thought that kept any cloud, so you can free your phone. What I'm doing wrong that will keep my photos and info on the cloud when I delete from the phone.

  If you have settings > iCloud > Photos > iCloud library turned on then all of the photos you delete from your phone will be deleted to iCloud and any other device connected to this library to iCloud.

  iCloud photo library as is currently is above all a method of synchronization between devices. It is NOT a backup, and it is not designed to be a storage cloud solution only.

  You can reduce the space required for the photos on your phone by selecting "Optimize iPhone storage" on the same above-mentioned settings screen.

  I never used iCloud and never downloaded icloud, but today discovered what seems to be a U2 album in my iTunes. There is a symbol of a cloud to each song (see photo). I have never downloaded any music of U2.

  Now she has a new MacBook Air and admit not remembering how my account works.  It only works in the emails ending: iCloud.  It has 3.

  I have an Apple ID, bit if ever used.  Now, get in there, we cannot fathom out.  I have an e-mail address that ends with: hotmail.com and one which ends with: outlook.com.

  She has created an icloud.com address today for me, for the purpose of the eradication of my hotmail address.  I can't work on that is the primary e-mail address.

  Why my main e-mail address appears as my Apple ID?  It ends in: outlook.com

  She has created an email address iCloud which ends: iCloud.com. It is named as: checked.

  But on the web from iCloud, I says I have '0' 3 aliases.  As a result, the Apple ID cannot be my main email address.  Can he?

  That's all what I can possibly get rid of my hotmail email.

  Well, it seems that there is a mixture to the top with knowing what email address is your primary Apple ID! Not to worry. Knowing what email addresses are actually Apple ID should allow you to sort. So it is with the creation of this new email iCloud.com, automatically an another Apple ID in addition to your original ID of Apple. However, this code and your Outlook.com ID cannot be combined or merged. Which, in my opinion, would be the best resolution is to use the Web page of my Apple ID. • Selector application - Mac apps "opening force", see screenshot

  Hi, the strangest thing just started happening. I have never seen it before. See attached screenshot. My application switcher function (when I press command + tab) shows now 2 separate with icons in box areas. The Chrome icon on the left says "Mac" and I have no idea what it is or how it got there. I had force the computer to shut down today because first of all, it's Safari which was in this area 'Of Mac' on the left. I force shuts down the computer, and when it restarts, it now has the Chrome icon in there. It won't go away, and I can't stop the machine because commissioning the application keeps on its own. I emptied my items folder of the entire opening in my user preferences. There is no startup in this item. Yet, it takes forever for my mac started lately, and now it is happening. No one knows what it is and how to make it stop? Thank you

• HP Officejet want 5740: HP Envy does not print from the photo tray

  All of a sudden the printer refuses to print from the print bed.  I sat down today and photos of 4 x 6 successfully printed iPhoto.  When I went the second impression, it would only print from the paper tray.  All the settings are correct.  The window of the printer poster paper in all trays of correct size.  The printer settings are correct. I tried to restart the computer to reset, but in vain.

  I understand that you are having problems to print from the photo tray. I can help you with this.

  I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
  Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
  Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
  This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  Here are the steps to print the photos. HP ENVY 5540, 5570 Deskjet and Officejet 5740 - print photo printers.

  If you're still having problems, it may be a damaged printer driver, try the following:

  Fix permissions of the drive on the Mac:

  Close all applications.

  In the Apple menu, click OK, click Applications, and then click utilities.

  Double-click disk utility.

  Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left.

  Click on check and then repair disk permissions.

  Restart the computer...

  Reset the printing system:

  Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

  In the last 8 days, I had 10 breakdowns of the system. They are due also System 32 drivers, such as ntfs.sys, ntkrnlpa.exe, hsx_dp.sys, ksecdd.sys, ecache.sys.

  The most recent is down today because of ksecdd.sys. The error code that was produced was 0xA (10110, 0xFFFFFFFF82B11926, 2, 0 x 0 x 0 x 0). The name of the error is error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Also the computer crashed today, because of the same error, ksecdd.sys (ksecdd! SecMakeSPN + 0x12CE).
  12 it crashed due too: ecache.sys. The error code product was 0xD1 (0x1E, 0 x 2, 0 x 0, 0xFFFFFFFF88971971). The title of the error is error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Also 12, the computer crashed had too much hsx_dp.sys (HSX_DP + 0x365AC). The error code that was produced was 0x1000007E (0xFFFFFFFF8D0405AC, 0xFFFFFFFF8935B4DC, 0xFFFFFFFF80000004, 0xFFFFFFFF8935B1D8). The title of the error is: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. The computer has crashed once more 9, time too ksecdd.sys (ksecdd + 0x3C3A7). The error code that has been produced is 0xA (0 x 0, 8 x 2, 0 x 0, 0xFFFFFFFF820CBCBB). The title of the error is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. The computer has crashed once more on the 8th due too, ntfs.sys (Ntfs + 0xB850). The error code that has been produced is 0xA (0 x 0, 4 2, 0 x 0, 0xFFFFFFFF820E2BF7). The title of the error is: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Yet once the computer crashed on 6th due too, ksecdd.sys (ksecdd + 0x3C3A7). The error code that has been produced is, 0xC5 (0x1, 0x2, 0 x 1810108, 0xFFFFFFFF8213D82A). The title of error is DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL. The computer is a compaq Presario SR5510F. I'm running Windows Vista Home premium 32-bit. The computer has 2gbs of ram and a processor AMD Athlon X 25000 bicoeur.

  1. are there restrictions regarding the encryption of Session VC? Any other provider doesn't support encryption protocols that supports Cisco? Is there a universal standard that follows Cisco and other providers are supported? or what encryption protocol does Cisco endpoints use?

  2. in the case where the ideal solution would be to place the TMS server when Exchange Server was Singapore and other devices of Infratsructure as MSE, VCS are placed in Bangalore? so TMS also should be in Bangalore? Assuming that endpoints are placed in the two countries, Singapore and the India.

  3. can we we block the room of meeting/endpoint at a later date (e.g. a month down the line) even if endpoint is down today?

  4. how the synchronization between TMS and the Exchange takes place? At a defined frequency, or immediately after booking?

  5. How will the backup and redundancy supported the (of the Setup configuration) when a restore after a crash of the server of TMS.

  6. What is the capacity of the content server blade in MSE8000?

  7 Will a room (like the normal audio room) get recorded in the MSDS and can be booked in TMS without having an IP address?

  To answer some of your questions;

  3 - Yes, you can book if it is down

  5 - there are several ways for backup/redundancy.  The MSDS Server works on Windows and uses a SQL database for all it's data, which can either be run locally on the same host or on a different SQL Server shared.  Backup of the database is the same as any other backup SQL Server, but if you run it locally on a virtual computer you can just take a snapshot of the whole machine and restore from that.

  7. as long as your VCS can route calls to some 'room' or the outer end point you want to talk, you can book as a participant 'external '.  Just enter the number, E164, H323ID, SIP URI in the 'external' on the reservation tab.
