Is it possible to connect to the APEX of the outside world?

I have a requirement to connect to the application out APEX (a java program). Is there a way to do this, maybe a web service? The basic requirement is to display some data to DB APEX by a scheduled task.

I had a way to publish the APEX application data. Found that it supported is for the RESTful web service. It worked for me.

I currently have a server running on a fedora 12 VM Workstation VM. I want to access the server from outside of the virtual machine, but for a reason, even not the host computer will have access to the virtual server. Is it possible to route the network cards so that when someone outside the VM workstation tries to access the server VM, they can just go directly on the server instead of getting blocked by network adapters?

Set up networks bridged and point it at your card of ethernet connected to the internet. If you have a router with NAT (like 99.9% of office configurations), you will need to forward individual ports if you want to be exposed to the public internet. If you are happy to expose it only within your local network, you don't have to redirect ports.

Using network bridge, the virtual machine has its own IP address, whether on the public internet (in the case of no NAT) or on your local network (in the case of NAT). The scope of the IP address assigned is exactly her same as that assigned to the host computer - so if the host has an Internet IP, you need to configure one, or to have assigned via a DHCP server for your virtual machine as well. OTOH, if your host is behind a NAT, it probably has a DHCP server that puts an IP address in the range of 192.168.x.x for your virtual machine, automatically.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry does not connect to the blackberry World Server

    Hello

I have a BB9780. I got it as a set of second hand.

My service provider is Vodacom SA and I propose a package of BIS with them, they confirm that my package of their side has no problem.

I tried all the tips I've read on this Forum and still nothing helps.

I enter the BB app world and it tells me that 'Blackberry cannot connect to the blackberry world server.

Again this is not the side of my carrier form since they confirm that my package is open and usable.

I can get Temp to the BB app world via WiFi but lose the connection, and this isn't my WiFi as my laptop is still online when I am offline

    Help, please

Ok. Do not worry about the BES... This is Blackberry Enterprise Service and only for use by businesses. The setting we use is BIS... Blackberry Internet services. Unfortunately many networks will tell users that their BIS is connected when they did not. My advice is to ring the network, tell them where you looked, in the State. She shows very clearly your BIS is not connected and ask them to connect

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry ID / connection for the apps world problems

I am unable to connect to the BB apps world or my BB ID. When asked for my email address and security question, I am known, and I do not know the answer to my security question! No idea how I can reset my login details?

Hello and welcome to the Forums at you two!

Try the steps in this KB, even if the description of the problem is not the same as yours:

    • KB25521"" is not available for download on BlackBerry App World "appears when you try to download an application from BlackBerry App World "

Are you trying to do, with your BB attached to your PC, open a session in AppWorld from your PC and get the link with your BB AppWorld.

So the bad news is... If you cannot work here, there is only one thing that remains to be done. You must find the initial Welcome e-mail, you received when registering for AppWorld... insofar as there will be a link that allows you to remove your AppWorld account. Then, re-create the BB ID/AppWorld account, using the same credentials. This process is supposed to add a link to your account at the end of the RIM, providing you access to AppWorld AND also all of your previous purchases showing in MyWorld.

    Good luck!

  • openSuse 11.2 Guest - it connects to the outside, nothing can connect to it

Help.  I did a little research and see nothing on this sort begins this thread.  I have XP sp3 as the host (32 bit) and openSuse 11.2 64 bit guest.  Vmware 7.0.  So I did a default installation of openSuse 11.2 as a guest, it installed fine.  I put her to the bridged network.  By default, it seems to have installed dhcp, that is fine.  Thus, linux guest system can connect to other resources on my local network and internet, so, it seems, networking is also a fine configuration.  In addition, I ping the linux system invited the host and all the other machines on my network.

HOWEVER, I am trying to run apache or glassfish in my linux system.  I know they are run properly, because I can start them and then open and connect to the latter via the firefox browser in the guest operating system.  However, NO other computer on my LAN can somehow (other then ping) to connect to the system called linux.  Any port or ulr I use.  If I didn't know better I'd swear there is a firewall installed and functioning as a default in the linux prompt.  However, from what I understand from others who made the installation of openSuse 11.2 even deafult tell me, this is ridiculous - there is no default firewall not installed with openSuse, so that it cannot be.  So I have no idea.  I've used several other windows guest operating system and they all work very well and can be access by other systems on the network (assuming I have set them as bridged).  So I don't really think it is inherent in vmware to change a setting, but there may be a special set of hoops you have to jump through to get a linux system works properly in a vmware guest.

ANY ideas?  I am at a loss and unfortunately am not at all a linux expert.

I think that comments firewall is turn on. Try to stop it and then try connecting to another customer. $/etc/init.d/SuSEfirewall2 stop or find the firewall script in /etc/init.d

  • Satellite L500 - no possibility to connect to the local network

    Hello

I'm new to these forums so please accept my apologies if I don't use the terminology correct tech.

I have a Toshiba L500 laptop satellite. It of ok, but had to make the hard drive replaced recently (under warranty) as she died. I had been using a wireless network before I had to have the drive replaced and now trying to connect to a local network using a cable, but there is no device?

Now, I don't know when this became a question - before or after replacing the hard drive. Not only has he failed to drive hard, but has so the speakers, so I wonder if the LAN device is just another thing that has failed.

I understand that there are two components to the unit - the hardware and software. I learned that the material may have failed.

Does anyone know how to get back the unit so that I can plug my computer on a local network and internet access? No, the device isn't in the network adapters. I don't know how to get it back.

    > I have the replaced disk and now I'm trying to connect to a local network using a cable, but there is no device?
Have you tried reinstalling the driver LAN?

Remember that the network driver is installed correctly you should check this in the device-> network cards Manager.
In this category the LAN card and wireless network card required!

If you're going to see some yellow exclamation points, so this means that a driver is missing or is not working properly and this means that you must remove/uninstall the driver, and after new restarts, the driver needs to be installed once more

    Please check this!

  • HOWTO connect to AP internal to the outside world?

    Hello experts,

I have a Cisco 881w router, which has an integrated WLAN access point. This access point functions as a separate module, so I have to fill the two VLANS (normal LAN and WLAN). Basically, it works fine:

    • NAT to Internet works from two subnets (LAN and WLAN)
    • rattling of the works from clients in WIFI for customers of local network
    • rattling of the works from clients in LAN to WIFI customers
    • Ping works from clients in WIFI to any interrace on router
    • rattling of the works from the clients of any interface on the router LAN

The only problem now is that when I am connected via command-line (CLI) interface directly to the AP (in order to upgrade the firmware), I can't access any host outside and inside of the router - even, I can't ping the internal interfaces of the router or IP addresses.

Any ideas what I'm missing here?

I have attached two configs (router and internal AP module) to this message.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Best regards, Matthias

    Matthias,

The AP would look like this:

    !
    interface Dot11Radio0.1
    encapsulation dot1Q 1 native
    no ip route cache
    Bridge-Group 1
    !
    interface Dot11Radio0.10
    encapsulation dot1Q 10
    no ip route cache
    Bridge-group 10

    !
    interface GigabitEthernet0
Description the GigabitEthernet incorporated AP 0 is an internal interface connecting AP with the host router
    no ip address
    no ip route cache
    !
    interface GigabitEthernet0.1
    encapsulation dot1Q 1 native
    no ip route cache
    Bridge-Group 1
    !
    interface GigabitEthernet0.10
    encapsulation dot1Q 10
    no ip route cache
    Bridge-group 10
    !
    interface BVI1
    IP 192.168.0.253 255.255.255.0
    no ip route cache
    !

To clean things up, you can also remove all the "encryption vlan 1' under the radio interface."  The other bridge-group instructions that are there now will automatically be added when you configure the bridge under void interfaces group.

Also, don't forget to change the vlan native on the interface of the trunk on the side of the router.

    Thank you

    Lee

Since the pix inside interface not to receive any request for telnet/ftp. I suspect that the pc that initiated the session has an incorrect default gateway or default gateway no route to point to the 192.168.2.0/24 subnet.

in other words, it points to another device as the default gateway (for example, the internet router) and yet this device has no route to the pix for subnet 192.168.2.0/24.
