Is it possible to copy a Blu ray to my iTunes library?

I want to copy my blu ray to my iTunes library. Is this possible?

iTunes has a feature to "Rip" video disc, as it does for music CDs.

It is possible, but it requires conversion of the movie disc, which is considered illegal.  Therefore, it is not a topic appropriate for the discussion forum Apple owns and operates.

  • Import a blu - ray video preserving 6 audio tracks

I was instructed to make a tribute to a particular film by a studio, and they sent me a copy of blu - ray film.  I want to be able to import the film in first pro preserving 6 audio tracks on the Panel of audio editing so I hope that I can isolate some dialogue that has music in the background.  I ripped the video on my hard drive with makemkv and when I compress the video to mp4 with handbrake it is important only the audio as a channel.  If I try and import the raw m2ts file it is important the video but no sound at all.  I have seen torrents of rip blu ray in the past when you import into pro audio first appears as 6-7 titles so I know it's possible.

the audio must be in a format supported first. Adobe Premiere Pro help. Supported file formats if audio is not in one of these formats, use Handbrake or one program of choice to convert. AAC and ac3 are popular choices for 5.1 surround sound.

Once imported for the first time, if you want to change the audio, it's easier to split the audio in 6 mono tracks, vs. the default behavior of the first fall audio 5.1 track. to change to mono, find the audio or video clip in the project bin, right-click, choose Edit and audio channels. then change the preset 'use the file' in 'mono '. now, when you put the sound on the timeline, it must divide up to 6 tracks, for easy editing.

    Hello

I'm afraid that the optical drive of your laptop does not support playback of Blu Ray.  That support the Blu Ray readers generally, BD under the number of the device.

It is possible. My Panasonic blu - ray player play. Files MTS on the SD card on my TM700 AVCHD camcorder, but I can send the SD card (via my pc) edited movies, instead of burn them on DVD and get the player to play?

If so, does anyone know the export settings to use?

    Thank you

N ° Panny BR players support all formats of TM700. Weird, but reality.

    Just use BR to export.

  • A Blue Ray disc with a digital copy of the film sends me to a page to update Media Player security, but the button updated it does not work

I bought a 3-disc Blu - ray Star Trek film set.  The 3rd disc is a DVD-ROM with a digital copy of the film, for transfer to a PC.  When I try the transfer, there is a message saying update Windows Media Player to my system with the functions of security necessary to play protected content.  Then a link in the transfer of Star Trek dialog box sends me to http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp where there is a button to upgrade.  But it is faded, as when a disabled function is grayed out...  If clicked, the button will not activate.  What should do?

I ran Windows Update and updates was not available in Media Player.  I have Windows 7 Starter on a netbook Gateway

1/2 hour later, well, what do you know?  After many attempts and refresh in Internet Explorer, the upgrade button finally loaded and worked.  Problem solved.  Transferred film and plays very well.

  • XPS 420 Blu Ray does not play because of the HDCP copy protection

My powerDVD program displays an error 0110 that she cannot enable HDCP encryption and stop play on blu ray movies using the DVI - D connection. Plays well with VGA cable. Video card Radeon 2400 with the last driver and is HDCP. Monitor is 2408WFP and is supposed to be HDCP DVI port. Windows XP Service pack 3.

Blu - ray player plays 5 seconds of video correctly with DVI connection but then stops due to copy protection. I lowered the resolution (1920 X 1200 to 720 resolution vertical and the lowest was 800 X 600), installed the latest drivers, reinstalled the PowerDVD program supplied with the Dell computer.

CyberLink has an Advisor on Blu ray and it indicates that the video connection is NOT HDCP (the monitor). Everything happened. I am aware of the program AnyDVD HD but prefer not to have to buy.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

    Hello

I doubt that this is possible because Bluray discs are mostly protected against copying.
But if you have the Bluray m2ts file on your HARD drive, then you could try the tool called convertXtodvd. But I don't see that the reasons for this
I mean that you will lose the quality of film converting the blueray to dvd.

Or the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer-"Death At A Funeral" out June 2011 or "Human Planet" BBC publication April 2011, have been reported as non-playable for the BDV-E300. Previews play and just errors on the film itself? or are these two tracks totally unplayable.

We sent two titles of these problems of gameplay for review. We offer you to test with another copy of the title even if possible, if one bought recently.

  • SOUL Blu - Ray h.264 transcoding of 19 GB files.  Still showing project 47GB size?

I'm working on a blu - ray for the first time (he has worked only on DVD before) and when I finished the video files in the first, I exported with SOUL using it's built in h.264 Blu - Ray profile (1080i 29.97 FPS).  Resulting, audio, and video files were 19 GB in size.  However, when I imported as active in still, he says the project's 47 GB!  I have read around and found others mentioning a bit similar problems, but they were nowhere near the scale and do not appear to be the same problem I encounter.

The files are all automatically the value "do not transcode" so I'm sure he's not transcoding them trying, and I only have a timeline (I had read every line of the time creates additional multimedia files, IE: if I copy and paste a timeline with 10 GB of media, the second timeline will take 10 GB additional space on the final image).  So I have no idea how in the world he could possibly be coming with such a weird size for the project.  It's just at a few concerts, it is more than twice the size of the real media. I have no idea what is going on, but there is no reason I should have need of a double disc layer when blu - ray ready files are well below the size of disc single layer of GBs 23-24.

Someone at - it ideas?  Thank you!

Chapters are not a problem. Each video on his own script. Each end action of timeline of the "last menu."

  • First Adobe elements 12 - export ready the chronology of the project, the AVCHD files in a separate folder for burning on Blu Ray disc with other software?

Hi, can anyone help please.  This is the first time I've used this forum.

I use the first 12 items, a PC, 64-bit, Windows 7, to high power.

Just started to hack AVCHD in this software.

I would like to know if it is possible to export topped with AVCHD files in a folder somewhere else (which were imported in the project calendar), so that I can burn AVCHD trimmed (not in the form of a 'project') of Blu Ray disc files (using another software that I know that works to burn video files to Blu Ray disc).

    Kathy

There is no export of Premiere Elements (any version) which will give you a file extensions .m2ts or. MTS. .M2ts and .mts are extensions of file that represents the container format that envelope the AVCHD video, and any audio compression file has.

The .mp4 should serve your purpose... destiny using the file to burn it to Blu - ray disc format on say Blu - ray, copy the disc Blu - ray and edition BDMV folder video file in the file/STREAM BDMV folder (which is a .m2ts file).

But what we could try (think it will work) to work around the problem

    1. export your Timeline with the publication + share/computer/AVCHD with presets = MP4 H.264 1920 x 1080 p 25.

    2. to the hard disk of the export of this mp4 saving location, then simply rename the mp4 to MTS or m2ts file extension.

If you send this file to burn it to the disc Blu - ray to Blu - ray disc format, double check that this person software supports import of .m2ts and. MTS.

Is the recipient of this emphasis on mts or m2ts file?

Please read and review, maybe try it like a mini series of tests.  Feel free to ask if you have any questions about the foregoing.

  • Problems with the pop-up menus of blu - ray

I made the mistake of pointing this issue/problem on another similar post so here is still for some:

I got this error message at the end of the generation of disc:

Blu - ray error: "fatal error". Code: "6", notes: "the Graphics buffer overruns. & #8232; -not multiplex with maximum IG PTS: 54900000 (in 90kHz).

I'm working on blu - ray is a live concert of 87 min with about 8 other much shorter deadlines.  The main menu has 6 buttons with a background of movement.  There are a few sub-menus as well, but the problem came when I started to make the context menus for the different timelines.

It is the first project where I had to really explore the possibliltes and limitations of context menus again.  I burned a disc to test with just a pop-up menu base to see what the opacity of the menu would look over the final video.  All video assets were installed to transcode "automatically".  All the audio supports are blu - ray compatible ac3 Surround or stereo WAV 16 bit so could be left as "not transcode.  This disc perfectly.

I then went through the process involved enough to make a final version of the main menus pop up.  Context menu of the main concert is 5 pages (including page 0).  There are specific menus of other timelines, but those who have no more than 2 pages.  None of the menus have more than 10 keys.

I tried to burn the disc, and he returned with the above error.  After reading other posts, I thought that it was worth trying to remove the AuthorScriptHDMVSessions file before you start a new burn because it was already filled with files from my test burn.  That did not help.

Any idea or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

After countless tests and research, I finally have a blu - ray burned successfully with several contextual menus pages (that satisfies me) work.  Thanks to all who gave the theoretical orientation and suggestions in emails and other messages.  There had been no shortage of quirks and obstacles to overcome in trying just to make a blu - ray player.  Unfortunately, I don't have the time to identify precisely what was causing the error message.  The project just has to be.

Main popup menu has 4 pages, with 13 buttons on each page.  Only about 5-9 on the "buttons" on each page are buttons that have a link anywhere.  The other buttons on each page only serve the remaining substantive pieces of the menu and are not accessible on the final drive.  Totally ridiculous how to make backgrounds for menus, but it works.

Among other things I've learned about the menus pop - up + more misc:

    1. If possible, quite create a menu .psd before you import it into a project yet.  Create the button order in the .psd you want that he will eventually be the end (the bottom layer is 1 key).  If you edit and resave order once it has been brought, yet almost always return it to some strange order of buttons (possibly original).  You will spend all your time to re-routing of navigation button and change their numbers, only to discover later that even changed any return without notice.

    2. as many people of State, preferred to have still to make a reflection as little as possible  All my button groups initially had text layers in their breast with some fx applied.  I have merged each text layer down in the bottom layer of this button to essentially rasterize the text with the fx applied.  Each (+) group button so only was a Higlight and a background layer.  After doing this for all the buttons, the .psd file size is greatly reduced.  Naturally, I've saved a copy before you go through the process of merger where I never had to go back and change the text.

    3. originally, the background for the menus were made to cut out a rectangle of the background of the main menu.  It was the width of the frame and about 1/5 of the height.  I had changed the opacity to around 60% and cut the pieces to go with their respective button.  For the final disc, I just did a shape with the rounded and filled with solid color Rectangle tool.  It's likely that about half the size of the pop-up menu original background.  I changed its opacity as well, but then he merges with a layer of white so still didn't have to think about the opacity setting.

    4. I encoded all the video elements BEFORE they were brought into the project.  There are some problems with how the sizes of the files are interpreted by yet, but I will not trust him to encode anything again.

    5. for some reason any still wants to transcode 16 bits, .aiff files .wav files, 48.0 kHz by a blu - ray, but 16-bit 48.0 kHz do NOT need Trancoder (for DVD and blu - ray).

  • Blu - Ray content to adapt to the available space

I made my first disc blu - ray in PreEl, and I tried to add as many raw video clips exported from my Canon Vixia HF200 as space on the disk.  On sharing-> Blu - Ray settings, it says the space required is 22,89 GB and I then checked the box 'Fit the content space', who changed space necessary to 23.30 GB.  The disc came out ok, but I discovered it there about 7 GB has been neglected, and it is visually clear that the burner has not used the last 1/2 in. or more space at the bottom of the disc.

Is there a better way to try to use all the available disk space?  In this case, my goal is to archive as many original video files on a disc as possible.  However, I tried to group together them and add menu markers, so I don't end up with 200 + chapters on the disc.

I intend actually edit and create more videos in the future, but for now, I think in terms of getting several hours video ofHD on my hard drive and make multiple copies of backup to blu - ray discs.

    Neale,

    At least that things have changed, and this could be by version or a difference between BD and DVD-Video, pre uses a system of transcoding VBR 2 pass. This means that measures of pre what he thinks that the size will be, and then runs the first passes. This passage basically the query in the timeline of samples and stores the data to be used in the next pass. Then, on the second pass, this info is used to assign a flow rate higher in parts of the high movement and low flow to areas less motion. It is not until the pre is entirely with the second passage, she knows for sure how big the file will be, as the flow will be changed as needed throughout the process;

MultiPass transcoding is how Hollywood gave so much material of high quality on a DVD or BD. It is a transcoding software might make 9-Passes, or even more and then the operator can tweak things like requires it. This translates a variable rate which is the ultimate for all segments of the Timeline - not 1 Mbps more than necessary and very high at the best possible rate for keep than smooth movement. Never too and never too little. So a Goldie Locks situation and executed by highly qualified professionals, who do nothing else throughout the day, using a software program that costs more than a Mercedes E-class.

Regarding the BD data, we're not transcoding to produce that. If there is no transcoding, it would be the first made by the user, and then the files resulting would be simply copied to the disc BD-Data. As you say, we calculate the number of files, both their size and which subtract capacity, more adding or subtracting some, to fill in the data of the comic.
