  I understand that you like to limit the volume on your iPad so that it cannot be increased beyond a certain point. Fortunately Restrictions allows you to set a volume limit that requires an access code to remove.   The way it can be done is to interview customers who are connected to the VI through a remote façade.  When you do that, you close the connection to anyone, but the first person who connected to the façade.  In this way, if someone is running the VI, no one else can connect.  Once they are made, someone else can then connect to the remote façade.  I created an example illistrates community this behavior.  You can find it here:

  Consequence: my host's firewall blocks my IP automatically, because he thinks I'm trying to hack into their systems.

  My friend's son is autistic and loves its iPads, the bad news is that he likes to full volume.  And while he will turn them down on request, 5 seconds later it has in turn it back to 100%.  I've seen an app that limits the volume, but it is awkward and should be run to have any effect.

  I have, as I'm guessing that MANY other iOS users would like TO see a limit speaker volume in the parameter s iPad app.  I think that would benefit users amy especially how the iPad is spread in schools and people with special needs who could not enjoy or know what means reasonable volume level.

  Amol, I could filter the users and rendered all property, but they would add more users in the future, and this change would require the amendment of the code and therefore recompile

  You can create a list of choices and store valid usernames here.

  And in the application process first enter the username.

  User String = pageContext.getUsername ();

  Now check whether or not this user is in this search

  Create a prepared statemnt as select count (*) in the fnd_lookups where lookup_type = 'test' and lookup_code =: 1

  then pass the user name as lookup_code.

  If count > o which means that there is a row, and then set made by property...

  In this way, you have no need to recompile any code... just add new values in search of...
