• RH9 files don't get renamed when you rename the project

  I need to change the names of a few projects. I went to file > rename projectand changed one of their names. I chose the new name to display in the header and said Robohelp to create a new directory with the new name.

  As I'm looking in the project, I noticed that the default Index names and the table of contents by default have not changed.

  Where can I change these?

  I had to think about it for a minute because Peter does not specifically indicate I have to right click. I didn't do it in Windows Explorer to the file level, which was what I assumed he meant. • How to rename the JAD file to eclipse MIDlet name

  To have the "MIDlet-Name" of the renowned JAD property, you will need to rename the project. Output file names can be changed via the BlackBerry_App_Descriptor.xml > Build (tab) > name of the output file (field).

• File name associations give up when changing the name of the project

  Post on behalf of a colleague. It uses Robohelp X 5 on a Windows XP computer.
  
  «We have many occasions where we need to take an existing online help (ABC_001, for example) of the project, to make a few changes/additions/omissions and publish a revised draft (ABC_002) online help.» We were cloning the aid project existing (ABC_001), rename the project to make the changes necessary for the aid project, adding or removing map ID in as necessary .hh files, import revised files .hh as needed and then releasing the project under the new name. We want to maintain the assignments and identification card numbers (25ANG1, map #: 640, file name: check the synchronism #25ANG1) ABC_001 to ABC_002, but the file name associations of abandonment when we change the name of the project. So, it is a laborious process to go through the list and reassign all subjects for the appropriate file names.   "I discovered that it requires just one step more in the project to help until I can see the associations/alias name file again. I have recompile, Colum recommended, but then I have to close RoboHelp and reopen the project. So, if I'm in the project view and access the context-sensitive Help/card Files/All ID card, I see all file name associations. Thank you, Colum, for your help! »

• Change the name of the project that is used on the server of RoboHelp for reactive HTML5

  I use Adobe 2015 to publish Responsive HTML5 in RoboHelp Server 10.

  When I publish the project, it seems to name the file, the name of the project. So, if my project is named Cool_Blue, he the published under Cool_Blue. Is anyway to change this name? I know that WebHelp Pro you can set the name differently. I've looked everywhere and can't find how to do, so any help would be appreciated.

  Nita, I think what you're trying to do is change the name of the project in a shorter file name while in general, you will have the shortest paths. If this is the case, you must simply renaming the project, then delete leftovers from the project a longer name on RoboHelp Server and you are home free.

  So, if you want to change the name of the project (rather than the name in the 'bar' of the browser, you must change the project name by going to > file > rename project)

  So looking at your screenshot posted previously, the CIE would be to use sensitive available, but it could appear as

  I add the following text because there was some confusion because of new workflow in RoboHelp 2015 and the new RoboHelp Server 10.

  With regard to the "naming" confusion I'll try to decompress it. There has been some changes in the publication of things since the release of RoboHelp (2015) and, now, RoboHelp Server 10. For example:

  1. What we once called "Single Source Layouts' (SSL), we now call for 'outputs (SSL).
  2. It used to be that if you have been published on a Server of RoboHelp, it was mandatory to use an exit called WebHelp Pro.
  3. WebHelp Pro is still alive and well and can be used to publish in RoboHelp Server 10.
     EXCEPT when you want to publish sensitive HTML5 content to the new RoboHelp Server 10.
  4. In this case, if you post the more modern layout Responsive HTML5 option, it is appropriate to use a sensitive of HTML5 (SSL) output and select a HTML5 compatible screen available in the Pod to set up output.

  I need to create an instance of my RoboHelp project. Is there a function as save as or save the project under.

  Copy the Windows directory, open in RoboHelp and rename the project on the file menu.

• Why can't I rename my project?

  Hi all
  We have recently upgraded to RH6 and its version control. (I guess that version control is the reason why I can't rename my project).
  However, the technology installed RH6 put the side Server and local project on my PC and he asks questions. One is that the name of the project server matches the local copy is no longer and it seems to be confusing for other people in the office. And the second, is that I can't rename my project at all. I need to be able to rename the project at the end of each month with the current month in the name.
  UH... does make sense? If so, is - anyone can suggest a solution?

  Sounds like 'the tech installed RH6' needs to rectify this point; It does seem like an HR issue.

  In addition, if you're going to be rename project every month, why even bother with the source code control? I think you would be better served simply copy your source for folders separated for each month and get back up daily or weekly.

  I support the Prime Minister and a video that is 720 x 300

  Thanks for the update.

  We are both on the same line on dealing with what you think to be a 640 x 360, 16:9, and to do so in a Premiere Elements project without the consequences of black borders.

  However, details to sort out when you tell me that you get huge black borders when you import this file to 16:9 in a 16:9 project.

  If you set the project preset manually, have you thought about putting a check mark next to the "Force selected setting on this project' in the new project dialog box? Did you follow the path...

  • Open the project in the workspace Expert and go to file menu/new project and change the settings.
  • In the settings, set the project preset to match the properties of the source media. OK to get out of there.
  • In the dialog box new project opens, rename the project and make sure you have a checkmark next to the "Force selected setting on this project." OK to get out of there.
  • In the Expert workspace, import your media source by using Add Media / choice.

  Excuse the request, but not to take anything acquired to speed things up, have you confirmed your 640 x 360, 16:9 for this particular import with program outside of Premiere Elements?

  Please read the above, and then we will try to determine what happens with this file.

• Outside the project Error Message

  In Robohelp 9, when you have a link that is outside the project (not a link that connects to a separate CHM file), but a link that is the link to a topic that does not exist in the project, there is an error message displays indicating something in the sense that 'file name' is outside the project and do not appear in the project manager (I don't remember the exact message but I sure some of you saw).

  There is also a checkbox on this message that allows you to view these warnings. I accidentally clicked it, apparently, that this message is display is no longer. It should be the display of a project every time it loads since there is a link that is outside of the project itself. Is there a way to turn it on this message so that it displays?

  Tools > Options > general and select the reset all button. As its name suggests, it will restore all the warning messages that you disabled so you will have to disabled them again as they pop up.

  Engineers also writes a blog on why they made this change, but to prevent millions of calls to support technical questions "I renamed my file and now it no longer opens.
  It might be possible to change this behavior with editing the registry, but I couldn't immediately find a reference to such a value.
  However, I have a workaround.  I usually press F2 to rename a file (I'm a lover of keyboard, hate having to use the mouse).  So I click on F2, then if I need to select both file extension, I can make one of these:
  • Press Ctrl-A
    or
  • Press SHIFT - end

  I generally use the method of shift - end because it's closer where my fingers are already on the keyboard (I'm a lover of keyboard, but I'm too lazy).  Hope this helps at least a little.

• Rename the name of the connection Wireless in Windows 8

  In Windows 7, it was possible to change the name of the wireless connection to something meaningful (what a concept). For example my home wireless with ssid xxxxxxxx be named home wireless. When I connected to the Office Wireless (with a ssid of yyyyyyyy) he would be named Office Wireless.

  This seems to be is no longer possible in Windows 8. Microsoft is way too much fun playing silly blighters. They have really taken to a whole new level with this OS.

  After much research I found how to rename a wired connection, but not wireless. For the life of me I can't figure out how to do this.

  Maybe what you are looking for requires you to access the registry to make the name change.

  HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles

  Browse the list of profiles to find the one that you need, and then change the value of string ProfileName.

  You can also do this when you change wireless cards and to reconnect to the same network and the connection then presents itself as 'name 2 Wireless' or ' wireless 3 "instead of just"wireless name' name, you can delete old profiles of the same name, and then rename the current without the number on the end. "

  After changes simply refresh your list of network connections to view the changes.

  As always, changes in the register are not advised, so with caution, take a backup before you change etc etc.

  I'm new to LR and would like to know if it is possible to rename the name of the file in LR 5 (after the import of images) without changing the name of the original file in the EXIF metadata? For example, the name of the original file is DSC_1234.NEF and I would like to rename it to "Hawaii_1234.NEF" in the catalog, as well as the name of the file on the HARD disk, but woud like to keep the original "DSC_1234.NEF" in the metadata.

  It seems that LR also renames file name in metadata if I read earlier rename after import (through the library - option Rename pictures) will not change the name of 'original' file in the metadata.

  Hmm - confusing...

  I mean, Lr going to keep "DSC_1234.NEF" as the piece of metadata named "Original file name", after you rename the file "Hawaii_1234.NEF". The 'current' file name, in the metadata, will of course be the new file name (Hawaii_1234.NEF).
