  It seems that if you have a permissions problem. If your username is not a member of the oinstall group, he or she has no access to the necessary sql * more files. I recommend you read MOS 420083.1 Note for a more in-depth discussion to set the file permissions on the Oracle home.

I wish that only certain user accounts on my laptop and desktop PC in order to access some user accounts on the other machine. I.e. "Sally" account user on my laptop only access account user 'Sally' on my desktop PC and vice versa. Rather than user account 'Sally' on laptop or desktop PC being able to access 'Martin' account on laptop or desktop PC.

  In other words, I wish that every Member of the family must be able to connect to my laptop or my desktop PC and access their files that are stored on the desktop originally.

• Is it possible to have a common accessible file location for the main application in the sandbox and its extension app plugin

  I'm trying to launch an app on the app store for mac. The bundle of the main application and everything inside it is on sandbox.

  The main application Bundle identifier is com.xxx.core.app . The identifier for the internal Plugin Finder Extension application Bundle is com.xxx.core.app.extensions .

  Now the problem is the extension inner finder is also available in sand and trying to read a file written by the main application.

  The main application writes the file location depending on mac OS X, for example temp/var/folder/jv11743453495593/T/com.xxx.core.app

  But the internal Plugins try to read/var/folder/jv11743453495593/T/com.xxx.core.app/extensions

  Because of the different bundle identifiers, they have different containers.

  Can someone let me know how to limit the same application and its plugins to the same folder location. Does perform a work around for this problem.

  You must create a group that your container can access. I'm not 100% certain that this will work with extensions of Finder, but it seems the most logical place to start.

  Well, you should try to activate the rights for the TACSPROP.exe.
  To do this, you must enter the operating system as an administrator.
  Choose the application, right click. There is a Security tab. Here, you need to activate the permissions for all users.

• Old access portable hard drive which had the windows user password

  My old laptop's motherboard is fried.  I took the hard drive and put in the case of the speaker.  want to access the files on the old hard drive but it was password protected.  How can I get rid of this password or be able to access the hard disk?  Thank you

  You can't install a program on the old hard drive to the new hard drive and expect it to work. You must install the program on your new computer and open the data from there. It does not matter that the old installation of Windows has been protected by. It also does not matter if you have UAC enabled for the old installation of Windows or not. The only place it's important is the new installation of Windows which you are working. If you still do not have the data , you need - not the programs - within your new installation of Windows, start the new computer with a Live Linux CD (Knoppix or Ubuntu) and copy the data to your new hard drive. Linux will not honor Windows permissions.

  If you still cannot understand this, consider the computer and the drive to a local professional reputable (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place). They will be able to get your data easily.

  We have recently installed EMP 11.1.2.2 and also, we apply the patches for 11.1.2.2.306. But after applying the updated fix: 13905088, we are not able to see forms, lists of tasks of eating and my task lists. Instead, we are able to see "access denied" message for the same thing. When we drove back the same patch set 13905088 that the problem is solved, so I reapplied the same patch and we get the same error. Please provide us with a way out so that we can go further.

  I solved the problem.

  There was a precondition for the restart of WeblogicServer and redeployment, the Web server. I was immobilized and then it restarts and then redeploy who created this issue as planning server has been not get properly deployed.

  Solution: I restarted the weblogic server and kept in working order and then I transferred the web server.

  This solved my problem.

• Is it possible to use a Type of personalized content for the REST service operation messages?

  I try to POST to the third party, documentum of EMC, REST service using service broker in 8.53 peopletools integration operations. Unfortunately, the third party only accepts a content type of 'application/vnd.emc.documentum+json', which I could not send PeopleSoft and use a message definition at the same time.

  In my service operation, if I do NOT fill the request message I can POST to the URI with the such custom content type defined in the property page of the connector in the routing. I have not found a way to do it and also present JSON content on demand, since there is no message associated with the operation. Is it possible to include in this type of message content without using a request message?

  If I DO not fill the request message I can't POST successfully because the message content-type of "application/json" gets passed as the content-type instead of the value in the property page of the connector from the routing. Is it possible to change the content type during the use of a message definition?

  Hi Paul - you can turn on tracing by using the on demand connection as follows:

  1. on the routing set detail header and detail "journal".

  2. Main Menu > PeopleTools > Integration Broker > Service Operations Monitor > Administration > control installation Options

  -Enable logging of the bridge

  -On the registration of demand = 5 (to enable detailed logging)

  Note: On request connection only works for the outgoing synchronous Services. In this case, we should be fine. You will find the by transaction log file on your gateway web server... / applications/peoplesoft/PSIGW.war/WEB-INF/.

  I did it for one of the REST service operations my test (I'm on 8.52.22). I have my content type of message the value application/json to the operation of the service page. On the routing page, I added a connector property content-type=application/vnd.emc.documentum+json.

  I'm working on a similar project at this moment where I'm integrating perceptual Nolij Web RESTful API (Document Management System). I had to resort to using a http client base (common of apache) java instead of broker of integration because of the similar frustrations with REST (cookies are lost, unable to deal with raw binary data in a response message, etc.).

  Benefits: Java provides total flexibility.

  Cons: As we are bypassing framework Integration Broker, we need everything (error handlng, logging, etc.) do it ourselves.

  My question is, although quite stupid, that double

  (1) I have to change the permissions of the directory oracle of 755 for any other user to access the sqlplus?

  (2) why is the user directory under the folder created with permissions of 700, even when the umask is set to 002? Change the permissions of the directory under/Home oracle will cause security problems?

  Actually, the default procedure is NOT to install oracle to X11R6, but in/opt/oracle. or maybe/usr/local/oracle.

  This is what you're going to be recommended in the installation documentation, and in doing so, don't forget to run rootpre.sh and root.sh, I never had security problems and could run Oracle from any account.

  You want Smart Guides to work this way, but this isn't an option in InDesign for the Smart Guides preferences. Here are four options you can choose or not choose in preferences > Guides & table editing. Application to Master objects is not one of the choices:

  I've seen several threads on hide the C: drive to restrict the overall use of the C: drive, but I'm on a mission to survey about whether you can limit the C: drive but still be able to write files to it.  We currently do not allow any executable to be run from a USB key and so sometimes users are required to move the file to the C: drive and run. We currently need to who have implemented, but not not allow the user create a folder and download or save files on the C: drive. My original logic in this is not that because you'd have to restrict by file type, but I could be wrong and would like the entry to a person with a thorough knowledge of Windows 7 that may be able to tell me if this is actually possible. It is very easy to do with Citrix, but I'm trying to understand if this is achievable on a local machine toed. Is it possible to allow only .exe files to write in c driver: on a per user basis?   Create an IP address based in the Group NAR relavent ACS, make a "permit" and specify the name of the NDG, this group is allowed access.

  Firstly, right click and select ' entire representation (i.e. U8), and then right click then select data entry. Uncheck "use default limits" and enter the desired range.
