  Turn the router off

  then press reset button and return power

  Press the reset button for the router to start up... and then open the browser

  router must be in management mode.

  then wrote dd - wrt VxWorksKiller-G2V1 - new.bin (original firmware does not work I try!... but maybe you happier)

  After this router reboot (power cable reconnect)

  and wrote the firmware dd - wrt.v24_micro_generic.bin main by tftp

  cd /d tftp.exe -i 192.168.1.1 PUT dd-wrt.v24_micro_generic.bin
  

  After that reboot the Router 2 times - (reconnecting the power cable)

  and do 1 hard reset (30-30-30 method)

  I searched the forum and cannot find a question like the problem I have.

  I tried to set up my WRT54G2 and everything seems ok.  Installation work and the computer recognizes that the network is there.  But it provides no signal on my computer, if I connect directly or wireless.  The problem seems to be with the WRT54G2, and maybe it's a malfunction.

  I run my DSL connection via a Motorola Netopia 2210-02 ADSL2 + and connect the WRT54G2 to this unit.  what I notice is that the 'activity' of my Netopia camera light does not illuminate when the WRT54G2 is connected.  This is true if I try to use the WRT54G2 wireless or wired directly to the computer.

  Does anyone know if this is likely to be a problem with a broken unit?  Or is it an installation problem?  As I said, I didn't have no problem whatsoever under Setup and the computer recognizes that the WRT54G2 sends a signal, it is enough to connect to the internet.

  I wanted to thank you for your help.  The problem has been resolved.  I simply had to change the IP address of 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1 and all my problems have been resolved.

  You may lose everything.  iMessage, like most e-mail services, don't keep permanently undeliverable messages.  They only keep in the short period send queue (I don't know exactly how much time but some Apple tech sites indicate no more than 10 days to two weeks) until they are purged.  That's pretty standard as otherwise, large volume, messaging services would be sitting on tera-bytes of messages not delivered each month.
