  I just did mine 01/01/2016, installed a new WD 500 GB HDD black on my laptop ASUS K52F, took my DVD 4 restore disks and restored to Win 7 Home Premium, more 10 Windows, which is sitting on my old HDD in the trash. I'll stick with my Original OEM OS and never improve to WIN 10 times.

  1. Welcome to the family. AE is big, very big. It's hard. Really hard. Not sure how hard AE is learr and master.

  2. no time limit is good, but you will need the money.

  3. This is not a forum of Blender. You want to discover the film, CGI and Blender own forums for this kind of assistance.

  4 AE is for your compositing and special effects. But you will need to learn how both apps work until you decide how to distribute your project. A comparison would be shooting your film. Using a digital SLR? Do you know why? Or do you use a GoPro? Another example may be Apple Final Cut Pro. You can edit the audio in it, but it is preferable to use an audio application. You can do special effects in FCP but it is better to do complex things in motion for After Effects. How can you know what app is appropriate a lot of experience. Many failures.

  I bought membership unique creative cloud for after Effects (one month to the next) and installed it but it only works as long as the trial version. When I log in the Help menu of After Effect it shows me how many days left in the trial and then when I click on license this software button said no subscription found. When I connect my Adobe account plans and products page under link of products online there is no product saved on my account and under manage map link can I see my billing history and payment details but I do not see the active devices.

• One by one my plugins After Effects stop working, even after reinstalling AE

  It is a strange.

  I got several plugins for After Effects crash and die in a row now. It started with one and it starts to look like a failure of plugins to work in the latest After Effects - even after their updating and reinstalling AE completely.

  What happens is the following; a plugin starts to give an error at startup (or same æ crashing completely). Can I remove the panels (or even from the folder scripts completely). The program works very well for another day or so with other plugins installed and anchored in the panels.

  The next day, another plugin no longer throw up another mistake of his own.

  No update or changes since, except using AE for hours.

  The cycle repeats; I remove this plugin, continue to use AE (feature slowly lose this way) and then the next day fails a few other plugins...

  There may be a third culprit somewhere, it might even be Java associate? Since there were a few updates in recent weeks?

  But this is the behavior I've seen so far. It's like a slow systemic breakdown and I don't know how to stop it. Purchased same plugins became useless for me.

  Anyone else knows a similar behavior? Or someone who has experience?

  The problem is the plugin related.

  It turns out that the fb-toolbar plugin had a bug which caused its preferences file massively inflate (600 MB +). Of course, it was not supposed to happen. I spoke with the developer of this plugin and everything's hunkydory now. Thank you!

• After effects CS5 work on first Pro CC?

  I've been flip flop on the idea of the CC for awhile now. I'm really looking for subscribing to first Pro CC just because of the ability of the chain stabilizer. I currently don't mess around too deep anyway with After Effects, but I'd be able to use my CS5 After Effects with CC first? Or would I need to get the complete suite?

  Also is there any project known doing them a special production just as how they package photography for?

  You can use CS5 'by' CC, they just don't fit with the other. Things like DynamicLink never work on the same level of version for simple technical reasons and CS5 simply did not have many of these features to start, we're talking essentially completely separate workflows where everything is transferred only as renderings clips.

  Assuming you are using a 64-bit version of Windows.

  AE is a 32-bit application.

  In preferences, there is a setting for the memory and multiprocessor.

  Check that out and it will be wrong on the 32-bit limitation by launching several nodes rendering AE.

  However, this setting seems to come with its own problems of stability, in my case anyway.

• Can Adobe do an After Effects just for 32 bit

  I have a 32-bit and I was wondering if Adobe could make a 32-bit version of After Effects. I know that After Effects cs4 work for 32, but I want to most recent.

  AE needs a lot of RAM to work. 32-bit operating systems cannot access more than 4 GB of memory total system. This means that, if you have a tiny GPU has only 512 MB of video memory on this subject and that your computer has 4 GB of RAM installed, your system see about 3.5 GB of RAM.

  AE needs 4 GB of RAM minimum to run (I think 8 GB is the minimum to use actually reasonably).

  It is impossible to make a 32-bit version unless they created a whole new piece of software that could live with less than 4 GB of RAM. And it would go really slowly and nobody likes him. So, as Rick says, you are flat out of luck unless you upgrade. It's pretty cheap (or free) to build a 64-bit operating system, so, you know, you can do it.

  Depending on what you do the SOUL can be slower than using index rendering, but that's the only thing that you must use to make H.264 files.

  When you send a model to the SOUL a virtual copy of this composition that is the source for this rendering. You can continue to work on the same computer and additional changes but if you want these changes appears you will need to send this model to the SOUL again after making the changes.

  Almost without exception, I'm working on plans not and certainly never movies sequences in After Effects. My average computer is probably seven seconds, my average film is probably 30 minutes so I use AE to work on plans for effects which cannot be treated in my NLE. I almost always send a model to the SOUL to render a h.264 or a suitable production master, or both, and then I continue working in AE because I can't afford to wait for a rendering time. On almost all of it is the more efficient workflow.

  Your screenshot shows that After Effects is thankful your GPU very well. The OpenGL section shows that OpenGL works normally. AMD cards like yours have CUDA, so the CUDA section is empty and the ray-tracing section (which depends on CUDA) shows the same.

  Don't worry CUDA; It is used only for an obsolete feature, the 3D rendering engine traced to the RADIUS. The page that I asked you to read above explains everything in detail.
