  • AC100 - the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly

    Our AC100 suffers from frequent and annoying messages: the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly (well it is said in Dutch, so I hope that the translation is good). After googeling I found many people with the same problems (but for other devices as a computer of Toshiba), and it seems that the only solution is to reset the original settings (after having a back-up).

    But since everything downloaded widgets and applications will be gone then, I'm looking for another option. Does anyone have any experience with this message? How you solve the problem?

    And who knows how starts this problems?

    Hello

    I also recommend the return parameter of the Android to the factory settings. The widget could be saved on external source before setting the notebook to factory settings.

  • difference of initial value of string between the steps in the process and an external instance of LabWindows/CVI

    Hello

    I'm curious to know what I see using TestStand, LabWindows/2013 2013 with regard to initial in TestStand string values when you perform the steps in the process or an external instance of LabWindows/CVI.

    I have a step (CVI) string value that is used to check an array of characters stored in an EEPROM to test.  I pass on the Step.Result.String in the CVI by reference.  I then read the table charater of the EEPROM in the chain (Step.Result.String).  The string is then compared against the limit as specified in the test step breast.

    When I run this test step to perform the steps in the process selected in the popup Configuration of the adapter of LabWindows/CVI, it seems that the memory allocated for the string is filled with null characters.  Which is what I expected.

    When I run this test step to execute the steps in an external instance of LabWindows/CVI iselected of the Configuration of the adapter of LabWindows/CVI popup, it seems that the memory allocated for the string is filled with something else.  That is not what I expected.  For example what I see in the memory, it's the first characher is one byte NULL but the remaining bytes are some other values, as shown below:

    F0 00 AD BA 0D F0 AD BA 0D F0 AD BA 0D AD BA 0D AD BA 0D BA 0D AD F0 F0 F0
    F0 AD BA 0D F0 AD BA 0D F0 AD BA 0D F0 AD 0D AD BA 0D AD BA 0D F0 F0 F0 BA...

    In my code I make sure to write a null character in the following location table charater I just write in the chain so I have no problem with the test is working properly.  I have remove the writing from my code null character and was able to verity that the test passes when executing the steps in the process and fails during execution of the steps in an external instance of LabWindows/CVI.

    The returned string contains what I wrote for her, and then the rest of the string is filled with the values that are in the memory allocated for the string.

    Here's my Question: is this the expected behavior for the original string values in TestStand between both types of stage performances?

    Thank you

    Chris Young

    In general teststand not Initializes the unused portion of the string buffer, so it is expected that the values of the memory after character no endpoint will be different, or even to each call. If you happen to be get zeros after the null terminator which was probably due to random character (i.e. the memory allocated just arrived already having zeros in there) or perhaps a debug setting you use perhaps in the Visual C runtime (if you are debugging the process in visual studio or modify visual C runtime heap parameter). TestStand is not initializaing memory after the null terminator character in both cases (I checked the code).

  • Why are there seven of the process called "conhost" running?

    I've seen other questions like this, but each answer or solution that they give to the user just won't work for me. My problem is that in "Task Manager" under the "Processes" tab there are about seven of the process 'conhost.exe' running, and when I click 'End process' to each other, they reappear in less then a minute. Another process that is open is "taskhost.exe" and there are about four of them running. In this photo that I took, I would like to know why everything I put in a box is running. He also says that Notepad is open when it isn't. Every detail is that it is still open even when I restart my computer.

    The picture is not very clear, and the Description list should be expanded to read the full text,

    But what I can make out...

    - cmd.exe - would be Windows command prompt, which looks like you've opened twice (or maybe are

    in the process of running in the background?).

    - conhost.exe - Console window host (which is what you'll see with the extended Description) has to do with the console Windows (command prompt). It is a "fix" to the command line that allows to cut and paste.

    If two of them would have to do with the open cmd prompt.

    If you R / click each entry and select open file location it brings you to the System 32 file.

    -Re - open after you finish the task it is dependence and interaction of other processes.

    -If the machine is on a network, the other conhost.exe can reflect what's open on these machines.

    -Some Services also to open up other instances of conhost.exe.

    -However, it's the short story. Apparently, there are many other programs that use conhost.exe

    and it's another companion, csrss, but to find them all would take time and research.

    - Notepad - which I guess you have open.

    Taskhost - tasks of four windows running

    -Restart Windows can decrease the number of conhost.exe "opened", unless you have the startup programs

    loading in the background that use this process

    (type - msconfig - in the command run - click in the Configuration of the system at boot).

    You can also try from the clean boot and comparing what processes still work in this State.

  • Repeat the process of archiving for MAX PERFORMANCE in 11g

    Hello Evertyone,

    When I go through documents, source: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14239/log_transport.htm#i1178539

    Redo the archiving process: LGWR and ARCH (MAX PERFORMANCE)

    Network Transmission mode: SYNC If you are using ARCH process

    Oracle Data Guard 11 GR 2 Administration Guide beginner by Emre Baransel

    -I see this summary: transport ARCH is not recommended because it offers no advantage.

    What advantage LGWR provides rather than the ARK in MODE PERFORMANCE MAX?

    In which clearly defined doc information?

    Hello

    1. the Oracle 10 g documentation link you have provided that it be said that (it would be even other oracle docs)

    Allows maximum performance mode you either set the LGWR and ASYNC attributes or set the ARCH attribute on the LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_ n parameter for the standby database.

    2.i hope you know the difference between the role of process LGWR and ARCH from the perspective of the database

    3 by default, redo transport services use some ARCn process to archive log files to redo online on the primary database. Archiving ARCn processing supports only the protection of the level of maximum data performance in Data Guard configurations

    Check-in occurs when a log switch occurs on the primary database:

    • On the primary database, after the ARC0 process archives successfully redo online newspaper the local destination ( LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1 ), the ARC1 process transmits redo leave log files local archived redo (rather than the online redo logs files) to the remote standby destination ( LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2 ).

    By coming to the LGWR

    You can possibly afford to restore transport services using process LGWR for transmitting data to roll forward to distant destinations.

    Using the LGWR process differs from the ARCn processing (described on the point 5.3.1), because rather than wait for online redo log to the primary database and then written archived all again to connect to the destination remote all at once, the process LGWR selects a log file waiting for Redo on the standby site that reflects the sequence of journal number (and size) of the current log file recovery online primary database.

    Then, again being generated at the primary database, it is also transmitted to the remote destination. Transmission to the remote destination will be either synchronous or asynchronous, depending on whether the SYNC or the ASYNC attribute is set on the LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_ n parameter. Synchronous LGWR treatment is necessary for maximum protection and maximum availability of data protection patterns in Data Guard configurations

    4. it is not on the recommendation, its option to use - its role and how it works with over role, you understand. Oracle never says it's bad or wrong (you decide)

  • Question about the process() in Lession 1-2 method

    Lesson 1-2 contains the statement "String r = process (list, (x, y)-> x.length () - y.length ())", that I do not understand and cannot parse, even if I am a little familiar with lambda expressions. "  The method takes a list of String and a comparator, but the result is assigned to a unique string.  What result returned by this method?

    Looks like you are looking to slide 4 lesson 1-2.

    The example here does not say what the process() method, but one can imagine that she's going through all the items in the list and chooses the one that is the largest according to the provided comparer. This is similar to the Collections.max (Collection, comparator) method. Who is?

    Furthermore, there is a small error in the declaration of the process() method which could give a little trouble. The statement must have a parameter of type:

    static T process(List l, Comparator c)

    If you have problems, the analysis of the code, the line in the example is

    String r = process(list, (x, y) -> x.length() - y.length())

    In this case, the reference parameter is the lambda expression

    (x, y) -> x.length() - y.length()

    This has two parameters which, in this context, must be of type String. The Agency calculates the difference between the lengths, which is an int. Thus, the lambda takes two strings and returns an int. This corresponds to the comparator interface compare() method.

  • Political writing which exempts the process only Apex

    I have a table with a row that stores data parameters, including some sensitive data and must always be redacted, including the owner of the schema. An example of this is a password column.

    The problem is that a stored procedure that queries the table needs some fields with sensitive information, including the password field, in order to perform the rest of the operations which it is intended. The procedure will be executed by a process of page in the Application Express.

    My main question is: how I create a writing or other security strategy feature which can hide/mask sensitive data from everyone, (including myself) but make it accessible when called from a specific Application Express process, in this case, the above stored procedure. I have encryption on the columns, but can still read the actual data when I am connected and want it hidden at all times, just in case someone gets access to my diagram. Here some fields to just read xxxxxxxx or something of this nature, but still accessible to a query in an authorized application process.

    Also tried the hash of the password, but it's a one-way streak; I'm yet to find a way to query and to unhash a password stored without providing one to compare the password stored hashed with.  If you wonder why would I need this feature, it is because we are working in an environment in which a person has access to sensitive information, but wants the process to run seamlessly between different users and different sessions so we need to store the information of access such as passwords and IDS in one place While other users within the environment can run the same procedure without the need of the person in charge to enter in the password and other sensitive information for each person for each session.

    The table of a parameter of the line looks like this

    create table sensitive_data (col1 varchar2 (100) Encrypt salt,)

    col2 varchar2 (100) Encrypt salt);

    -The procedure is something like that;

    Create procedure Run_Apex_Process

    as

    v_col1 varchar2 (100);

    Start

    -Sensitive_data USES SENSITIVE DATA in TABLE for performing other operations

    Select col1 in sensitive_data v_col1;

    -call for other procedures using v_col1

    ..............

    end;

    Thanks in advance.

    You say you have a web-based application.  Which implies that it is a three-tier application?  If, therefore, normally, middle-tier servers maintain pools of connections.  If this is the case, you wouldn't think that a session is created each time a user connected to the application, or that a session ended whenever a user logged out of the application.  At best, the connections of killing the middle tier has opened in the connection pool would cause problems of application performance.  At worst, you cause the application being unusable.  You could certainly do things like create profiles that limit a user can have how many sessions, how long those sessions can be slowed down, etc.  But in doing so for a three-tier application would generally strongly discouraged.

    Wish I could check some logs to see what is causing this problem?

    Where are the logs (.rpt files) stored? I believe that we must manually create a directory called dirrpt.

    Hello

    1. do you run CREATE subfolders in GGSCI prompt?

    It will create all the folders required such as dirprm, dirrpt, dirdef, dirsql, dirdat... etc.

    DB user level is not necessary for the process of the Boot Manager, but you must create the Bishop under the dirprm folder settings file, to do this you need to run,

    GGSCI > EDIT PARAMS MGR

    in this reference to file the PORT number, it will be generally 7809 ex, PORT 7809,

    Then start the mgr in GGSCI

    GGSCI > MGR START

    Yet once if you get the MESSAGE MANAGER, view the details in the ggserr.log file that is available in the GG base directory where you unpacked the binary files.

    I hope this will help you

  • Second firefox.exe appearing in the process in Windows Task Manager...

    Hi all!

    I started facing this problem a few days ago and do not know what is the cause:

    In my Windows Task Manager, there are two firefox.exe that appear under the process (under Applications, Firefox only appears once). I used to complete the process to close each of the firefox.exe that appear and the result was special. Depending on whether one I finish, either the window closes completely as well as all tabs or hangs the tab that is currently open and I get the message: "bad new first: this tab broke down."

    I scanned my computer with AVG for viruses and everything was clean back. I've also scanned with ESET for malware and nothing was found.

    Any idea what I can do to fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

    argsIn as Any[String]
    // this assumes that the Begin activity has two argument variables
    // named "nameArg" and "amountArg" and you're setting them
    // to the variables "name" and "amount" respectively
    argsIn["someArgVarName"] = "Hello"
    argsIn["someBpmObject"] = myBpmObject

    // logic here to determine the name of the process to create an instance in
    idOfProcess as String
    idOfProcess =
    ProcessInstance.create(processId : "/" + idOfProcess, arguments : argsIn, argumentsSetName : "BeginIn")

    ProcessInstance is in the catalog inside Fuego.Lib.

    The processId parameter (the variable "idOfProcess" in the logic above) is the thing that I most often live with that. This is the text that you see when you process in the project right-click browser tab-> "Properties". Look at the value in the field 'Id' and not the field 'Name' (the name without a space). Prefix with "/" as presented here and if you have deployed this using a unit of Organization (UO) then prefix this chain also.

    The third parameter is almost always "BeginIn". Start of activities in a process can have several incoming argument mappings, the default value is "BeginIn". See your, double-click the process Begin activity and seek on behalf of mapping in the upper left corner of the dialog box.

    "argsIn" is the set of variables of incoming arguments you want to spent in the process. A common error is to type the names of the variables argument entering without the double quotes, as follows:

    . . .
    // this will *NOT* work
    argsIn[someArgVarName] = "Hello"
    argsIn[someBpmObject] = myBpmObject
    . . .

    Here is the correct syntax:

    . . .
    // this *WILL* work
    argsIn["someArgVarName"] = "Hello"
    argsIn["someBpmObject"] = myBpmObject
    . . .

    In this example, the process has two argument variables. It doesn't matter if the incoming arguments are arguments of primitive type (e.g. String, Integer, Decimal...) or objects of BPM, it is always in the same way. In this example, there is an incoming string argument, called "someArgVarName" and an argument entering BPM object called "someBpmObject".

    Hope this helps,
    Dan

    Hello

    This is the process (process NOT).

    SQL> alter system set processes=100 scope=spfile;
