  • Help! Setup Wizard cannot connect to the router!

    I tried several times to install this router wireless MO # BEFW11S4.

    I get an error message that Setup Wizard cannot connect to the router!

    I pressed the reset on the back button each time, it is turned off, check the cable connections between the modem cable to the router, then router to the computer.

    After dropping out of the router and connect the PC to the top with the modem, the PC is then connected to the internet once more.

    How to solve problems, or isolate the problem as a bad router?

  • Unable to connect to the database of the OBIEE 11g improved SPR

    Hello

    I am faced with questions about the RPD - 11 G upgrade. I used the batch ua (Upgrade Wizard) program to upgrade the RPD and catalogue. The upgrade was successful, and the new set of upgrade RPD and obtained catalog loaded in servers.

    When I try to view the physical layer data I get the error message "connection failed."

    I also noticed that the Type of data in the physical layer (right-click on the Database object) changed to Oracle 10 g 2. The RPD, before the upgrade was Oracle 10 g 2 / 11g. My main is on 11G.

    I advanced and changed the type of Oracle11g database in the RPD upgraded. Now when I click on "Show data", I get a different error

    "TNA 46028 failed to get the path of the DLL for the CLI 10 g / 11g comes from the NQSConfig.ini file."

    In the Config file I have sub sections:
    -----
    [DB_DYNAMIC_LIBRARY]

    ODBC200 = nqsdbgatewayodbc;
    ODBC350 = nqsdbgatewayodbc35;

    HyperionADM = nqsdbgatewayadm;
    -----
    All DLLs referenced above can be found under C:\Middleware\Oracle_BI1\bifoundation\server\bin

    I noticed that there is no OCI11g entry in the NQSConfig or in the C:\Middleware\Oracle_BI1\bifoundation\server\bin folder.

    Is this the question?. If so how can I get the DLL to 11G.

    Anyone of you faced a similar problem?

    Any help would be highly appreciated

    Thank you
    Joe

    This is a change in behavior when we have 10g and 11g. In BI EE 10 g, there was no Oracle Client delivered with BI EE. Thus, BI EE will use your Oracle DB client host to connect to the database. Usually not a problem in this case. But in BI EE 11 g, the software itself contains a client of 11.2 DB. Thus, when you try to connect to the database using the repository or the BI server, it will try to find the tnsnames entry in the customer Oracle of BI EE 11 g instead of your database. There are 2 options to work around this problem

    1. copy your tnsnames.ora {Oracle_BI1} \network\admin directory & {oracle_common} \network\admin directory (only the first is necessary because it is the ORACLE_HOME)

    2. or instead of the source tnsnames.ora entry, use the full expanded tnsnames as shown below

    (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = 172.16.66.173)(PORT = 1521)) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVER = DEDICATED)(SERVICE_NAME = orcl)))

    Both of the above will work.

    Thank you
    Vincent

  • How to connect to the database without sqlclient soa

    Hi all

    I have a very simple question.

    I need to write a shell script to get some stats for bpel instances of database as part of the daily health check.

    The problem is in our area of unix server, any customer database is not installed.

    Sql client is present as part of the installation of SOA that we can use to create the connection to the database? or by any mode of access to the shell database.

    Thanks in advance,

    Bob

    Hi Bob, there.

    most of the components in the FMW stack including SOA infrastructure rely on pure JDBC to talk to RDBMS and as I know there is no client Oracle installed in slot the FMW home (after installing SOA Suite).

    One possibility would be to use the Oracle Instant Client and use its tools from your shell scripts. It's a bit unzip and run Setup.

  • Impdp not connect to the database without error returns

    Kind regards.

    Please ask your usual support, motivated, that I am facing a strange problem.

    I recently did an expdp of different actions, the database on which the export is carried out version 10.2.0.4 Now, I'm doing impdp on a database whose version is 10.2.0.5.

    The Datapump not return any errors, does not seem to connect to the database, the impdp log shows:

    ;;;

    Import: Version 10.2.0.5.0 - 64 bit Production on Friday, August 7, 2015 11:13:43

    ;;;

    Connected to: Oracle Database 10 g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.5.0 - 64 bit Production

    With the partitioning, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options

    I wonder if this is a bug or compatibility of version of the problem.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards.

    The first thing I see is that you specify on the impdp command expdp.par.  This can work, but don't forget, there are expdp parameters that do not work in impdp. This should give an error, but not knowing what is in the file, it is difficult to see what might happen.

    You can add trace = ff0b00 and then watch to see is it y * dw*.trc files were created.  If not, then it is failing in the treatment of your settings and you want to in the last * dm*.trc file can help out you.

  • Administration client OBIEE 11 g tool - cannot connect to the database.

    Hello

    I installed OBIEE 11 g on linux platform and installed 11g admin client tool in windows server.

    My database is installed on another server (not in the installed tool of client machine). I created the ODBC DSN in the windows machine. But when I create the new repository and when I give the credentials for the database to connect I get connection failed.

    I don't have any customer database oracle installed on the windows machine. Is there something to configure on windows server?

    Any help and guidance would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

    MK.

    I installed the client 11g and one more thing that missed me is the setting of the variable of environment path in windows machine. Whenever I tried to connect to the database through the RPD, it seeks the oracore11.dll file. I mentioned the location of the oracore11.dll file in the path variable, and everything worked fine for me

    Kind regards

  • frmcmp cannot compile the modules containing SQL code that connected to the database

    Hello

    I checked several hundred messages of the forum on the net without finding a solution.

    I have a Linux server with 11.1 WebLogics (11 GR 1 material) and FormsRuntime installed.

    I am logged in as root.

    I put all the environment variables based on the values in default.env.

    In addition, I updated TERM and ORACLE_TERM vt220. And TNS_ADMIN to the location of the sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora.

    I compiled a simple .pll containing only the following code:

    IS test PROCEDURE

    an INTEGER: = 0;

    BEGIN

    a: = 1;

    END;

    command:

    frmcmp_batch module = TESTLIBPLAIN.pll userid=myuser/mypassword@mydb module_type = LIBRARY output_file = TESTLIBPLAIN.plx compile_all = Yes = Yes = No. batch connection

    result: successful compilation. generated .plx.

    now, I'm trying to compile an another .pll containing just the following code:

    IS test PROCEDURE

    an INTEGER: = 0;

    BEGIN

    Select 1 in the doubles.

    END;

    command:

    frmcmp_batch module = TESTLIBSQL.pll userid=myuser/mypassword@mydb module_type = LIBRARY output_file = TESTLIBSQL.plx compile_all = Yes = Yes = No. batch connection

    result: error:

    the two libraries differ by having used SQl commands or not.

    I tried to compile some more complex .pll and .fmb containg the SQL code. I get similar error messages. The messages that I receive for each module are the same, I would get when compiling the module with FormBuilder 9i (Windows) without being connected to the database.

    So my first thought was, this frmcmp_batch is unable to connect to the database.

    BUT:

    From frmcmp_batch with an invalid user, password, or database name not existing (resp. not in tnsnames.ora), results in appropriate error messages (not found TNS, refusal to sign etc.).

    With myuser/mypassword@mydb I don' t get this kind of messages.

    sqlplus myuser/mypassword@mydb works.

    myuser can access all objects in the database mydb.

    mydb tnsping works.

    When I check v$ session on mydb while (!) frmcmp_batch is running, I see that it is in fact a db session, created from myuser: DB-User = myuser, terminal = myappsever, osuser = root, remote process = frmcmp_batch.  And State of the current session of the db is ACTIVE.

    As a result, frmcmp_batch fails with error messages that I expect that when there is no connection to the base, if it is connected!

    Any ideas what could be wrong with my setup?

    Help appreciated.

    Jean

    I found the solution. Seems, fmrcmp 11g can connect to, but compiles not on the 9i database. With the help of a Database 11 g resolves the problem :-)

    It's too generic to mean anything. The application is hidden the real error message. You got when you did the tnsping and obtained "TNS-12535: TNS:operation has expired. Now THAT's an error.

    This indicates a problem firewall and routing. You said earlier you could ping the server, but now we see tnsping fails. Two different protocols of usage, so that both the successful ping turns out a valid physical path, it guarantees not that all traffic will pass. What happens with

    Windows XP is not supported for client components not, I recommend that you install on an operating system that is supported so usually, when there is trouble connecting to SQL Server, it is down from TCP/IP not been activated, also correct for a static port, make sure that no firewalls are in place.

    See you soon

    Hi all

    I'm on oracle 11g grid.

    I get unable to connect to the database instance: ORA-28001: the password has expired (ERROR of DBD: OCISessionBegin) error.

    I checked and found that my user dbsnmp expired password. I found the page on the grid control to change the password of user dbsnmp.

    but I want to know. If I changed dbsnmp password using the grid control. Is there any other task I have to do after the change of user dbsnmp password.

    Please let me know.

    Thank you

    Hi PK,.

    If GC can reuse the monitored GENERAL to connect to the database account I can't think of anything you should do.
    The database, what has happened is an 11g database? If so the security policy has been changed in this version, which means that in half a year you will still have a locked account of DBSNMP.

    If your company security policy allows, you can avoid this by changing the password_life_time to an unlimited number of default profile:
    change the default profile limit password_life_time unlimited;

  • not able to connect to the database using the oracle instant client

    Hello

    I am not able to connect to the database using the instant oracle from my local PC client. They use to connect to the database files and sqlnet.ora files LDAP.ora. If I want to test the connection, I found this executable tns wasn't there, so not able to tnsping. So I'm not able to solve this problem.

    Please let me know if a solution for everything

    There is little that tnsping can do sqlplus can't.

    Instead of
    tnsping mydb.myorg.com
    Try
    sqlplus-s-L /@mydb.myorg.com
    or
    sqlplus-s-L user/[email protected]

    If you get
    ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified
    you know that the customer could not resolve 'mydb.myorg.com '.

    If you get
    ORA-12541: TNS:no listener
    then "mydb.myorg.com" could be resolved, but there is no listener it running.

    If you get
    ORA-12514: TNS:listener is not currently of service requested in connect descriptor
    then "mydb.myorg.com" could be solved, the listener is in place, and the database is out of service.

    If you get
    ORA-01017: name of user and password invalid. connection refused
    you know that 'mydb.myorg.com' has been successfully resolved, and the database is running.

    If you want more details, such as how and what "mydb.myorg.com" is resolved, turn the tracking by adding the following to "sqlnet.ora:
    TRACE_LEVEL_CLIENT = ADMIN
    TRACE_DIRECTORY_CLIENT = C:\TEMP (a writable directory)

    Then you will find lines like this in the trace file:

    -THE INFORMATION SOURCE PARAMETER FOLLOWS-
    Attempt to load system pfile source C:\oracle\network\admin\sqlnet.ora
    Source of the setting successfully loaded

    Attempt to load the local pfile source C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\lanadvall\sqlnet.ora
    The parameter source has not been loaded.

    This shows you which configuration files are read, followed by the settings real read.
