  In Gimp, there is a command called "alpha to selection" which automatically selects the alpha channel of the image or layer. What is the equivalent command that in Photoshop?   32-bit and 64-bit versions are different programs and therefore installed in a directory of different programs, so you must start them in their own program directory.
  
  If you want to start them via a command then you must write a script file to define the correct program directory.

  Why don't create you two desktop shortcuts for each of the two versions of Firefox and start them with their own profile?

  I have some Vista virtual machines set up to perform specific tasks, then stop - these VMs run at specific times, as if a physical computer running, ran a task, then stop.  I want to be able to automate the Vista updates without having to manually open each VM on a weekly basis.  Are there options for command line for wuapp.exe so that I can program the virtual machine to turn on, install updates, and then click Stop again?  Or y at - it another way to accomplish what I'm doing?

  Yes, you can configure the interface within the command in aaa-server when you set the ip address of the server.

• Is there an equivalent of the hearing of equalizing the volume?

  Greetings!

  I spend a lot of time long interviews publishing, and unfortunately in our studio microphones are set to radically different volumes (not something I can fix easily because of the limitations in our Board of Directors and the way the studio was built).  So, I usually fix these differences in sound levels using envelopes of volume expanded in Audition 2.0. I do this either increase the volume of a track or the volume of the clip and then using the automation points envelope to soak if necessary.

  This can be really long, and it seems to me that there must be a better way.  I tried to use the multiband compressor to Audition 2, but it seems rather unnatural (lots of "pumping" action) compared to the use of envelopes.  Help limitation hard, but only to a certain extent - new envelopes do really work more naturally (although it takes so much time to do).  I also tried to use The Levelator, but again, it can seem artificial and rather compressed (pumping) sometimes.  In addition, it seems not much play with music, if it is present at the interview.

  An option that I found interesting is function "Leveler" Audacity.  This effect creates passages calm strongest passages and loud muffler - and it seems more natural.  I understand that Adobe Soundbooth has a 'Correction of Volume' equivalent function that can match the volume levels within a single audio clip.

  So my question is: is there an equivalent function in Audition 2.0 that can do this?  If not, is there a VST or DirectX plugins that can do this?  Curious to know your opinion.

  It's the kind of response that I know people hate doing, but...

  Although the use of dynamics processing is certainly the way to correct errors that are already registered, it IS really worth of back to basics and do the necessary to solve the problem at the source in the studio.  You mention that your microphones are introduced into a digital mixing console.  I'm sure that with a little effort you will find a way out even the levels at the time of registration.

  Even if it takes a few hours in advance, thinking about the time that you will save money in the weeks of post-production.

  I'm new to BPEL (Oracle SOA Suite). I wrote a BPEL process and it has some elements of data that continue to change.
  1. a DB connection, which at present is oriented with the DEV instance.
  2. an admin e-mail account that points to my personal e-mail ID in DEV.
  3. three Notification Email that DEV is my personal email ID
  
  Now it's time for the Production and so I have to change
  1. all configurations of the DB adapter as the database will be different (what I could get rid off the coast using data sources)
  2. actual Admin email address
  3. the actual e-mail addresses of end users
  
  I wonder that there should be a cleaner way to do this instead of going me and all processes of change and reconstruction to deploy to production. From J2EE background is there something equivalent to properties or braids of resource for BPEL files?
  
  I want something that I can set up such that I don't have to change/redeploy/restart the process whenever an end user is changed.
  
  At the moment I use a DB Table to store pairs name / value of these accessories. I know it's a desperate attempt, but it works :)

  In short, you customize the task bpelc by adding custom breakpoint properties to your partner links as it is explained in paragraphs 19.1.3.1 and 19.1.3.2. Our development team have a good feeling on this method of customization. However, instead of using the ant-orapbel-properties file we use the only used separate property file for the endpoints. We also use a link partner by environment properties file (DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD,...), so we do not have to edit these files for each deployment properties.

  Back to the question: in Gimp "color to alpha" removes a particular color of the image while keeping the other colors intact. Another way to do is to put the tool eraser to remove a particular color when you apply it. How do the exact equivalent or closed cela in Photoshop? Basically, my questions are:

  Short answer: No. even after all this time, Photoshop still doesn't offer such a handy tool. There is a Select statement--> the color range option, but it gives quite severe results and does not mix, alpha, etc. into account.

  Alternatively, the BlendIf option can also work in some cases.

  To remove the black (or white if you reverse the image first), the Unmultiply plugin can be used: http://www.ayatoweb.com/download/down04.html

  Although I'm not sure if it still works in the latest version. The developer has created a FilterForge version, which works very well (but requires a license FF).

  Only works on 32-bit hosts Photoshop compatible plugin, however. So no luck with a 64-bit Photoshop.

  It's really a shame: Photoline has a bright "color to transparency" no destructive layer (Stackable!) setting that does exactly what Gimp "color to alpha" does, but with a lot more control:

  

  Here again, no tool offers everything, including Photoshop.  Just run Gimp for these cases.
