QTECH care? is this true or a scam?
Hi, I got my lap top a few months ago and rarely use it. Shortly after I got it I got a call from care tech Q saying that my lartop has beem compromised, and they charged me $299 for unlock and get my laptop working again. Then a few weeks later, they called again and said I had to pay an additional $ $350 if I wanted to keep my laptop works well. They told me that they were somehow connected to HP, but now I wonder if I am taken for a ride. Last week, I received another call from them to want me to spend more money, and when I'm asked them they just hung up and never called back.
I would appreciate an answer, because I feel like I've been royally duped.
Thanks a lot olderlady
