ISDN-> disconnected IP calls

Hello

We have severel endpoints (C40 and 95MXP) with difficulties to follow connected ISDN/IP calls or even connect at all. Calls that crosses disconnect between 1 to 50 seconds. There is nothing no indication that calls are being disconnected with force.

Sometimes the phone call seems to go nowhere, but the video end point really rings a few seconds.

When the call is connected, we can hear the voice of the caller until the call is disconnected.

I had (31) after log out message once.

We have an ISDN GW 3241

This rings a Bell with anyone?

Best regards

André

The PRI channel could be out of sync and restarting resynch them.

  • 3241 GW ISDN to CUCM calls must be block

    Hi Experts

    I need your suggestion below

    One of our customer with cisco Telepresence infrastructure setup (VCSC & E, conductor, TIP Server & TMS, CUCM). CUCM and integrated VCS, we recently installed ISDN the Gulf war (3241)

    Now the client wants to block incoming and outgoing calls of CUCM to ISDN GW extension of GW ISDN extension CUCM

    CUCM numbering plan is 62XXXX series and of VCS E.164 dial Plan is 64XXXX. All products in the most recent version S/W

    someone suggest how fulfill us this requirement

    Concerning

    SR

    Hello, welcome to the Cisco support community!  =)

    There are two methods to meet your need, first using the rules of research named source areas and the second is the script of CPL. I'll give you an example on the use of the rules of research, which is the easiest way to meet your need:

    Blocking of the ISDN to CUCM

    1) register your gateway ISDN to a subarea separated in VCS control, for example 'ISDN-sub-zone '. Only the entry door must to enter this sub-area.

    2) create a search rule that fits your plan number CUCM, in your case, 62XXXX. This rule have priority over any other rules of game. Set the 'source' as the 'ISDN-sub-zone ". Use the parameter "replace" and transform the number to an unknown number. Set the 'match' 'Stop '. If your ISDN gateway will not be able to call any CUCM endpoints.

    Blocking of CUCM to ISDN

    1) the easiest is to make blocking calls using CUCM himself. You can use the CSS/Partition of CUCM features in order to refuse some end points to call ISDN numbers

    2) , but you can also use the VCS to block calls. You can use the same logic above. Create a search rule that fits your plan ISDN number, in my case, 0\d. * This rule have priority over any other rules of game. Set the 'source' as being the nearby area of CUCM. Use the parameter "replace" and transform the number to an unknown number. Set the 'match' 'Stop '. End points so that all your CUCM will not be able to call all ISDN numbers. Be aware that it will be applied to all the endpoints registered to CUCM, if you want to block only the end points, use the Partition/CSS of CUCM functions.

    Free fraud prevention

    When you implement an ISDN gateway registered in VCS, especially when you have a highway of VCS, you should consider the need to implement a free fraud prevention mechanism which will prevent external users to use your system as a phone system without. For example, if you do not implement such a mechanism, external Internet allows your VCS Expressway users to achieve your ISDN gateway and then free ISDN calls using your gateway. In addition, there is another method of fraud called "reunification", where the user external dials to your ISDN via ISDN gateway and connect to the auto attendant to recognition of the bridge, if it is enabled, then the user redial another ISDN number and then the call is routed to ISDN using your entry door, in other words, a malicious user can make a local call to your gateway and then use your gateway to recompose and make an international call, for example.

    Therefore, it is extremely important to look at a diagram of toll-free fraud prevention when implementing any ISDN gateway registered in VCS, especially when you have VCSE.

    Fortunately, Cisco provided a configuration example explaining how to block two methods of fraud without charge. Take a look at this guide from page 40:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/infrastructure/VCs/config_guide/Cisco_VCS_Basic_Configuration_Control_with_Expressway_Deployment_Guide_X7-2.PDF

    I suggest you consider all of the above examples, save time to plan and then implement your restriction and ISDN toll-free fraud prevention mechanism.

    I hope this helps.

    You cannot prevent MSDS disconnecting ad hoc calls regular calls start. Regular calls always have priority.

  • Disconnect the call triggered by the user

    I need an application that must hang up initiated by the user and call another number (say a few default) programmatically.

    I tried the following code in the method callInitiated() of the earpiece of the phone. But it does not work as expected.

    Test 1 - using the method Phone.initiateCall)

    public void callInitiated(int callid) {
        System.err.println("Call initiated.."+callid);

        try {
            Phone.initiateCall(callid, "1234888888");
        } catch (RadioException e1) {
            // TODO Auto-generated catch block
            e1.printStackTrace();
        }
    }

    Test 2 - using the injector event method

    public void callInitiated(int callid) {
        System.err.println("Call initiated.."+callid);

        PhoneCall phNr = Phone.getCall(callid);
        ApplicationPermissionsManager permissionsManager = ApplicationPermissionsManager.getInstance();
        System.err.println("Beforeeeeee"+permissionsManager.getPermission    (  ApplicationPermissions.PERMISSION_INPUT_SIMULATION));
        if(permissionsManager.getPermission(ApplicationPermissions.PERMISSION_INPUT_SIMULATION) != ApplicationPermissions.VALUE_ALLOW){
            System.err.println("Permissions are NOT OK");
            ApplicationPermissions neededPermissions = new ApplicationPermissions();
            neededPermissions.addPermission(ApplicationPermissions.PERMISSION_INPUT_SIMULATION);
            permissionsManager.invokePermissionsRequest(neededPermissions);
            System.err.println("Nowwwww the permission is....."+permissionsManager.getPermission(ApplicationPermissions.PERMISSION_INPUT_SIMULATION));
        }
                System.err.println("Permissions are OK");

        EventInjector.KeyCodeEvent ev = new EventInjector.KeyCodeEvent(EventInjector.KeyCodeEvent.KEY_DOWN,  Keypad.map(Keypad.KEY_END), KeypadListener.STATUS_ALT);
        System.err.println("b4 1 EventInjector invokeddddddddddddd");
        EventInjector.invokeEvent(ev);
        System.err.println("aftr 1 EventInjector invokeddddddddddddd");
        try {
            Thread.sleep(1000);
        } catch (InterruptedException e1) {
            // TODO Auto-generated catch block
            e1.printStackTrace();
        }

        EventInjector.KeyCodeEvent ev1 = new EventInjector.KeyCodeEvent(EventInjector.KeyCodeEvent.KEY_UP,  Keypad.map(Keypad.KEY_END), KeypadListener.STATUS_ALT);
        System.err.println("b4 2 EventInjector invokeddddddddddddd");
        EventInjector.invokeEvent(ev1);
        System.err.println("aftr 2 EventInjector invokeddddddddddddd");
    }

    The trials were unsuccessful, and no exception is thrown. Rather, the user dialed number is called.

    What is the error that I do?

    I use STATUS_NOT_FROM_KEYPAD, not STATUS_ALT.
    I inject a keydown and keyup event.

  • Random Jabber disconnections of MCU calls

    Good afternoon

    Hope you can help me. I've seen a few posts with these error messages in but they are not quite what is happening here

    My customer is having a problem, where a number of their Jabber users (for windows) is randomly calls MCU is disconnected on their server of telepresence. The disconnection occurs in less than a minute.

    None of the presentations are shared when this happens.

    The errors are:

    Operation BYE failed because the network error

    End of appeal because INVITE it transaction timeout

    Call due to the failure of closing invitations

    GST 320 - software version: 4.0 (2.8)

    Made - known Jabber clients versions 4.4 and 4.7

    Currently waiting for the client to update me on MSDS, blade of conductor and versions of software VCSE and VCSC

    I hope you can help

    Thank you very much

    Luke

    In general, this is because of a network problem, where SIP messages are not sent correctly between Jabber and reliable TP server, in this case, I'm guessing the OK/acknowledgement of receipt are not sent to the head of the Orchestra/TP server and the server TP is disconnecting the call. Is there a firewall in the mixture, do you SIP ALG turned on? If I look at the firewall and disable SIP algo

  • External calling MeetMe disconnects

    Hello

    I wonder if it is possible to have an external caller questioned a number of meetme a DID or via a transfer?  I have the meetme conference Setup using call Mangager 8.6 w / 2901 as a bridge of conference material, and it works with the internal phone.  But when I try to use a DID and translate the call into a meetme conference number it connects, I hear the beep and then disconnects the call.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Dan.

    Or the other option works, you probably want to debug the exact reason for the disconnection.

    Make sure that you actually use the SFBC HW with good active codecs.

  • Webex Cloud CMR SIP video calls disconnect after 20 seconds

    Hello

    I am running version 9.1 with Exressway-C CUCM / 8.6 Expressway-E.  I have no problem doing business SIP video calls.  However when I make video calls on a site of WebEx CMR, the call becomes still cut off after 20 seconds.  It is audio and video for the first 20 seconds and then disconnects the call.

    I was able to recreate this situation of 3 of my clients running CUCM version 9.

    I have 2 clients running CUCM v10.5 and the issue is not the case.  I don't know if this question is 100% related to the CUCM version, but looks like a correlation obviouse.

    I watched the SIP trace and it seems that the endpoint CUCM is end the call with normal call clearing.  I tried 8945 phones, jabber for iphones and a C40 and I get the same results.

    If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Can you receive calls B2B? During the call set up, Webex will try to set up another session TCP inbound to your E Expressway on port 5060 and 5061, do you have this open to outside within the TCP sessions? (see page 5 of the CMR-Cloud deployment guide: http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/sol...)

    If they are open, the TCP session is configured for an incoming invitation with complete SDP of the TPS Cloud, you can check your sip max message size is located at 11000 - if you went from CUCM ~8.6 5000 was the default size and the default continues for an upgrade.  Check under system-> Service settings-> CUCM service-> show click on the button to display all options, and then check the size of incoming messages SIP advanced Max.

  • Automatic call disconnect on C40

    Hello, I would like to know if anyone knows if there is a way to have a C40 disconnect a call on its own after a period of time. We had this option on former TANDBERG systems, but I can't seem to find a setting for the web interface of C40. Maybe this can be done using API commands? Thank you

    Older TANDBERG MXP endpoints had this possibility, but it is not a feature on any endpoint of Cisco, the only option is to someone to finish the call themselves.

    You should contact your account manager and request a feature if it's something you want to add.  It will not be added to CA based endpoints, that is to say: the C series for example, because TC software is in maintenance mode and only bug fixes are performed with no new features added.  However, it might be possible to add to the CE software for the current endpoints of line if there is enough interest.

  • Call on iPhone transfer

    Android phone (some or all) offers a call forwarding option (provided that the mobile network operator supports). This issue is specifically for call transfer and not call front/reference.

    We have a similar option available for the iPhone?

    Example: An application B. B receives the call, call waiting and call C. After C receives, B a call transfer and falls. A and C of talks. B is able to do this it seems on Android phone, but not on iPhones.

    I don't think that it is an option. If an iPhone user can create a conference call, if the carrier supports that, once you have added several appellants, you can't leave the appeal to any third party. Disconnect the call.

    If you want to see a change in this, you can provide feedback to Apple. This goes to their comments here, page http://www.apple.com/feedback , and then click the area on the matter.

  • Lock the button end a call?

    I never noticed this on my iPhone 5s, but since I switched to my iPhone 6 s ive noticed that I continue to hang up on people on a call by pressing the lock button. Is it possible to do the locking button hang up don't no calls? In my business, we tend to pass the phone around a little and is quite easy to accidentally hit the lock button while passing.

    No, the device and iOS are specially designed in this way - pressing the power button during a call immediately disconnects the call.

    Similarly, if the phone rings, press the power button will turn the ringer off, and two quick pressure pours the call immediately to voicemail.

    For more security, I recommend that you scan your computer with Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware. Make sure that you update Malwarebytes before analysis. The version of SuperAntiSpyware I linked you is portable and should not be updated if you scan with him a few hours to download. Post back with a summary of the results there may be additional steps depending on what types of malware is detected.
