Random Jabber disconnections of MCU calls

Good afternoon

Hope you can help me. I've seen a few posts with these error messages in but they are not quite what is happening here

My customer is having a problem, where a number of their Jabber users (for windows) is randomly calls MCU is disconnected on their server of telepresence. The disconnection occurs in less than a minute.

None of the presentations are shared when this happens.

The errors are:

Operation BYE failed because the network error

End of appeal because INVITE it transaction timeout

Call due to the failure of closing invitations

GST 320 - software version: 4.0 (2.8)

Made - known Jabber clients versions 4.4 and 4.7

Currently waiting for the client to update me on MSDS, blade of conductor and versions of software VCSE and VCSC

I hope you can help

Thank you very much

Luke

In general, this is because of a network problem, where SIP messages are not sent correctly between Jabber and reliable TP server, in this case, I'm guessing the OK/acknowledgement of receipt are not sent to the head of the Orchestra/TP server and the server TP is disconnecting the call. Is there a firewall in the mixture, do you SIP ALG turned on? If I look at the firewall and disable SIP algo

  • Random wifi disconnects on newly purchased HP Envy Dv6 windows 8

Just bought a laptop (HP Envy dv6) and WiFi disconnects randomly while browsing online with Google chrome. Working very well so that it disconnects randomly, but almost always when I opened multiple Web sites at once (usually about 4-5 pages). The modem/router disconnects and connects to the top of the inside of 5 to 10 seconds. Wired connection works very well on my desktop running windows 7.  Any help would be gladly appreciated.

This happens to you to other devices connected to the wifi? If not its probably your router, you can buy a new see if that helps or swich for cable.

  • Internet of Jabber Clients through VCSe calls

    Hi Experts,

We have provisioned on CUCM 8.6.2 Jabber clients and Movi customers supplied on VCS control (X 7.0) and TMS (13.2.1)

We will deploy VCSexpressway soon to our society.

My request is that it will be possible for the Jabber Clients on CUCM to call outside our company. I know Movi would work, but not sure of Jabber clients.

Could someone help me? If it can work, how it is possible?

    Thank you

    Saurabh

    Slim,

It should work very well. !! Once you make a call to jabber client that calls flow would be to track Express VCS de VCS control and then again in venture capital control of CUCM on the sip trunk.

the only thing is that you must develop with the numbering plan so that it should not conflict with other numbering on the vcs control plans.

  • Allowing endpoints make multi-point on Cisco 4505 MCU calls

    Hello

I have a Cisco 4505 MCU and several endpoints.  Is there a way to allow that my end point called multipoint adhoc using MCU 4505?  For example, I would say that dial site1 using mcu, then dial site2 help mcu or call a group (site 1 and site1...) using mcu and it would know that it is supposed to use the 4505.

    Thank you

    Ravi

Of course, you can configure (a few 100) static, meeting rooms, auto create conferences on the fly, based on a model or have the means put in place and there is even an on screen menu allows users to create or join conferences.

  • Charter & Airport Extreme: random drops/disconnects

OK, I'm at the end of my mind to try to get the Charter to work with my wifi from the airport...

After years of strong connectivity, my modem Asus started appearing as "disconnected" Airport utility. I have hard reset the modem, replaced the modem, replaced the coaxial cable to the modem, replaced the 6th gen AirPort Extreme (connected via wan to the modem), hard reset and rebuilt factory default as long as the airport, and the 5th gen Airport (connected by Ethernet at the 6th and in bridge mode) and always keep my modem dropouts or moments where my Airport 6th get suddenly seems to now show activity utility Airport.

I have connected a laptop directly to the Asus without any problems at all, so it's within my network. But I am confused... And very frustrated.

I'm including some settings below, but any help would be appreciated... I don't know what has changed.

Oh, and the two airports are running the latest firmware for their respective models.

    Thank you all!

For the gen 6 Airport extreme, directly connected to the modem via the Wan:

    • Is connected to the Internet via DHCP
      • Configure IPv6 is set to "Link-Local" only (I have checked and don't see that IPv6 is currently active in my Charter service area)
    • Wireless network mode is "Create a wireless network" and I chose the channels for 2.4 and 5 Ghz that I found to be opened via iStumbler
    • Network has the router Mode DHCP and NAT, with an active lease 365 days DHCP and NAT Port Mapping Protocol

For the extreme 5th generation of airport, connected by ethernet to the 6th gen:

    • Is connected to the Internet via DHCP
      • Configure IPv6 is set to "Link-Local" only (I have checked and don't see that IPv6 is currently active in my Charter service area)
    • Wireless network mode is "Create a wireless network" and I selected channels for 2.4 and 5 Ghz as the 6th gen
    • Network is set to "Off (bridge Mode)" router Mode

6th Gen airports have had a lot more problems with the compatibility of the modem that previous generations, so if you have the time... connect the 5th Gen airport to the modem and put in place to do DHCP and NAT to the 6th Gen in bridge... Mode to see how things work out like that.

Charter do not have active IPv6 yet, but they and about all the other suppliers have been the addition of new equipment and changes to their service. This can be a factor in your connection problems.

Yes, I'm sure that the Charter will say that this has had no effect at all on their regular service of IPv4... Since the ISP always claim that they have no issues when you ask them about their service.

If you decide to exchange the Gen 6th and 5th generation, as I suggested above... and you still have trouble connecting... then you are going to have to decide whether to keep the airports and to try another brand of modem... or... keep the modem and try another brand of router.

  • Is the internet connection disconnects if someone calls me on the phone on a dial-up access?

Someone suggested that some Internet service providers log, but this has
never been my experience. If this is the case, it is not common.

In general, your internet connection is like a phone call. If someone
calls while you're on a phone call (or Internet), they get
a signal of occupation, but your telephone connection (or internet connection)
    remains.

  • EX90 DISCONNECTS IN A CALL AFTER 3-5 MINUTES

    ALCON,

    Got a good for you...

I have an EX90 (new) and is located on the network as well as multiple MXP in the same VLAN video.

Was on TC5.0.1 and we have upgraded to TC7.2.1..., this is the first upgrade of EX90 here.

Problem is then connected to the network to put down (I think that stop) after 3-5 minutes, even when, in a call.

When it is not connected to the local network, it will stay up without problem?

    Any ideas?

    VR

    Chet

Yes, I mean TC7.3.0. Oh in that case try downgraded first to 7.2.1 and see if its stable, otherwise you can to prepare to do an RMA.

  • Comments of Jabber with VCS registered endpoint control and MCU

    Hi all

According to my plans. I'll try to integrate comments Jabber with environment of Collaboration.

    Use cases;

    1. call between Jabber and VCS registered control EX90 comments

    2. Add Jabber comments a MCU conference where MCU part control VCS

    3. call between Jabber and Jabber comments

    Comments will be welcome :)

    Best regards

    Mesut

    Hi Martin,

From Jabber comments 10.0, only #3 above is supported. However, we will publish JG 10.5 soon (I hope that in the next few months), and it will support all 3 of your above use cases. The only downside is to use #1 and #2 cases, you have a CUCM in the call flow.

  • CUCM mcu siptrunk video call bindwith

    Hi team

I have a question about how can I config the bindwith for the siptrunk?

I used a tunk sip to leave the cucm forward the video to the mcu conference call (5310), but no matter how I set up the bindwith video of location in cucm profile, call rates transmit only 384 k, but the receive call rate is 4000 k, but the hit rate and resolution are well when the mcu call codec (C60) directly by using H.323.

I think I missed something in cucm configuration.

    Hi Jason,

Could you give more information about the configuration of CUCM? How your regions are configured? Do you have the regions applied to SIP Trunk and the phone? The relationship between the regions allow enough bandwidth for the video?

If I'm not mistaken, the default bandwidth for the video within the region setting is 384 k. Did you change this value to your regions?

I also suggest to examine the configuration of your location and check if there is any restrictions applied.

  • Cisco Jabber Im b2b calls

    Hello world!

I m deployment the following scenario:

    CUCM--> exp - c--> exp - e

I registered sx10 and cisco jabbers on Cucm and I've implemented mra and b2b on the solution of the highway. Of sx10 I can dial in the external domain, everythings and the external ip address work very well.

Also, I downloaded jabber - config.xml for uri component of jabbers users but I have a problem: when I compose b2b calls from a jabber user, the call comes in the highway-c, but this uses the time zone of the mra to the highway e, then "Service unavailable" error. I have already added the b2b area and works well endpoint sx10, but not jabbers users.

    Can someone help me?

    Kind regards!

Something weird going on here. Looks like Jabber's still doing this call as a call MRA.

Try adding a SIP (area boss) route in CUCM for externaldomain.es and refer her to your B2B SIP Trunk 5560 to Expressway. Then restart Jabber and try the call again. If it does not please post again the history of the research.

  • New laptop disconnects and reconnects constantly while the older laptop works perfectly fine

Hey guys, I read some of these posts online but none really match the description of my problem.

Here it is, I just bought an alienware m14x and I have the wireless card Wireless-Killer 1202 on it, so I have a router 2Wire AT & T clocked at 1 ml to 10 best. Also, I have another laptop that connects to the same router and happens at all to it.

I can connect to the internet just fine, but when I start browsing, randomly, I disconnect from the internet and connect again in the seconds that follow, and my laptop never shows it loses Internet. First thing I noticed when I used Skype, I started to browse the internet while I was in a call and that's when it gets more, it disconnects, puts the call on hold and says I'm offline on Skype, and in seconds I'm back on.  This also happens when I'm game and it becomes really annoying when I have to return to the game because of those disconnections.  Rarely, I see a real router screen to check the wired connections to the router and then test the connection when opening a Web site (all), when I press on test connection (without doing anything) he told me that the connection has been resolved and to close my browser and open a new one.  Most of the time, pages load very well when I'm browsing, I see there is a little lag when disconnects occur, however, and the page will load after a few seconds, no need to regenerate.

I tried to release and renew my IP but I get a message which can pronounce when the media is disconnected? I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I have also updated the driver 1202 wireless with the update of bigfoot, although I don't know if I did this right, I unzipped all the files where he says C:/user/driver/without wire (for example), but I've never had a window to proceed after that, and when I went to the folder and ran to demand He asked me if I wanted to uninstall all the components, which is when I canceled and he left the newly created files.

I think it might be my wireless card because when I use the alienware m14x with an ethernet cable, this problem does not at all.

Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance, let me know if you need more information.  Thank you!

    Angel89,

Go to the drivers & downloads , enter your service tag, and then select your operating system. Under network, download and install the latest drivers.

    Try these tweaks...

Start, Control Panel, Manager of devices. Click Network and then right click on your wireless network adapter, on the left, click on properties, power management. Uncheck the allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

Go to the options power and changed the wireless adapter setting, adjustment of maximum power for maximum performance.
