ISE unit 3415 CLI-Admin Password Reset (NO DVD)

Hello

What are the options to reset admin password cli on a device of ISE without a DVD drive?

Also, I ' can not use the KVM as I get an error saying that the viewer has ended and the reason to be "the network connection fell.

Any info or pointers would be great.

Thank you

You need a KVM access and/or console to perform password recovery/reset. If the console/KVM port do not work, you will need to contact Cisco TAC.

Can someone please help me to reset my BIOS admin password.  I know it's stupid, but when I got my laptop 5 years ago for some silly reason, I thought it was a good idea to set an admin password.   5 years later, I need to change my setting of virtualization in the BIOS and surprise!  I'm stuck with absolutely no idea what password I used.

The "System off" code I get is: 67600648.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.  My eternal thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to read my post and use a part of his personal time to help me solve my problem.  I am really grateful for that.

  • 5660 HP ENVY PRINTER: HP ENVY 5660 EMBEDDED SERVER ADMIN PASSWORD RESET PRINTER!

    Hello

A HP technician could send me the procedure to reset my printer HP Envy 5660 Embedded Server Admin password? I have generator password with a password manager and looks like it was too complicated for the embedded server! Did not work thereafter. I think that there are characters who does not have the server's firmware, but I haven't checked!

    Anyway,.

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Best regards

    Jean

    Hi @JFLACHANCEC,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you need to reset the EWS password for your printer HP ENVY 5660. I would be glad to help and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution" if I helped successfully will solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

I can understand the frustration you are experiencing. If you do not know the password, we will have to reset the printer to factory settings it to remove it. This will remove all preferences and settings of the printer. Once you reset the printer, you will need to reconfigure the wireless to the printer again.

I can send you this information in a private message. In the forum next to your handle name simply click on the envelope to see.

When you set a password on the built-in Web server, choose a password that you will remember.

TIP: Enter a password for the administrator account. When a password is set, the name of the administrator (Admin) and the password are required to view or change the EWS Networking. To disable the password, leave the password empty settings.

NOTE: This password has nothing to do with the security of the network.

  • Admin password reset

Let me first say I "did not forget" my admin password.  My system is corrupt and won't accept my password.  Here is the error message I get:

THE USER DIDN'T LOGIN USER FILE COULD NOT BE LOADED

I have only one user account on my HP laptop and I did not create the reset or recovery disk.  I can't express how frustrated I am.  I can't believe that a system would be designed like that.  In any case, does anyone know how to reset the password without having to download the software $30?   Thanks for listening me wind :)

Thanks for the reply Irfan.  I couldn't do the steps in the process/procedure work for me, but I found the answer here:

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/130095-user-profile-service-failed-logon-user-profile-cannot-loaded.html

It was a 13-step process that has been very helpful and it worked!

  • 15 - p111nr: BIOS Admin password reset

Hello, I need a BIOS reset password.  The current stop code is 5C533F4A.

I tried https://bios-pw.org/ and the results do not work.

    Thank you.

    -Timothy

    Hello

Your laptop is to produce a code hexadecimal halt which is stored in the ram as a 'one stop' and is recalculated after a reboot.  This indicates that you have a FRIEND bios later and unfortunately none of the current code generators will work - surprisingly, you can always remove power on password of the machine by removing the cell RTC (leave the connected Power Board) then hold down the power button for 60 seconds before reinserting the RTC.

The bad news is that the RTC is on the 'wrong' side of the motherboard so is going to require a lot of disassembly - see Page 115 of your Maintenance & Service Guide.

  • Reset password CLI CLI admin

    Hi Experts,

I am quite new to ISE, I have access to ISE cli using a user account with the Admin role.

I tried to put the username admin with our standard password, but I can not connect using, username admin and the password of the cli.

In my view, it is necessary to boot from iso to set the admin password. The fact even to reset the user name "admin", even though I can access the CLI.

    Receive your answer on that.

    Thank you

    rYs

    Hi riyasrasheed,

I tested on my version 1.3 ISE and it worked fine. My understanding of the matter is, you were not able to change the default Admin user password by logging CLI with another user with admin role.

I tested on my version 1.3 ISE and it worked well for me. With the ISO image, you can change the password of the admin user, but you cannot change the names of users.

    Thank you

  • HP Deskjet 6988 Admin password will not be reset

I have a deskjet 6988 I want to set up for wireless printing.  I am able to connect to the printer via ethernet and wireless Ad - Hoc and can open the EWS browser.  When I select the network tab, a dialog box opens and asks you a username and password.  I know from the manual of the user name is "Admin", however, I never set up a password and the password is not empty.  (I think I bought a returned unit and another user defined a password)

The problem is that the routine use of the manual password reset - "hold the key to report and press the Cancel button 3 times"-does not reset the password.

Does anyone know another method to clear the password or a backdoor password?

The following is posted in "deskjet 6980 reset password":

    ================================================

Press and hold the POWER button.
Press 'X' (printing to cancel) the number of times specified (1)
Press SUMMARY/FF the number of times specified. (2)
    Output POWER
    1 2--> ROM Dump, p/c, alignment-dates

    ================================================

If you follow that and find the rom dump 0408 on printer deskjet 6988 address, you can see the password and username is just above or nearby.  I don't know if this address would be exactly the same for each dump of rom, but the username and password should be listed in this rom dump.
