Issue of civilization 3 full fullscreen
I recently installed civilization 3 full to my windows 7 laptop computer sony Vaio bonus and have had problems to make my game to be full screen, the latest PCs bit I tried on xp and 2000 and it worked perfectly, so what should I do to try to get a display full screen for my game?

Table Undo space is still 99% full
Undo table space is always filled to 99%, what can I do to free? Why is it always full?

Full motion capture cursor trails
I'm trying to capture an exercise in writing requiring full motion capture. I tried varying the pace as suggested in the help documentation, but sees little improvement. Can someone give me advice on how to address the issue of cursor in full motion trails seizes. My capture is great - 1024 x 768, recorded at 30 frames per second and a 2 minute film.Hi CowanJim
If you use Captivate 2, record a video sequence longer than about 4-5 seconds asking too much Captivate. Captivate 3 has evolved the ability to complete movement, but it is nowhere near Camtasia, if your goal is to have the full movement from end to end. That's why I see room in my toolbox for both products. Each has its own strengths.
I might suggest you try things would be:
* I know that you have played with pace and haven't seen much of a difference.
* Close Captivate and perform a maintenance of your PC. Delete all temporary files, internet cache, etc. Then, run a defragmentation. Basically, make sure the system is as best as you can. Make sure you have plenty of space on your hard drive. Besides, if you have two hard disks, see who is the fastest. You can find that you have a C drive is what we call a 'spin 54' or disc 5 400 rpm and you could have added a second disc which is a '72 spin' or disc of 7 200 rpm, which would be faster. So consider clicking on Options > Options for saving... > Full Motion recording tab Play with the setting "disable hardware acceleration". Here's where you can consider changing your 'working folder '. That's where Captivate hiding places before full motion capture it gets converted. SWF. 'Raw' data, if you want to. If you see something like C:\DOCUME~1\Rick\LOCALS~1\Temp\~CaC96, try replacing C:\ to remove the crud of folder. I think that can slow things down a bit. Or, if you do not have this second fast drive, change to the drive letter. Perhaps D:\. Also try to change the mode setting color video.I hope that something here is useful... Rick

Sorry I don t use the T are you e C r y p t software on my laptop but I recommend you to create a Toshiba Recovery disk before installing this software.
No one can guarantee that everything will work properly after installing these software therefore you must create the disc in order to be able to put the computer laptop back to factory settings if something goes wrong. -
Vista installs bad drivers for my network card
I just reinstalled vista service Pack1 wouldent installed cus and it dosent always install, but it's a different problem

-Instead of ever having to do it again - find a way to make an image of the system once you have a fixed point, but perhaps without all your personal data back on it yet (to control the size of the image) as * if * you must do this again - you can just restore the image and start from a point where all the drivers are working and your basic programs are installed and updated.

I just replaced my PC, and then reloading all software monitoring. I loaded IME 6.x and added 3 devices (ASA AIM - 20 primary and failover, sensor 4240).
I remembered then, there was a version more recent (7.0.3), so I downloaded this version and installed. Everything was going well (software did an uninstall of the old version, then reinstall the new version), but when I started the EMI, there is NO devices listed.
I "added" devices with no problems, but now the "event tracking" shows also the 'old' and 'New' devices. (I 'appointed' devices differently when you add the second time, 'AIP-SSM-20 main' origin and 5540 "primary" twice.) How can I "fix" this issue, other than a full uninstall and reinstall the software?
There are a few options really. The first option would be to set the event followed to filter only the names of sensor you want to see. This can be done of EMI under the supervision of event-> filter-> other settings-> sensor names. This will allow you to filter events for only the sensors you want. The other option would require allows you to remove all the old data of the event. To do this, you need to close IME and stop the service of the EMI. Once this is done you can go to the following location (if it is installed in the default directory) and remove the contents of the alarmDB directory.

Once the above is done then you should be able to restart the service of the EMI and the old data must be deleted.

OK, now let's go through the problem:
- It's a development running on a virtual server, and which hosts a few other databases, so the parallel execution is not a good thing. parallel_degree_policy is set to MANUAL, parallel_max_servers and all other parallel_ limits are set to 1 and tables have been changed with the settings of NOPARALLEL. So why is the execution plan always generated with all stages of parallel execution? I don't seem to get rid of in 12 c
- Next mystery is that the said plan of the explain command is an adaptation plan, and yet I put the true optimizer_adaptive_reproting_only
- Now to the problem of effective enforcement, so I'm playing around with all these settings. The query runs for 3-4 seconds, returning around about 500 cases. However, in some cases this same query with the same input variable races for hours and if I can believe the AWR and ASH reports, read a good 180 GB of data. The main wait event is direct path read temp temp and writing.
This is not isolated to that one query. I have a few queries now that all display the same behavior, one of them running overnight. I don't seem to get to a standard nested loop execution plans.
The entire base is a database plug-in and I don't know I just missed something in the new features Guide.

If you want to disable parallel execution, you must set parallel_max_servers to zero. Maybe the optimizer thinks he can use a parallel plan because parallel_max_servers is non-zero (even though the number of slaves available means that it will be serialized to a parallel plan).
Note that you have a ticket saying dynamic stats have been used. Maybe you have a 11 for optimizer_dynamic_sampling setting, and allowing Oracle to be very inventive with collection of samples and parallelism.
You have also 2 SQL instructions in game. These are the things that get associated with objects rather than the instructions, then perhaps someone has been playing with parallelism and managed to associate the parallelism with one of the tables in your query (I am not sure 100% that it is possible, just throw a suggestion). Take a look at the SQL used for education guidelines.
To give us a little more information, you can:
Shoot memory execution plan dbms_xplan.display_cursor ({sql_id}, {number of children}, 'ALL'));
We show all the parallel settings (see setting the parallel)
Pull on the parameters of the optimizer for query memory (select name, value of V$ sql_optimizer_env where sql_id = {your sql identifier} and child_number = {your child number})

Distinguish uppercase / lowercase in the validators of the entity

I use ADF 11 g with Oracle 11 g business components.
In some of my features, I set the secondary keys to apply different unique key validator. They work well, but I want to make it case insensitive. Is it possible to do it without changing the NLS_COMP and NLS_SORT database settings? I don't want to change because I read, it causes performance issues due to the full sweep of the table. Also, maybe I need to make comparisons case sensitive (for example password)

I just did a quick test - the custom error message for unique indexes also works well. For example, create an index:
create unique_index MY_INDEX_NAME on hr(upper(last_name));The project bundle model message, then add a message with the "MY_INDEX_NAME" key and the value of the error message. It displays the message easy to use, just like the 37.8.3 section describes constraints.

fullscreen is not full screen, unless I use "expand" and later goes back
I used to be able rely on full screen and it would be nice, and when I closed ff, after reboot it will re-start in fullscreen. Something a gliched. When I press on full screen in regular format, mode full screen is not complete, only about 90-95% of the screen. I can make it go full screen if I click
"expand" and then full screen, but if, at any time, the screen is not expanded, the same thing happens. If I close enlarged and full screen
It opens with the reduction in full screen. I can't move or stretch out in anything except the normal screen, and even once, I click on full screen.
