Issue of "Downgrade".

While I'm sure we are the only partner of BC with this problem, let me ask anyway...

We have a customer who has not been paid as promised. (i.e. constant promises)  My question is, if we can demote their site for a test site. that is, put offline, but keep it completely intact until they pay their bills?  BTW-is it ethical?

May try to reproduce the site if you are a Premium partner and then delete a direct. When they pay add a new backup. However, they will lose any management of customer information. But what you're asking for has asked for many of us. I hope that we will see something like c ELA sooner rather than later.

  • Satellite A300 - issue Downgrade from Vista to XP

    Hi all...
    IM intending to get rid of my windows Vista SP2 (32 bit) and XP SP3 (32 bit). My laptop is: [Satellite A300 - 1 G 5 | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/SUPPORTSECTION/discontinuedProductPage.do?service=EU&com.broadvis ion.session.new = Yes & PRODUCT_ID = 1055589].

Now, I studied the topic before posting. When the first time I tried to install XP laptop does not recognize the CD of the OS and I failed. Later, I found a topic suggesting through the BIOS and change the HHD of ACHI to compatibility mode, so I did and it works but I have not installed yet. I have a few question reclassification process.

    1. once I have install the XP, can I put the AHCI mode? gives me a better performance (I really don't know what is ACHI!)
    2. this void my warranty?
    3. If I had a problem, the XP installation failed for some reason any and no OS on my laptop, will still be able to use the recovery DVDs to restore my laptop?
    4. now, the issue of the pilots. Here: [list of drivers Vista | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU] and here: [list of Drivers XP | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU], the question as follows:

    (A) some drivers exist in the list of drivers Vista but does NOT exist in XP driver list; as: DVD player, facial recognition, supervisor password, driver of the SRT, tiles for the mobility and WPS Library Center. What should I do?

    (B) is there a specific order to install drivers? as a driver for a device must exist before a driver to avoid conflicts or overwrite files?

    (C) there are several drivers for the same device, how to choose one? example: the Wireless Lan Driver has several companies (Realtek Semiconductor Corporation, Atheros and Intel); which I will use?

    5. is it true that Vista is better than XP mobility? will (consumption and the heat of power management) XP my laptop do suffer from heat because the laptop is already packed with vista? I mean, they tried what OS fits perfectly on the machine, unless Toshiba push just Vista people because Microsoft needs that... lol

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

Hope that my questions are clear, I had something else to ask, its a matter of opinion. are there advantages of Vista on XP? I use my laptop for some games and make some 3Ds MAX, which both require a lot of RAM, Vista eats up to 1 GB of my RAM, so that XP barely fill half a GB of RAM, that is my main concern when I decided to go for XP. I'd like to hear your opinions and experience life...

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

In my opinion there is no great reason to change to Windows XP Home edition OS. Optimize Vista can also run well and stable on your laptop. I was very skeptical on Vista but now after a year of use I can work very well with it. Soon we will again have Win7 and it should work much better than Vista.

My point of view is in a hurry and do not always return to comfortable. Of course, you can do what you want and your decision is quite legitimate. I imagine that you will get better performance under Windows XP Home edition for all activities, that you do every day.

I must also say that you did the right thing to pick up some info before you start the installation of Windows XP Home edition. On this forum, you can find a lot of interesting and useful discussions.

    Back to your questions:
    1 n ° best performance, you'll have under ACHI.

    # 2 you can install what you want.

3 Yes, but only the DVD. F8 option no longer works and the image on the second partition will be useless.

    4
At the drivers, tools and utilities are not the same for Vista new and old WXP. Install available stuff. It is not enough.
B - generally YES. If you need help with this let know us.
C you know what WLAN card is in your laptop. Check Device Manager under Vista.

5 I didn't noticed any difference. Toshiba installs Windows XP Home edition for years and has good experience with this. You can use great Toshiba power saver tool in Windows XP Home edition and optimise energy consumption, cooling method and performance. In Vista, you can do the same.

  • 17 - F053US, downgrade Windows 7 driver issues

I recently bought a HP Pavilion F053US 17. It came with Windows 8.1 and it was terrible. I managed to downgrade to Windows 7 and, apparently, most of the drivers drivers loaded correctly except for the LAN and wireless. I went through HP, Broadcom and Realtek with no luck. Any suggestions?

    Hello:

I suggest that you try to manually install the wireless driver then because it's definitely the driver you need.

    Run this file again.

  • Downgrade from merger issue 5

I'm trying to downgrade my trial of Fusion 5 to 4 Fusion I have a license for.  I read the instructions on how to uninstall manually, but it makes no mention of the programs installed in Windows.  So my question is this: after reinstalling, must I still my program if I have 5 Fusion of uninstall and install Fusion 4?  The importance is that I don't want to burn through my product licenses to reinstall Fusion 4

    Thank you

Uninstalling VMware Fusion does not remove Virtual Machines, no more then uninstall most of the other applications.  As uninstall Microsoft Office does not remove the product of the created work, documents, workbooks, presentations, power point, etc.  It is no different for VMware Fusion!

Before uninstalling VMware Fusion 5.x have a look on: Change the compatibility of a Virtual Machine

Also uninstall/reinstall, do not repair install VMware Tools in order to run the correct version for the VMware Fusion version that you are running.

  • Issue of volume control after downgrading A210-1AS for Win XP

    Hey all,.

I recently upgraded my satellite A210-1AS to xp and after sorting more things, including the audio drivers, wireless, etc, I have some problems (surprise, surprise)

    1. the sound adjustment on the front wheel can't control the volume, although it worked fine in Vista.
DD realtek audio Manager is installed fine, AFAIK. Any ideas how to solve this problem?

    2. the buttons on top to control the media work more (toshiba easykeys?).
Are there drivers for these that everyone found for XP?

    3. (and I'm not too fussed on) there are 3 yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager.
    1. I believe is the modem, which I am not at all worried, the other 2 I do not know. Any ideas?

Thank you very much for the replies, would be nice to sort. Although I could use volume control in xp, it is not ideal, as I'm sure you can imagine.

Will check in the morning, thanks again

    Hi Joshua

I m the owner of the Satellite A210. This laptop is similar to the Equium A210.
I installed a Windows Vista and XP on the second partition and I have the sound and the sound volume control works very well with both operating systems.

But I had a little problem with the installation of driver sound. After a short investigation here in the forum, I discovered that I need to first install MS patches; KB888111 and KB835221.
After installing the patch, I installed the Realtek audio driver. It worked like a charm.

    (2) control buttons doesn't work on my laptop because I have an A210 with the AMD processor and chipset and XP from Toshiba Utilities for my series are not available.

    (3) I have 2 yellow exclamation marks in my device manager. The modem works because I installed the modem driver from an another series of notebook A210. The driver also works.
Two other unknown devices ("possibly PCI memory controller" or "Mass Storage Controller) may be linked to the material that is only supported by Windows Vista and not XP. Therefore, the XP drivers don t exist also.

    Good bye

  • Downgrade iOS?

How do I downgrade to iOS 10 to a fairly recent version of 9?

The update to iOS 10 is part of my silent detectors - selectively. Only alarms that I rely on wake were reduced to silence. It did not affect the alarm of the evening that I used to test if that had been the problem (for example, it is give false negatives). As the alarm feature is fundamental for the phone, this is unacceptable.

So until Apple gets to release a version of iOS 10 that doesn't kill the basic phone features, I need to return to an iteration of iOS 9. AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I can't afford to risk my alarm not waking for a third consecutive day to see if they have addressed the issue.

    Downgrading iOS is not supported.

The problem you are having is unique to your device. Try troubleshooting.

  • Air iPad with 9.3.2 Bluetooth issues

I upgraded my iPad Air to 9.3.2 and now it does not connect with all Bluetooth devices. It will not find most of them, but even if there is a discovery, it will not pair with anything.

Just before that, I reset my iPad completely and refreshed with the new iOS.  My iPad showed 700 MB of memory left in the memory usage, but when I connected to iTunes on my laptop it showed nearly 13 GB of available. I tried to remove several things, deleting and reinstalling apps, but nothing seemed to free up memory, and most of the memory is being taken over by one big yellow 'other '.  So I reset the iPad and started from scratch. When it resets itself, it is automatically downloaded 9.3.2. I didn't restore from backup, but I rebooted all the apps that I've had, and the memory issue has been resolved (I now have a little more 13 GB of available), but now I can't connect to my Bluetooth keyboard, car or speaker.

I went through the process of resetting the network settings and reset all settings. I have turned on and off Bluetooth several times. I have turned on and off other devices several times. I turned them all on and off in a different sequence. My iPad that air will not connect to any Bluetooth device.

I read that there is a significant problem for many users. Please let me know when a fix will be made available, or to explain how I can downgrade to 9.3.1.

    Hey there Bmwilking,

I understand that you are having problems with your iPad Air and you cannot connect to any Bluetooth device currently. I have an article for you with a suggestion to deal with this situation directly:

If you still cannot match or connect your Bluetooth accessory

Check with the manufacturer of Bluetooth to make sure that your accessory works with your iOS device.

Contact the Apple Support if you have any of these problems:

    • You can't turn on Bluetooth or the setting is gray.
    • You cannot connect any Bluetooth accessories with your device.
    • The accessory manufacturer has confirmed that your accessory works properly.

  • Issue installing XP on Satellite P200

I have the same problem as many others with a configuration of installation of XP not finding not all hard disks. I read through the topics of the forum dealing with this issue, but still have a problem. When you try to install the Intel Matrix Storage Manager installation crashes.

I tried the method "Press F6" and nLite method (i.e. change the installation CD to include the pilot) and the result is the same in any event. I also used two different versions of the driver, on the site of Toshiba, and one later from the Intel site, but again, the result is the same in both cases.

The driver I have try to install is the "Intel(r) 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller" as this is the one already installed for Vista. The Setup program tries to load iaStor.sys, but fails with the error ' file iaStor.sys caused an error in unexpceted (32768) at line 2108 in d:\xpclient\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c.»

The laptop model is a PSPB7E-008005EN and I downgraded the BIOS with an XP version.

Someone else has experienced this problem and better yet solved?

    One question;

Do you use the XP with SP2 preinstalled?
