try to downgrade to upgrade issues

I have a Mid 2012 i7 Macbook Pro 8 GB RAM 10.8.5 running, I need to update to 10.9 to run a specific application and keep it compatible with a printing system which is a xerox business solution that is not taken in charge spent 10.9.

I can't install the Mavericks

I am unable to make it past an error message saying: the file is corrupt

the change of date in the control panel or in the terminal (for example date 072012002016) does not allow me to go beyond
This error.

I used several sources of 10.11 image download that I got on a flash drive and backup servers.

I cannot go beyond the error if run the installer start-up

I'm unable to download from the App Store (Setup failed heading to) without falling with a mistake as it begins, she also mistake Yosemite when I try to DL on the store.

I cleaned cache app store by removing the com.apple.appstore folder.

I'm connected with my ID, I'm owner of the Mavericks and Yosemite, and they are in my purchase history.

I welcomed all remaining 10.8.5 installs to take place, but no change in behavior

I'm unable to facilitate installation with a second mac (Mac Pro 5,1/10.11.5) that supports FW800 target mode.

My OEM 10.6 installation disc is not available for the launch of 10.11, and never does not start if I choose that it starting from the startup disk. I just get the start screen of white Apple for more than 30 minutes, I am tired twice, kick into touch option shows the CD but no boot never ends. I had previously had a score of Snow Leopard which I formatted and broke into two partitions to allow Sierra beta and expected to restore from a Time Machine backup, however when I try to restore the backup of the partition 10.6 never showed as an option. I also used the CD OEM 10.6 earlier this week for a group, I believe, the CD has worked flawlessly.

Reset the PRAM and SMC on laptop

Reset the PRAM on desktop

no change in behavior.

all of the suggestions.

sudo date 010100002016 worked

My problems to surface around Thanksgiving, Christmas, he's 7 months after 3 years I had bought my Alienware.  It was a result of my first major update from Windows 7 to Windows 10.  My PC don't recognize even 10 Windows!  Instead, it / PC been force-fed Windows 10 conversion therapy through Remote Support assistance technique Microsoft.  Shortly after, in the week, was my first MOMENT BIG FREEZE, when out of nowhere, while surfing the internet entered my systems.  I could not even Ctrl + Alt + Delete for task register, fans revved up, and I couldn't do anything else the latest kind of hard reboot - disconnect the PC from socket... It would not happen again for another month or several weeks. And when my PC finally woke from its slumber of drunk and lazy, very, very slowly restarting black screen, try it is harder to take Windows or reject.  It took more time, once the main screen is running, and once he finds Windows.  My processors working OT, until finally about 15 minutes after its start in resting peacefully, the demon banished.  I could play, no problem, but when I was on a browser on the internet, and / or when I arrived 'Automatic updates of Windows' chaos, the demon returns, and the Big Freeze returned.  I know all this only in hindsight, looking back, 20-20.

It would increase only slowly, until the moment where 6 months that I have upgraded to Windows 10, she felt more fits, between half an hour sometimes a few hours at the end.  She's trying to restart, but seems completely Catatonic and unable to meet black screen alien find GOLD Windows and about every other day to once or twice a day.

I replace my hard drive, after he died, and he had pretty much cloned it from the backup of the my new SSHD, listed above.  It's now my second update in less than 2 weeks, in the second week of June 2016 now.  My third update level, all now a few weeks apart, with BIOS A06 to A11.  I don't know why or how that is never presented as lacking a upgrade.  I did a lot of checking, cleaning, defraging and even added a new Trend Micro Security to protect my investment.  AND I STILL see the hiccups like those from my old hard drive.  Nobody seems to be willing or able to diagnose this problem as a problem that pre-existed before my new hybrid Solid State drive... A few days ago, I received an error message through troubleshooting with Trend Micro and do an F5 accumulated prior to departure.  * The error Code 2000 - 8314 and Violation 119539 "- something like CPU error msg thermal 100 c 100 c thermistor PC exceeds the thermal limit out of reach."  I do not know.  Is this one of my chipset, processor or fan around my motherboard?

I want to apologize for this drag all this, but I believe that the devil is in the details.  So, thank you for your patience.  And I appreciate any input at all in my ongoing troubleshooting.  I spent enough money in the last two weeks.  And my own brain is pretty fried at this stage of troubleshooting by internet.

Now, A QUICK or a possible upgrade issues that I hope might actually alleviate part of the symptoms or even problems entirely... I would like to top off my 32 GB maximum RAM with of 4x8Go.  It seems that thought that there are very specific for my Alienware sticks, and I have to stay with this margin does not overwork anything.  I also want to do it myself, as I did with my other Dell Dimension 4700 PC.  I just need directions to wait for him, because I have other fires to put again AND / OR maps specific 8 GB RAM can I work with my R4 Aurora?

    "Play hard and go home!"

REMOVE ALL OverClocks (I suggest permanently if you want a stable system that lasts a long time)

Run Diags ePSA. Repair everything falls down before continuing.

Make sure that the machine is not overheating and SMART is good.

Use usb.iso to try a clean install of Windows 10/64-bit (for one SSD/HDD Virgin) to rebuild from scratch. Perhaps the migration of drivers and legacy applications during the installation of the upgrade was not 100% or you have an incompatible application in Win10 or the installed driver.

A real SSD is faster than any hybrid SSHD. I love real 240 GB SSD as boot C: and install only Windows and main applications on this subject.

16 GB Dual Channel Quad (4x4Go) is very well - don't mess with it.

Never used Trend-Micro-Security. On Win10/64, I use Windows Defender & firewall.

    Maybe try this:
    REMOVE ALL OverClocks
Disconnect existing SSHD (becomes a backup).
Install SSD 240 GB (or 100% perfect player)
    Clean-install Win10-64 to blank disc
Mainly use Microsoft only provided drivers from Windows Update
Install only Win10 updated applications, use Windows Defender & firewall free for now
    See how it works.

    Hello

    ·         The question is limited only with Real Player?

    Method 1:

You can try running Disk Cleanup in Windows XP, which will safely remove unused files from the computer and check if that tool:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310312

    Method 2:

You can try to install the latest codec pack from the Web site by using one of your favorite search engines and check if it helps:

  • Using my current ID and password I can connect to Adobe. When I try to download the upgrade to Flash Player they ask for ID and password. When I put in my class, it is rejected. What causes this and how can I fix it?

Using my current ID and password I can connect to Adobe. When I try to download the upgrade to Flash Player they ask for my ID and password. When I insert my current ID and password, it is rejected. How can I fix this problem? Is it a bad sign in a former ID, and/or an old password associated with Flash Player?

The password is provided by the operating system and is designed to protect you from accidentally install software.  You will get this prompt for any installation outside the context of the App Store.

If you do not need to enter a user name or password when you start your computer, you can probably just leave the password field empty when recognizing this prompt.

  • vSphere 6.0 license Standard downgrade then upgrade

    Hi guys,.

Just a quick I'm not quite clear on if possible.

Basically, I have two hosts of ESXi, an old box of 5.5 running on vSphere essentials license and a new box of 6.0 running with the standard license for vSphere.  The new server is not yet in production, and is associated with a San (current storage on the 5.5 server is local)

We have a 4 CPU license for vSphere 6.0 standard, so what I was hoping to do was downgrade 2 CPU of this license to 5.5 and apply it on the 5.5 server, this will enable vMotion and let me live migrate servers of local storage for the new San and across to the new host.  I then tried to shut down the old Server 5.5, rebuild fresh with ESXi 6.0 and then upgrade the number of processors 2 license 6.0 who have been downgraded, back to 6.0.

Is it possible to do so without incurring a cost?  I see that a downgrade is possible for free, but I'm not 100% clear on the component to upgrade.  Basically, I wanted to do it this way to avoid blackouts, but if it comes to it, then I can plan a failure, just try to scope out right now.

    Thank you.

I was wrong. I just checked and you can select 'Upgrade quantity'. I learned something new today.

From the point of view upgrade/downgrade you can make it back as long as you have a valid support contract.

original title: with Acer Aspire Vista Help
Well, here's the story, I bought an Acer aspire T180 a few years back from Best Buy with Windows Vista installed. The only drive I received was a Vista Upgrade disc. Fast forward a few months computer slows down, etc so I thought I'd see any control and maybe cleaning the system some. Put my disk to upgrade looking for the way to do it. Make the mistake of installing the upgrade. now I have the upgrade on my computer and it always tells me that I have a version of windows that is not authentic. I tried to use my COA on upgrade drive, does not recognize and COST on the case of my Aspire, once again with the same result. I have my old version under windows.old, but can't seem to install it. I would just go back to my Vista OEM install. I have access to another computer, but it is an Apple and prefer if I didn't use this option unless it makes it easier. I guess what I'm asking, it's just to get back to my legal version on this computer, would like to keep files, but if can't, I would like to do a clean reinstall. • Windows7 and Installation/upgrade issues updated Itunes: HKEY errors

I am running on a new laptop with Windows7 64 - bit OS.  I have already installed Itunes v9.0.3.15 on this computer, but when I open Itunes I got the following error:

"Warning.  ITunes has not been installed correctly.  If you want iTunes to be able to retrieve information from the internet CD, you should reinstall iTunes. »

Very well, but every time that I try to uninstall or update Itunes by installing the latest version, I get the following error at halfway through the installation process, on which the installation rolls back immediately and I'm stuck:

«Could not open key: HKEY_Local_Machine32\software\classes\.pcast.»  Check that you have sufficient access to that key or contact your support team. »

I've looked everywhere.  I saw a lot of similar questions, but none exactly the same thing on other forums, and no resolution to other questions helped.

I don't have this key in my registry editor because it is a 64-bit OS, so there is no "HKEY_Local_Machine32" only "HKEY_Local_Machine."  I have ensured that I do infact have full access to the 'HKEY_Local_Machine\software\classes\.pcast' , but the installation/uninstallation process is looking for the machine32 key.  NOTE: I am trying to install the 64-bit version of Itunes.

The itunes forums have not proven useful.  If anyone has experience/solved this problem, I would certainly appreciate any suggestions.

    Hi bburkhart,

To register permission number, install and run SubInACL to your computer to fix the permission issues.

You can get the download here:

    SubInACL (SubInACL.exe)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=e8ba3e56-d8fe-4A91-93Cf-ed6985e3927b&displaylang=en

This seems to have helped others facing a similar question.

    See this for example:

iTunes 9 install on Windows 7 64 bit

    http://discussions.Apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2153424

    That should do the fix.

Before you run the SubInACL tool, please make sure that you take a backup of your registry and also create a restore point.

Here are the links for your reference.

I upgraded yesterday afternoon to El Capitan. Everything went well, there is no problem and all my programs have remained open. I closed InDesign earlier today and I went to open again this afternoon, it crashes. Whenever I try to open it, I get the pink at the loading screen then the dialog box "InDesign quit unexpectedly. If I allow it to send an error report, I get a pop up box that says that adobe has solved the problem of crash with CS6 and 'click here' for more information. I can't click on it...
