  I bought my MacBook Pro in 2012 and have had no problems with it until recently. He started to run very slowly, while freezing and do not let me run more than two applications at once without freeze or sometimes even reboot. Recently, I ran an EtreCheck to this topic because I thought it would be a good place to start by finding out which could potentially cause these problems. Someone out there is able to tell me what that means and what issues are the potential? Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated! Thank you!

  Avoid using third-party cleaning software. This software does more harm than good. You don't need it. All computers become slower over time even in normal conditions of use. Experienced users erasing the hard drive and do a clean install from scratch, from time to time; or every time that the installation of a major update of the OS. Do means if you must maintain regular and several backups.

  Add more RAM or reduce the number of simultaneously executed from applications and utilities. Delete unnecessary anti-malware software and any software that promises to clean your Mac. Look for the runaway process: Runaway applications can shorten the battery life, affect performance and increase the heat and fan activity. Also, visit The FAQ XLab and read the FAQ on the treatment with The Spinning Beach Ball of Death.

  Back up everything, wipe the drive, reinstall OS X and restore your data from backup. Reinstall the third-party software of original/zero media.

• Privacy &amp; Security EtreCheck

  I'm trying to solve a problem of security and confidentiality. As an Admin user, I cannot unlock Security & Privacy to make changes now. However, I can still open users and groups. By a different debate, it has been suggested that I have download EtreCheck and view the results. Run first reported some adware that I already deleted and can't test. The problem with Security & Privacy is still there. I am concerned about the many invalid signatures in EtreCheck report below. I guess I worry a bit with the note below average but more with the signatures not valid.

  
  

  Yesterday I ran disk utility checks on the computer (27 "iMac, mid-2010) and also directed TechTool for several hours. Unfortunately, the TechTool run was interrupted before the final report is issued. The race of TechTool is probably slowed down because I have two hard drives external, used for backups Time Machine and Carbon Copy Cloner attached. I'll remove those until I run TechTool again.

  You seem to have serious filesystem corruption (I don't know how you managed to have TextEdit appear in the log of the accident) but recovery would require probably digging through logs console for additional clues.

  Since you have double redundant backups, I would be tempted to boot from an external restore partition, reformat the hard drive and start over from scratch with a clean reinstall and restoration at most only files/user profiles.

• MacAir slow Yosemite 10.10.5 running. Can anyone interpret this info from Etrecheck?

  Maybe someone could help these problems with El Capitan.

  List of issues after upgrade to El Capitan:

  1 of many restarts! After I close the lid, and open the computer turns off and restarts to start screen, sometimes I write the password and restart again. Sometimes restarts with lid open when asked for password.

  2. with the lid closed, I connect the power adapter and the computer restarts and boots the system as with the lid open (strange)

  3 Wi - Fi based on every day: always connect to wifi with weaker signal even if they are not in the list...

  4 mail app is always ask comfirming certificates

  5. everyday or after every unwanted reboot I have to manually set the time & date

  6. after the upgrade everything in itunes was messed up

  These are just the majority of problems that comes with El Capitan. If someone found how to solve this problem, I will be grateful.

  Most of the problems are the result of old and software incompatible or antivirus or "cleaner" installed before the update software.

  You may first want to start safe mode (hold down the SHIFT key immediately after pressing power and until the Apple logo appears) own caches and others and see if it improves things. You must also run Etrecheck and publish his report here, to see who are the likely culprits.

• Appeal iPhone issues 7 more

  I recently bought the new iPhone 7 more.  Not only am I having problems with the LTE service, bounce back between 3 G and no service I am now having problems with call connectivity.  When you try to make an outgoing call, I get an automatic response from my carrier (Verizon) "it's Verizon, we are unable to complete your call at this time, please turn off your phone and back and try again."

  It is a known issue with the iPhone 7 and Verizon. Supposed to be Apple and Verizon are seeking him. It has been a problem since the phone was released. Do a Google search or search here on the forums for a temporary solution but not a cure.  But basically to stop the LTE oice and data into data only in the settings.

• 10.10.5 slow transformation after 13/09/16 auto updates installed! 20 min. to get this issue out! Any ideas?

  Ver.10.10.5 OS X Yosemite

  Updates to OS X Yosemite Ver.10.10.5 months made me back with an operating system that now the overloads of the processor with "out of memory of the application' opinion arise within the App to leave forced.  Just type this memory marked a step back to the old 286 days of treatment of 30 years, despite only active application!

  You don't seem to be indexed (mds) and maybe make a backup as well. NOTHING slows down your Mac. He turns as quickly as possible, a lot of free memory and shows without well-known actors 'bad '.

  This leaves "lack of hard drive" as the last always suspect on the list.

• iPhone 6 more hang freeze issues

  My iPhone 6 more guard suspended (gel) for the past 6 months, I have to reset the whole phone sometimes up to 2 times just to get it to work again. Been a loyal (including my entire family) custome since gen 1 iPhone, iPad, mac book. Am really disappointed with the quality now. Did not bring to the service center since the first day of the problem because I thought that was just a few bugs & was sure that apple will fix it, but after many update of iOS so far, the pesisit still problem.

  iPhone is more quality I've known, hope apple can fix this problem before finally losing the most loyal customers

• Pages on issues of formatting to iCloud

  Hey everybody,

  I created a document Pages using the Pages application on my macbook pro I downloaded then to iCloud Pages so that I can access it from any computer. The issue I'm having is that I formatted some of the text to have a black background and the text to yellow color. For the life of me I can't understand how to change the background color of text on the Pages of iCloud. I beginning to think that changing the background color of text just is not possible on the platform of iCloud, but wanted to put this out there just to make sure.

  I appreciate any help or clarification on this issue.

  Background (highlight) text color controls are absent in the Pages for iCloud, because it is a subset of Pages for Mac.

  This has been discussed in a previous post here, not so long ago.
