• VCD 1.5 is not provisioning vms in all data stores

  Hi Experts,

  could someone help me to find why my VCD 1.5 is not put into service of VM in all data stores.

  I have three NFS data warehouses in a VCD and I see that it is not sharing the load between data warehouses. If a volume reached 99% always it is not available on the other Volume that has free space. I heard VCD works on the Round Robin process and also distributes the VM; s in data warehouses.

  With the quick commissioning, we will use the same data store (NFS in your case) that has the existing tree clone linked until you reach the Red threshold of free space.

  Maybe it's not practical with quick commissioning, because once you have 3 GB left... is not a lot of room for the related to grow clones.

  If you want to force the issue, increase the threshold red to something much more on data warehouses.  for example 25% of capacity.

  This will trigger placing of NEW virtual machines on different data stores.

  Usually nothing happens, so I press the switch to stop and start again and again, usually up to four times

  Your system is running Windows 10, it can refer to the quick start being activated.

  The Pros and Cons Windows 10 "quick commissioning" Mode -howtogeek.com using this document, you can try disabling the quick start and see if that helps.

• HP Envy 700-230qe desktop PC

  I bought the computer of the object at the end of December and received my PC shipped in just one week from when he was ordered to hp.com.  Good.  Bravo for delivery before the date of your promise!

  I had problems when I turned it on. Then on the phone for 2 hours with a tech and slept inside the case, we determined that the cables have reached the fan on the video card, causing bad noise, I had to start.  So far so good.

  Motherboard failed after the installation and activation of the software.  Tech was helpful, but he had me open the case and spend a few hours of trouble shooting, pulling RAM, HDD cables, resettlement, etc..  Specific motherboard failed and warranty issues began.  Stuff with new material of this complexity can occur.  I understand. Congratulations to your tech team to work with me and help me help them.  It's good to get the issues resolved quickly.

  They told me it would take 2 weeks to fix computer (including shipping costs).  Because I needed a computer earlier, I determined that it would be easier to computer same reorganization and RME' former g.  So far so good.

  What nobody told me - it will take 23 Jan (20 days) for HP rebuild then 2 days more delivery - to get it to me. It is roughly 15 days longer than the first time to build for the new client!  The best approach from their point of view has been completely buy a new one, and then have it refunded once you receive.  NO GO you already have nearly 1300 dollars of my mony - then it would still not built until January 16 (11 days)!

  You all need to get your act together.  This is my 8th HP computer. My whole family uses. Generally, we were happy with the the customer service and the quality of HP products.  But I'm getting a bitter taste on HP now after that!  I would like someone of senior management at HP inform on this type of treatment (without fault the tech guy and the sales representatives who do their job) by the company of your guests.  You sent me a defective product. You should do it right as quickly as possible.  Keeps me a loyal customer.

  I work in a place of high use computer.  I'm having a hard time to recommend HP to the people who buy after the experience of this kind - unless you can get your act together.  I have dealt with other companies in the past. I am happy, they went out of business - as their technical support and customer service was bad and they used bad quality products.

  The customer service is very important to you. Please let me know how I can speak with someone at HP management on this issue.  This isn't the type of treatment that will get the business for you.

• Camileo S10 - white dead in modes HD Pixel

  I bought a S10 yesterday and have noticed a huge problem. When I shoot in any mode HD there is a dead pixel (white) that floats above the middle screen sequence.

  I would like to for clarification on this issue as quickly as possible otherwise it's back to the store for another camera?

  You have this white pixel only on the monitor or recorded videos?

  The LCD screens may have 1 or 2 dead pixels. That's normal.
  But if you have this pixel dead on the recorded videos you should contact the nearest authorized service provider. It seems that there is something wrong with the image sensor

• Power button blinks T420 during shutdown

  Hi guys, I just got a refurbished T420 runs 10 Windows on a SSD, and it seems to work well.

  Did some research on the quick commissioning. If what I found, it's true, windows does by saving an image of the Windows kernel and loaded drivers on the hiberfile (C:\hiberfil.sys) on stop so when you restart your PC, Windows loads just the hiberfile (C:\hiberfil.sys) in memory to take back your PC instead of restarting it. This could be the reason for which only the power LED flashes and a beep. I noticed that when the power led is flashing, the hdisk indicator flashes like writing a file somewhere and will beep when finished. But positive step is logical.

  FYI, the login screen power off is 15.6 seconds and input of password Full saturated office another 16 seconds. He takes over software antivirus and malware.

  Your storage array will need support for the Fast file primitive Clone, which is exclusively NAS, so if you have based on blocks of storage you can not use this feature.

  We demand that the DRS is turned on.  You will need to create a cluster (regarless of who in need), put the host in this cluster, enable drs in manual mode.
  Put vCenter/vCloud at the origin of the cluster to use these resources.
  Make a pool of resources and reserves (minimum values) the value to something substantial.  This will eventually become your pool of resources 'Provider', and you want to make sure that your minimum is guaranteed once you put it into vCloud Director.
  Recognize that the left all the resources of this pool are what vCenter/vCloud must work with.
  • What is the minimum I need to purchase?  Should I have the Suite Enterprise cloud to get the self-service portal and fast commissioning or is there a cheaper version?

  It would be better to talk to a sales representative.  If you buy the "vcloud suite" of any teir, it will let you install and use vCloud Director.  I think all versions will give you quick commissioning and the portal (vCloud Director himself).

  You will always need a Red Hat operating system license to install vCloud Director for deployment supported, or CentOS to a deploymnet not supported.  The vCloud unit would also work, but it's only for the proof of Concept (last I heard).

  If you do not use the device, you must also support Oracle or MS SQL DB Server to host the database of vCloud.  SQL Express to vCenter won't work (default) because it only supports local connections and other limits (total size of DB)

  The difference in versions will affect what you get with it... once again talk about sales exactly what you need.   But I think the standard should be suitable for you.

  • I can script the creation of VMs fast-provisioned?

  You just enable rapid Provisioning on the vDC organization, assuming that it is supported.  Once that done, all operations which should make a clone related shall be a linked clone.

  • How can I search Subforums here?

  Go to the forum you want to search for and use the search box.  Do not hit enter or anything like that.  You should get quick results with options, and there is a link "Search only.  Then see all the results.

• Why is it auto-play?

  I have a few slides with narration of TTS.  I want to than those who recorded audio to advance to the next slide automatically.  For some reason, they do not.  I can't find where the break is on my calendar.  I have several slides with this issue, but quick series here are some screenshots to give you an idea:

  Found!  Cabin dance, everybody, let's go!  Someone else on my team had placed a smart form of filling of race 0 0 on the master slide.  At a certain point in the design cycle we thought that the lesson would have the slides that should require the user then hit, so we threw a break in the master.  We both forgot about it as the lesson has grown and we have placed next/back buttons visible everywhere pause was necessary.  I deleted the form and all is well.

  In any case, thanks to try guys, but we got it in the bag.  Sueinbend, you can check your slide masters to see if you have similar trash hide in there.  I'll take a second look at your message and read more about your particular situation.  I have never converted from powerpoint rather than build it from scratch, but if I come across an answer out there in my internet wanderings I'll let you know.

• 3 parties (Clients) can upload files to CC?

  I'm looking for a video file of 4 Gig to be downloaded from a client on my creative cloud of online storage, the file is obviously too big for the free version of drop box.  So I thought I could use creative cloud for this but I can't find anyway to allow guest access or provide a download address.    Any advice?   Is it still possible?

  You can't ask your client to download the files to your cloud storage creative (2 GB for the trial) and 20 GB for subscribed users. You can download the files in the cloud creative if you are connected to creative.adobe.com with your adobe ID and password.

  However Cloud Creative currently has problems with a small number of file types. Previews and download conversions will be delayed for these files. We are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
