• Multisim for transfer Ultiboard Glitch

  Hello

  We have made many PCBS using Multisim as our software for schematic capture and Ultiboard for layout. The last room back does not work because the netlist in the schema is incompatible with the netlist in the provision of one piece (which is used several times on the map). Not only all the pins are reversed, but one of the pins is quite non-connected. Since the 8 pins are connected to the schematic side, this clearly isn't simply a matter of mixed up of PIN, but when I annotate with impatience, it is said that found no difference.

  I went through and double and triple checked the symbol, the footprint and mapping of the PIN, and everything is OK. As a witness, I created a new schema with nothing else that the part in question and transferred to Ultiboard, and everything was OK.

  Everyone knows about this problem before? This is a known bug and is there any workaround or recommended solution to avoid something like this happening in the future (outside routing by hand and without taking into account the ratsnest altogether).

  Please contact our support group.   You should not see this question in v11.0.   I'm not aware of the important issues with annotation front/rear, since we redesigned the annotation capability and improved reliability in v11.0 (from 10.1).

• Several weird, sudden problems in Multisim, Ultiboard interface

  I have several sudden problems that arose when trying to review a design that changed, I worked on a couple of months ago.

  Multisim 10.0.343 strangeness:

  1. by clicking on a Multisim, Multisim project file opening, but the project file does not open. By clicking on 'Open' Multisim has the same effect. If I manually open the circuit, the entire project opens as well.

  2. I can no longer double click on a component and change the footprint; the button "Replace" is also disabled. I can always change the footpring of spreadsheet view.

  3. the icons for the placement of the pieces have changed to blue squares with black patterns (from grey buttons with color schemes).

  4. multiple drop-down menus in the top bar disappeared ('reports' is the only one that comes to mind, but the list is significantly smaller).

  5 ' transfer' menu has only one option - transfer to Ultiboard 10. There is no rear annotation or annotation.

  6. Select 'Transfer to Ultiboard 10' open the splash screen for Ultiboard and gives me the option to choose a file name, but nothing opens after that. There is no blocking or error - just nothing opens.

  On a separate note: the last time I did a major revision of this circuit, I changed a lot of net names. NET names, however, has not changed; for example, I renamed a node 'Gsyn' to 'Gs '. The 'Gs' appears in the worksheet view and the properties of the net, but 'Gsyn' always appears on the diagram and is not suppressible.

  Ultiboard 10.0.1 strangeness:

  1. the renumbering of the components in the design menu translates into a sort of re-assignment pad, causing many connection errors.

  2. same mistake earlier in the forums without response: after before annotate Multisim earlier, the list of included changes 'edit the existing component XX' for each component in the design, regardless of whether the component has been modified or not.

  3 when you place a trace which is too close to other tracks by my rules of design, I sometimes get advice 'cannot create (1) drop of water ". The program is then suspended until I click on something other than Ultiboard (show Desktop, switch to another program, etc.) When I go back to Ultiboard, the program of the United-grip Nations - but then it works super slowly, no display of updates for a few seconds and zoom in and out in pieces. I have to close and reopen the file to continue working.

  Any help would be appreciated - I'm on a deadline, and both programs are more or less completely unusable now.

  It is difficult to tell what is the problem with the annotation to the front without looking at the Multisim and Ultiboard files. If you can, please create a service request to ni.com/ask and send us the files.

  1. When you annotate forward, the PIN does not change is the imprint that has changed.  If the footprint currently on the design before annotate before is different from the PIN that is in your library, when you transfer annotate, Ultiboard will update the fingerprint with that of your database, this may explain what you see.

  2. you need to compare the fingerprint in your schema with what is on the printed circuit, if the fingerprint matches, Ultiboard will get what is on the circuit board to the wide and place a new there.  Take a look at the knowledge base of Unplaced Pieces after annotate with impatience , he can explain what you see.

  If it's all for you so, can I get more details about this issue? The DXF files and your work ultiboard would be ideal to start to see what I can do to help you. There are many things that you need to support importing DXF files (take layered account, connections, etc.) and sometimes it raises problems of compatibility, but there is no limit with the educational version about the import/export of dxf files.

• Ultiboard 9 will not export separate layers Gerber

  I just modified a circuit that I had built earlier (this is revision 2) and when I tried to export it, each layer was given the same file "xxx.gbr".  I tried all sorts of things, but it's always the same.  Finally, I changed the end of each layer to "xxx - top.gbr copper', 'xxx' file - copper bottom.gbr, etc.  He worked for the most part, but when I looked in the Gerber Viewer, I couldn't find the files of the drill.  I could have got both of them involved that I guessed what file came next.

  I have download MultiSim 12 today, and he wanted me to evaluate Ultiboard 12 (although I have not).  I went ahead and took off 12 MultiSim in my computer, but it made no difference.  Any help would be appreciated.  I don't want to fix my files publicly, but would send them behind closed doors.

  To make the point on this problem:

  For health reasons, I was diverted from this issue for a few days.  During this time it occurred to me that I should try to export from a previous design that had previously exported correctly.  What I've done and that design has exported as it was assume.  Then I went back to my conception of the problem, and now it exports correctly!  I have no answer for that other than switch possibly some internal was lifted as my old fixed design.  I don't know if the upgrade of software OR update service had something to do with this problem or not.

  I recently bought the new iPhone 7 more.  Not only am I having problems with the LTE service, bounce back between 3 G and no service I am now having problems with call connectivity.  When you try to make an outgoing call, I get an automatic response from my carrier (Verizon) "it's Verizon, we are unable to complete your call at this time, please turn off your phone and back and try again."

  It is a known issue with the iPhone 7 and Verizon. Supposed to be Apple and Verizon are seeking him. It has been a problem since the phone was released. Do a Google search or search here on the forums for a temporary solution but not a cure.  But basically to stop the LTE oice and data into data only in the settings.

• iPhone 6 more hang freeze issues

  My iPhone 6 more guard suspended (gel) for the past 6 months, I have to reset the whole phone sometimes up to 2 times just to get it to work again. Been a loyal (including my entire family) custome since gen 1 iPhone, iPad, mac book. Am really disappointed with the quality now. Did not bring to the service center since the first day of the problem because I thought that was just a few bugs & was sure that apple will fix it, but after many update of iOS so far, the pesisit still problem.

  iPhone is more quality I've known, hope apple can fix this problem before finally losing the most loyal customers

• Pages on issues of formatting to iCloud

  I created a document Pages using the Pages application on my macbook pro I downloaded then to iCloud Pages so that I can access it from any computer. The issue I'm having is that I formatted some of the text to have a black background and the text to yellow color. For the life of me I can't understand how to change the background color of text on the Pages of iCloud. I beginning to think that changing the background color of text just is not possible on the platform of iCloud, but wanted to put this out there just to make sure.

  Background (highlight) text color controls are absent in the Pages for iCloud, because it is a subset of Pages for Mac.

• External hard drive mounting issues on MacOS Sierra

  After upgrading to OS Sierra, I found that my USB3 drives, directly connected to my iMac end of 2012, turn off at startup. USB 2 disks are unaffected and connect properly. The only way to access my USB3 disks is to disconnect and reconnect every time I start the computer, then they are ok. I tried to reset the NVRAM, but it did not work. I found Os El Capitan until this issue is resolved.

  Try to run this program in your usual account, then copy and paste the result in a response.   I have a new iPhone 7 jet black, so far I'm in love. But yesterday, I noticed an annoying problem. The phone loses the network connection (cell to the & t) and he no reconnect, it will remain just it saying no service. I have to go in airplane mode and outside to force it to look for the network connection.

• Backup issues after upgrade to iOS10

  Dear users of Apple,

  I updated my iphone 6 more yesterday with iOS 10. Phone works quite well. But I have my phone backup problems. I usually back up my phone with my iTunes Macbook (Via cable and sometimes on wifi). But after the update to iOS 10 it seems that I can't back up my phone more. I don't know the real cause of this problem.

  1. I am not able to save my iPhone via wifi data in iTunes. (Previously it was not the case).

  2. I tried to back up my phone using the cable also. Also, I pressed "Trust" this computer, but I get this error message. Please see below.

  Also, I allowed my computer by disconnecting iTunes and logging back there. And yet I have the same issues.

  "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because an invalid response was received from the device."

  Does anyone know what this answer is invalid can be?

  Do I have to change the settings in my phone or iTunes?

  Before the summer I bought a Huawei P9 phone, I can easily see the photos on the phone - I can't just them on my mac.  When I connect via a USB cable, it refuses my permissions.

  I try to use my Google account to view on the Mac and move the iPhoto - I can't work either! I can see them, I can't move them!

  You need the phone provider support - there is a problem with the way their phone works and how to use it and has nothing to do with the Photos or iPhoto - if pictures is consistent with standards of good Photos and iPhoto won't work with it

  You may need special third party software for your phone load in Photos or iPhoto
