Issue of Windows photo gallery
The photos that I download from the internet is no longer light up in my photo on my C drive folder, when well even that's the default option. They're going to a folder on my drive of J. How can I get them back in my photo on my C drive folder?
I used to click on the download by the pic button. A box would pop up asking which program to use my default is Windows Photo Gallery, WPG, and I click on save file.
Now the peak open automatically with WPG and in the upper left corner was a copy to the Gallery option. I clicked on that and the photo appeared in my photo on my C drive folder.
I have more happens. The peak is no longer opens. It is automatically saved to my J drive in a different folder. I don't want to go back to be saved in my picture folder and if it is not possible at least peak, folder where it will.

picture messaging and video
Hi kstormu812,
Welcome to Microsoft answers forums!
I would like to know the following information to help focus in the right direction.
a. don't you make changes to the computer before this problem?
b. don't you make changes to the windows photo gallery settings?
c. What is the exact error message and error code?
d. you are able to see other images saved on the computer with no problems?
e. What is the file format of the photos or videos?
If you have a third party photo editing software, try removing it and see if that will help.
Note: Please try this step only if you can recover the program.
Gallery Photo will show images with any of these file types:
· BMP, JPEG, JFIF, TIFF, PNG, WDP
If Windows Movie Maker is installed, photo library will also play videos in these types of files:
· ASF, AVI, MPEG, WMV.
If you view files, that are other than the files listed above, you will need to convert them to the format mentioned above.

PC control is no longer the printer to print in color from the windows photo gallery
printer will receive the photo of the Gallery, but will only print in black and white. I printed a test page for my printer without going through the computer and it will print in color. Also, if I scan a picture and print it, it is printed in color, so I don't think that my printer is the problem. I think that my computer does not have my printer to print in color?
I think my problem is in the Windows Photo Gallery rather than on the computer that sends a command to the printer?
I recently had some viruses removed from the computer and I wonder if in the process of fixing that, the person at the other end may have changed the settings or something related to sending a command from the PC to the printer? Is this possible?
Hello
1. what operating system is installed on your computer?
2. What is the brand and model of the printer and the computer?
3. have you made changes on your computer?
If you are using windows 7, I suggest you to see link and check.

When I want to work with a photo in Windows xp home, I use the Windows Photo Gallery. I can open the photo, crop the photo very well, but when I want to adjust the settings and I say "Fix", the photo becomes a black rectangle, so I do not see what effect have adjustments on the photo before I have record improvements, so I have to go all the way back and open up to see the changes. Is there a solution to this?

following steps may be worth a try:You can select multiple by holding your CTRL key while left
by clicking on the thumbs. When all are selected (highlighted) right
Click on the first go, then choose Rename from the menu.(be sure to completely release the mouse button after each click
because if you drag the group selected before the mouse

Title: Windows original Photo Gallery and Windows Movie Maker
Windows Movie Maker and windows photo gallery. picture of Windows live and Windows Live Movie Maker. What is the difference between these programs and who is better and easier to work with?
The answer is all one could expect from a "Microsoft Support Engineer". "." It is not an answer, it is a lazy response that obscures the issue. Who the * wants to sit here by clicking on the reference links? Try to take the time to answer the question correctly and clearly. The fact is that Windows Movie Maker, despite its flaws, is logical and easy to learn. Windows Live Movie Maker is the product of developers geeks trying to justify their work by producing a piece of absurd confusion that would be considered to be an 'upgrade' because it seems different from its predecessor. The fact is that Windows Movie Maker is MORE like film professional software publisher of Live Movie Maker, which is just no unwanted standard which is more like a project of diploma a graduate programmer. Movie Maker design allowed me to make the easy transition to the most advanced professional software, but this can never be achieved with the Windows Live Movie Maker, which is ridiculously long as stupid as his name.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack1 and use Windows Photo Gallery to managemy photos. I like the fact that I can integrate tags and ratings in JPEG files.
I just noticed though, that the tag is no longer to be stored in the JPEG file. I know because when I saw the properties of the file tag information I have in the Windows Photo Gallery is not present. If I try to change the properties directly, I get an error message stating:
An unexpected error prevented the operation. Make a note of this error code, which might be useful if you get additional help to resolve this problem: 0x88982F50 error: No. Error Description available.
I checked the file isn't read-only etc.
I searched Microsoft.com for this error and have found no help. I searched the internet and have seen many forums to raise this issue, but I can't find a solution.
Note that when I try to fix an image in Windows (eye of harvest/red etc.) Photo Gallery, I also get an error that says I can't save the changes.
For me, it looks like a component is faulty or missing, but how is it resolved?

1. have you made changes on the computer recently?
2. What is the file of the video file extension?
3. is that the problem is specific to a video file in the Windows Photo Gallery?
Method 1.
Start the computer in safe mode and check if that helps.

Hi, I've seen other posts on this problem here, but have yet to see someone follow up and report on a solution that worked. So I ask you once again. Hi John,.
Thanks for the quick response! After that, I tried the reallocation of photo gallery Windows Live as the default application for photo files. So when I saw your response, I followed it for Windows Live. I don't understand what you mean by "you'll have to recataloguer." I changed the name of the file, and then open the photo gallery, according to the instructions. But shortly after a stop too it (a few minutes with 'Live,' immediate versus with regular photo gallery).
What I started to do, is try to copy old photos from a CD on this relatively new computer. They would not copy. Then I tried to select 'Import pictures' rather than 'open folder '. That's when I noticed the problem with the photo gallery Windows stops immediately. It seems to be the same problem another user has pointed out - Data Execution Prevention stops the program. But I can not turn off DEP for library - it will not allow him. I tried an update, or a DEP-compatible version, but found none.
Here's a maybe stupid question: can I just move to another photo application? Aren't my files always in there somewhere, accessible by another application? Or am I totally off base regarding how it works?
Thanks for the ideas!

New catalogue means when you rename or delete the .pd4 file... your Photo
Gallery will return to the way it was the first time that you opened. The
Photo Gallery will fill again. It may be interesting to try to uninstall Windows Live Photo Gallery (you can not
uninstall Windows Photo Gallery). And if it is a recent issue... it can be
worth a try to restore the system to an hour before it began.Yes you can use another software... IrfanView, Picasa and FastStone Image
Spectator got three which may be worth a try (all free).Your photos are probably in your pictures folder.
Good luck.

It takes a long time to remove the images of the Windows Photo Gallery.
original title: delete time on photo gallery
It takes forever to delete photos on my photo gallery of Windows Vista. I've never had this problem before. Any suggestions? Jan
Hello
1. you receive an error message when you try to delete the photos from Windows Photo Gallery?
2 have you made any changes to the system before the show?
3 IS the issue limited to Windows Photo Gallery?
4. are you able to delete photos or other files from other programs without any problem?
Please provide more information on the issue so that we can better help you.
Windows Photo Gallery is designed to automatically display the pictures and videos stored in the folder of images on your computer. You can change the contents of the Gallery at any time by adding and removing folders, which is convenient if store you some of your photos and videos in one location other than the folder of photos on your computer. You can also add pictures and videos to photo gallery without adding the entire folder.

Color looks faded when you print pictures in Windows Photo Gallery
When I print a picture of Windows Photo Gallery, the color is not at all clear, but very thirsty. When I print a color document, the color is fine. I have a new cartridge is installed. Is there a way to lighten the color when printing? I can't even use my printed photos because they are so bad.

cannot burn cd in windows photo gallery
I have a problem with the windows photo gallery. I can burn an audio cd or data cd in microsoft office etc but I can not burn photos to a cd by using windows photo gallery or kodak easy share.
It is not an issue that will be fixed anytime soon.
Use windows Explorer and drag and drop, or copy - paste the E-drive list or continue using office.
Is there a mistake?
Burning options are under the dark blue, point to burn file button, click on burn data, have you tried to use dvd - R discs?
Or right click and select format on the cd, it will erase all information may be corrupt disk along with all files so if they are not empty do not, unless you want to recycle the discs.
