  • Smartphones Ringtone blackBerry question, delayed

I just got my Blackberry Curve - my first Smartphone - and for love or money, I don't know how to change the ringtone.  Profiles, or the phone icon seem to allow me to do anything except make it stronger, softer or vibrate.  Yet, I found the ringtones in the part 'media' of the phone.  How can I choose one of these cooler to be general ringtones?

On your device, press menu, profiles, scrool up to advanced, normal or one who is active and yo can change the sounds for each application.

  • Smartphone Ringtones blackBerry will not be displayed on the device, but are on my card.

I put mp3 ringtones on my 9530 via Media Manager in Desktop Manager 5.  I did several battery grips and the tones I put on it will not show up in my ringtones.  I put them on the map of support and no device.  I tried a second time and two of each tone appear in the Media Manager, but not on the device.  I had this happen before, but usually a battery pull fixes the device.  Help please.

    Hello

Go to the hidden file /ringtones show and remove the BBTHMBS. DAT file it as an index to theBlackberry file.

Traction battery, let the device reindex and see if they appear.

    Thank you

No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.
Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is corrected.

  • Update of Smartphones from blackBerry Curve 9360 - lost all ringtones

    Hi all

yesterday I updated my BB Curve 9360 to software version 7.1 Paket 2814.

Unfortunately I lost all my standard ringtones and I have found no solution to get back them. The only way is to buy new.

Does any body know a fix for this?

    Thanks in advance

    Concerning

    Ingo

If you like everything about the new operating system but miss ringtones of your previous operating system, I suggest doing a search for "download ringtones BlackBerry OS6" (or whatever OS you had). I know that CrackBerry has always a selection of ringtones to download along with instructions to do so.

    I hope that helps you.

What strategies companies follow when choosing a Smartphone in BlackBerry JDE?

I guess, since you are in a Java forum, that you plan to Java development.  There are a number of other options.  But looking at Java:

You are concenred about what level of JDE?  Look here:

    http://com-BlackBerry-us-5p.WWWA.com/developers/choosingtargetos.jsp

Or choice JDE or Eclipse?  If so choose Eclipse.

If I have not answered your question, can you be more specific?

  • Smartphones BBid blackBerry problem

My 9320 does not recognize my BBID. I tried the password reset, what does not work. I'm now up to 9 attempts, and the next attempt will lock me up. Any ideas what I can do. I can't seem to find what to do on the blackberry site, all the tips keep telling me to change my password working isn' there. I get the error message "enter the username associated with this smart phone. How can I find out what my correct username with my phone?

It may be that when it was entered, there was a spelling error and what we think it should be wrong.

If that's the case, then this account ID to BB is probably lost for good... all activities must have access to the email address and the email address is the same as the user name, if there is a mistake, then there is no way to receive emails of validation required in order to continue to use this BB ID.

Yes... that's indeed what you need TO do in order to change the real ID of BB that is associated with the BB:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones ringtone incoming and its sound call all get silent automatically

    Dear BB support,

    I have new mobile Blackberry

    Details in the following way:

    BlackBerry 9900

    7.0 bundle 1465 (v7.0.0.296, platform 5.0.0.496)

    Band 3G 1,2,5,6

    Help of the kernel v3.8.7.0

The question that I get is often mobile becomes silent automatically no ringtone sounds , when I get an incoming call arrives only display, when I receive call I can't hear anything. Remove your battery while your phone is off will do nothing to help.  You must ensure that your phone is always on when you remove your battery.

(And while you're here, please remove your e-mail address of your post.  Personal information, such as e-mail addresses, are not allowed in messages.)

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Ringtone still does not not after August update

I have an AT & T unlocked priv. Since I can't get the OTA updates because I'm on Tmo. I reload the OS whenever it is available on the BlackBerry site. Since contact ringtones did not work when I got the update MM, I jumped on the August update that came out this week. displays contacts ringtones don't always work. Any suggestion? Frustrated by that.

I called support of BB. and it seems that the contact ringtone problem is not resolved in the update of AAG153 for AT & T. They were working actively on this issue.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones ringtones and wait ringtones

Is it possible for me to make my own ringtones and ringtones of waiting for my Blackberry Curve 8330 to my own Collection of CD and if so, how? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

As long as the music is in .wav or mp.3 format you can make your own ringtones. You can't make your own ringtones of waiting, they are on the server of carriers and not kept in the BB.

I use a program called wavpad for editing the song and creating the tone.

Beware to not leave your phone on fort well, ZYDECO will have everybody dancin upward!

If it responds to your message, please correct usig star options on the yellow Kudo.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Ringtone question

OK, when someone calls me, my phone begins to vibrate 3 times before the start of the ring, where can I find the options to change the duration of the vibration? I know it's the same menu of options when you choose how hard your ringtone is. Thanks in advance for answers!

    Hi wrs0124:

Locate the PROFILES icon on the Blackberry phone. Open and go to ADVANCED options and you can create or edit a new profile.

The current profile will be considered as active. To change the current profile, use the menu button while you have the profile highlighted and the "Edit" menu

  • BlackBerry Smartphones ringtones

Just picked up a used 9360

All works except ringtones; for all listed when I try to use.say invalid ring

    How can I activate them

You don't "turn on" a ringtone. It of there or not.

Go to this URL using your Blackberry browser and see if it will play or download.

    https://www.box.com/z10ringtones

Otherwise, you can down load them on your PC and transfer them to your BlackBerry.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones ringtone vibrate option

Hi all! IM new to bb, just got a "BOLD" yesterday. v happy lol

wondering if he was able to play the incoming call ringtone and vibrate at the same time? so far, only apparently that vibrate first and then play the vibrant ringtonewithout.

can someone help me? or is it just the way it is.

Yes, but not in the native BlackBerry operating system.

You will need a third-party application to perform this function.
