• 12.5.1 iTunes fails to install (new)

  My Toshiba Portege running Win7 fails to install iTunes 12.5.1.  It's the same problem, I met years ago with 6464 installers, but found the installer for old video cards work perfectly.  Apparently someone at Apple decided to not (yet) offer Setup for older video cards for 12.5.1.  I spent 6 hours so far today tried a multitude of settings with installer 6464.  In the meantime I have remove all the Apple software in the prescribed sequence and restart.  I've got rights admin - so what happens?  I'm headed to 12.4.3 now so I can communicate with my new iPhone SE.

  Okay - I found my own solution, but he was buried in the documents to help around to install iTunes on Windows. Apparently I can't find the version of iTunes for older video cards directly by Apple, but there was a link in the help to the 12.5.1 document version.  With the download of the iTunes64Setup (not the 6464), I was able to successfully install 12.5.1! Now, I can't wait for the next update see how much fun it will be to locate the 64 version...

• ITunes ignores some of my photos when importing

  I do the work of professional photography for some clients, and each day I import dozens of photos in the library of the ipad using wifi sync. Sometimes (rare), some of the pictures simply do not do in the ipad for some reason any.

  Today, I noticed that a specific folder has 7 photos inside, but when I sync, only 3 of these pictures go to the ipad. The four others he'll never no matter what I try. The photos are all a good size (not too big), came from the same camera, same treatment, even resize, but for some reason, these 4 photos will not enter the ipad.

  ITunes does not seem to work well with my 750 Intel pci-e SSD. I recently changed my OS to a conventional Sata SSD and now itunes seems to be able to get all the photos on the ipad, have not seen a single failure so far.

  I suggest that Apple looks at such things, Pci-e SSDS are more popular and I think that there is an incompatibility with itunes and files when you use this type of drive.

  A common cause of this behavior is files .m3u being present in the files that are added to the library. You can remove these first. Or you can use iTunes folder Watch.

  Hi Jack,

  (1) short answer: Yes, it is possible to get the timeline in /, but only in special circumstances and with a lot of coding.  I wouldn't really recommend it.  Can you explain how this is important for your workflow?

  An importer can access the timeline, but it is only a reference to the timeline during the imGetPrefs8 (when the user has double-clicked the clip in the timeline panel).  In addition, in the timeline, the importer can only identify it is the element in the Assembly if the file exists on the disc, and if there is only one instance of this element in the timeline.

  In the imGetPrefsRec, the timelineData member provides this access.  This PrTimelineID can be used as a result of Segment of video to get access to the timeline, analyze and locate the clip.  It is quite involved but possible.  The code VideoSequenceParser::ParseSequence() Utils/SDK_Segment_Utils.cpp shows how to parse the timeline.  You will need to find the media node by looking for the one with the path used by the custom importer.  From there, you can query the properties of the media node to find the in and out point.

  (2) you can not drive reading the chronology of a plug-in at this point.

  This type of error can be fixed by removing the offending dll, then fix the component it is programs and features Control Panel. CoreAudioToolbox.dll belongs to Apple Application Support and can normally be found in:

  C:\Program Files\Fichiers Files\Apple\Apple Application Support or

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support.

  For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

  The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

  Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

  More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

  You receive errors related to updates?

• ITunes fail to burn discs on my XP PC

  I loaded the latest version of iTunes on my XP computer and found that I could not burn a CD of my playlist has received an error message "no disk found" and 'records are missing', even if I can download songs from this album on iTunes and can burn discs of Windows media player.  I tried to reinstall iTunes, I deleted Roxio Creator and insofar as I could, the Windows Media Recorder. I couldn't find the offending registry identified by Apple commands and tried loading gear as suggests, but always without success. I also had a scan of my DVD programs and they are fine.

  Can someone help me with this?

• Cannot install iTunes and a few updates on Windows Vista

  Original title: the purchase, I was unable to install itunes and some updates on my laptop.

  I could not install certain programs esp. itunes says error message my windows installer is running in SafeMode... or does not work properly (I'm not running in safe mode).  and some windows more major updates such as the profile of microsoft.net framework 4 client for windows vista x 64 bit systems and smaller as live office adds to 1.5 install and let me with 643 and error code 6 B 7.

  I was able to install some things that say 'administrator' wil do not allow (whereas I am the administrator, and it's the only profile on my computer) by 'save' and downloaded the installation from the file. but it did not work for the itunes.

  I had my laptop to two different computer repair centers and could help.
