iTunes opens when connecting
When I connect to Windows 7, iTunes opens automatically. It happens only on my profile. No one else on this desk has the problem. There is nothing in the start menu and I tried to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. Does not help.
Autoruns is a useful tool to identify and selectively disable the startup process. Have to watch which loads and see if you can see what anyone associated media which can load up iTunes. Make sure that under Edition > Preferences > advanced that iTunes has the value sharing iTunes library XML with other applications. It may be that anything turns on iTunes if it does not find the XML code.

'Open the connection' VM on external drive does not always open when connecting
Hello community,
I have a MacBook Pro with 10.6.8. For technical reasons, I can't upgrade to a newer version of Mac OS X. I have a license for VMware Fusion 2.x and I'm using the latest version of VMware I am legally authorized to use, 2.0.8. For technical reasons, I have to stay with what are free upgrades I have the right to use.
I have a guest to Solaris that resides on an external drive. I want to make sure this guest operating system starts when I connect the MacBook Pro.
In the finder, I put VMware fusion as "open at Login".
In the library of VMware, I put the to Solaris comments for "Open when VMware Fusion begins.
Sometimes the comments of Solaris OS * fact * start automatically, sometimes it does not. Can someone help me make sure it * still * starts? I'm not yet able to determine why he still does not start.
Thank you
Ed
If Fusion launches before the external drive turns and rises in the finder, it will not see the virtual machine and does not start. Launch of Fusion manually or power cycle external drive so there ' hot' before you start.

Not all my iPhone 6 photos when connected to iTunes/iPhoto.
Very well done on my Photos app on my iPhone 6 under my default 'All the Photos' folder I have 343 Photos. When I connect to my Mac Air via a cable lighting iTunes opens automatically, but says only I have 67 photos to download. My question is where are the other 250 + pictures and how I have to bring my phone is off and on my Mac hard drive? Its been bugging me for weeks trying to figure things out. I tried Drop Box drop box only recognizes the same 67 pictures and I have no idea why. It have no problem looking at these photos on my phone but just do they not appear on my Mac!
If you have my Photo Stream or active library iCloud, other images are likely already in Photos on your Mac app.

GraphicConverter opens when the ipod connects
When I want to recharge my iPod Touch 6 to work, I plug it into the USB port on my iMac (running 10.10.5). keyboard iTunes opens to allow the backup and synchronization, but also an older version of GraphicConverter also runs and asks me if I want to browse photos on the iPod. I would like GraphicConverter NOT at launch. I checked prefs iTunes, GraphicConverter prefs prefs Service of Capture of Image and the system prefs, but can't find anything to deselect which would prevent the GC to open.
Any ideas how to disable this action? Thanks in advance.
With Image Capture open connect your iPod and click on the icon in the lower left.
What is selected to occur when you connect the iPod?

1st generation Apple TV is dead. Orange light but no screen and no resetting of distance. I tried direct connection to Mac and iTunes open and he's not here. Is it possible to restore to the factory without screen or remote workin
I guess you tried maintained low men together for about 6 seconds - silver 1 ATV that will restart to the diagnostic partition but who would rely on the hard disk is functional and if it was ok that wouldn't work with the logic board failure.
I guess you have not fed and attempted to restart.
In case your AppleTV think it is paired with another remote try Menu and left arrow for 6 seconds - the light now intervenes when you press the buttons on the remote?
Also, it could be in the video mode bad - try Menu and upward arrow together for 6 CES switch video modes, but implies that he actually started OK.

iTunes (12.3.2) does not when connected
Hey everybody. I went to open iTunes on my computer (running Windows 10) and it was working fine until I went to connect my iPhone 6 s. Once I connected my phone to my computer, iTunes immediately stopped responding. iTunes won't let me not sync to my iPhone and does not allow me to add music on the phone as well as it does not whatsoever when connected. I had to access my task manager in order to force them to close iTunes and there after I disconnected my phone from my computer. Later, I opened iTunes again and went to access 'Préférences' (from the 'Edit' section) and that once more, unresponsive, frozen just as it did when I had my camera connected. I've recently updated iTunes to this current version and before that I had updated, iTunes was working completely fine without any problem and that he would work to properl. Someone else has this problem and can do something to fix this. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

"an invalid response" in iTunes when connecting to devices
In April, I had an iPad Pro and first had this message: iTunes could not connect to the iPad because an invalid response was received from the device.
I checked and iTunes is up to date, but I just wrote because my music is on my phone, I didn't really NEED on my iPad too. But now I get the same message for my phone. He always asks if I want to trust this calculation on my phone, and I always say "trust". It's an iPhone 6 and noticed only since the update to 9.2 I think? I hoped he would correct with each new update, but it does not.
In all cases, it can not be same iOS related because I can't burn discs more either. (It is not 2002, I know, but I still burn playlists for people). I get an error that the disk drive has not responded properly and could not recover or retry.
I've also seen some mention USB ports/cables and thought maybe it was her (the Caps Lock lights up when I plug anything into a port), but it is also used for the wireless of my phone sync, what he does is no longer.
I think that I have included relevant information (and probably some irrelevant). My only option resets? Is there anything else I can try real quick? (Is it because I'm running an iOS rained on my Mac?)
Thank you!
Looks like your iTunes actually is not up-to-date. Latest version of iTunes is 12.5.1. If you use older OS, you will not be able to get the latest version of iTunes, which is what is compatible with new versions of iOS. You should consider upgrading your Mac operating system (if you can) to get iTunes to update.
If your iTunes logo is blue, it is certainly not up-to-date.

I've upgraded to a newer version of iTunes. When I opened the new iTunes, all of these songs randomly appeared in my iTunes playlist! I have NO idea where they came from. Why they are on my computer, and how to remove them from my iTunes?
I think iTunes might be showing your iCloud music purchases. Go to the menu bar, and unselect display-> show iCloud music purchases.

Hi sean2sun,
It seems that the player is not correctly recognized.
What is the operating system installed on your computer?
However, try to disconnect and reconnect the Walkman on computer. You can also try plugging it into different USB port of computer.
NOTE: Connection to the USB hub is not supported. Walkman should be connected directly to the USB port on the computer.
If the problem persists, perform the steps on the below technical support article:

Why iTunes opens after an iOS device is disconnected?
I recently deselected the option to open iTunes when my iOS devices connect to my MacBook and indeed, iTunes doesn't open when either becomes connected. That option seems missing from the iTunes latest version update, but I digress.
The problem I'm facing is happening when I unplug the MacBook is iOS device: iTunes opens immediately after the unit disconnects independently to know if the device was manually ejected via iTunes before you leave.
A few details about my products:
MacBook (13-inch, aluminum, late 2008) | 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo | 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 | NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M 256 MB | 1 TB 7200 RPM SATA HDD
Mac OS X 10.11.5
iTunes 12.4.0.119
iPhone 6 more, 128 GB
iPad 16 GB Wi - Fi + cell Air
iOS 9.3.2
The answer to my question was, "iScrobbler cause iTunes to reopen once your iOS device disconnects". All I had to do was leave iScrobbler to my problem to solve.

After the update to iTunes 12.3.3.17 I can connect is more to Apple Airport Express.
I updated iTunes to 12.3.3.17 on both computers:
1. Windows 7 64-bit SP1 / iTunes 12.3.3.17 64-bit
2 Windows 10 64 - bit / iTunes 12.3.3.17 64-bit
On the Windows 10 computer, iTunes can connect and play all three Airport Express. An iPod Touch can also flow to each of them.
After the upgrade to 12.3.3.17 on the Windows 7 SP1 computer, iTunes can see all three Airport Express and they are not greyed out. But when an any of them are selected in the dialog of speaker, iTunes tries to connect and after 30 seconds results in the error "an error occurred when connecting to the device AirPlay"xxx". The network connection timed out' and the selection is then grayed out.
The network card on this PC, the router, and all three Airport Express everything seems to work properly as I can deliver on all of them using software third 'wing' with other applications as the source. I can also control iTunes on the PC wirelessly from iPod with the Remote app.
I just can no longer spread to one of the Express from the airport directly from iTunes after the 12.3.3.17 update.
Any thoughts?
Well, problem solved (mostly) by a lot of trial and error and it turns out be a problem of WF on the UDP ports must be open for Hello. It was a bit of a surprise, because the Airfoil program (third party utility AirPlay) uses also Hello (that works).
The Windows Firewall has a rule entry of inbound traffic for Hello to port 5353 UDP. Changing the rule to allow all Ports (UDP) does the job. So I studied what UDP ports were actually necessary for the Hello and Airplay and amended the rule again, this time replacing all Ports with these specific UDP port numbers: 554 (1900), 5289 5298, 5350, 5351, 5353, 49159, 49163
However, that did not yet work so I ended up coming back to the all Ports configuration.
If someone uses the firewall native Windows (preferably Windows 7, but probably the same for 8 and 10), I would be interested to know what UDP ports allows your Windows Hello firewall.
Control Panel > Windows Firewall > advanced settings > inbound rules > Hello
I had certainly not changed firewall settings before this update to iTunes (and AirPlay worked just hours before) and know not why the update seems to have changed the Windows Firewall settings, but that helps to explain why the Windows 10 computer worked fine after the update, because she was using the McAfee Security Suite firewall.
Thank you!
