IX2 doesn't quite work

Hi guys/girls,

I recently bought an IX2 on eBay and I can't seem to connect to it.

When I plug it in I have a white power led and HDD LED blue, but after 10 seconds, the white power light turns to a blinking red LED.

I tried the following:

  • Now the reset with the unit button for 15 seconds
  • Now the reset button for 20 seconds, then while holding down the reset button, I removed the power cord for 15 seconds and then plugged the power back in while holding the button reset for 20 seconds

I downloaded Lenovo EMC storage manager which does not find the device. I tried to plug the device on our network (leading to take down of our case management server and our server for some reason-oops) and also plug directly into a laptop.

I can hear the rotation of the disk and blue HDD LED blinks it seems to read disks ok. I also read somwhere that the first time you turn it can last up to 3 hours to initialize, so I left the next day for the rest of the day, then over night and still nothing.

Inside trainings are 2 Western Digital 3 TB WD30EZRX.

I can't find a solution anywhere, HELP!

Just to update you we have failed to solve the problems.

Here's how we've done, I hope it helps someone else.

  1. Connected device via an ethernet cable to an XP laptop
  2. Activate UPNP detection, click Start, click Help and Support. In the browser, help and support, search UPnP and follow the steps to "install the UPnP infrastructure".
  3. Installed Antamedia DHCP Server and configure a DHCP scope (after a couple of turns and all holding the reset button does not pick up an IP - we are gone for 10 minutes came back and there a) I suggest you re-start the laptop after you configure the DHCP scope to ensure.
  4. Connected to the device via Internet Explorer 8 (no idea if he will be allowed on the other browsers/versions)
  5. We did excellent work! Soon, we had to know that we were premature in our celebrations!
  6. It was not detect all readers... Then we did a complete reset of the web interface and it works now!

I hope this helps anyone else having the same problems as me, probably in 4 years time when someone googles the issue they have

    Not having is not the issue here.  Have you tried to ask a question after Hey Siri? Should really wait that long either.

  • Why my drive to work doesn't always work?

    So, I use an external hard drive as a drive to work in Photoshop because my computer doesn't have a ton of memory. Sometimes I Plug and it works, but recently it has not worked. When my work drive does not work, as I opened Photoshop this annoying message appears as "display driver has stopped working and has restarted blah blah BLAH", and I only have additional memory, so my Photoshop is very slow and laggy and fan of my laptop is like screaming after me and it's really frustrating. BTW I'm not able to update my drivers because my laptop has a silent custom display driver nonsense, I don't know.

    I don't know if it has to do with the fact that sometimes I plug my hard drive when my laptop is closed, then open a session and open Photoshop and other times I have my laptop opens when I plug? It is not only capricious. Is there something that I am missing? I work on a PC with the last CC of Photoshop, if that helps.

    You probably need to ti make sure that your hard drive has a drive letter set in management records and where your scratch disk is the drive letter.

    Hi, I have a question, all of a sudden my internal microphone does not work with FaceTime more.

    The microphone works, I know because I recorded a video in Photo Booth to check if the MIC works. The microphone ALSO works when I make audio calls, but it does NOT work when I make video calls.

    I tried many things

    I deleted the FaceTime .plist files are of the form of the Library/preferences directory, the result;

    -When I delete the files and CALL a time face, the files are re-created and the microphone works, but when I GET a call, it no longer works.

    -When I remove the .plist files again once and RECEIVE a call, the microphone will work, but when I call he will not longer work. Then the other way around.

    I use the latest version of El captain on my Mac.

    -If your iPhone is unlocked, you will receive notifications on your iPhone instead of on your watch.

    I have a HP Pavilion dv7 purchased 2009. I got a low disk space error yesterday and done a disc cleanup, but I did not stop then.

    I ran two tests, and no error messages have been detected. All this time, I was remove unwanted files and it works well. I guess it's the battery, I just bought this November to replace the original. Similar cases such as this one occurred while the first battery is dead. Thank you very much for your help DavidPK!

I checked the WIA Service (enabled), turned off the firewall for a short trial period. Nothing works. Anyway if I leave a scan of the laptop or HP Officejet, where the name of the laptops.     This sounds like a problem of keyboard input buffer . There are a number of issues pending with the keyboard buffer caused by software such as constant guard or GuardIDencryption. If you have installed the encryption of typing software, especially Comcastconstant guard, I can't recommend disabling/uninstalling software or specific assistance in support of the software publisher's web site.

    I don't see any answers in the Forum on my printer model, so here goes-

    The printer is configured for a wireless connection.

    Cannot get IPhoto to print on a photo plate, no matter how I play with the settings in the Menu print.  However, using the keypad of the printer, I can print from the photo tray color photos using a flash drive.

    IPhoto and other apps, IWork 09 and ILife 09 will print to main paper tray, but not in color.

    Using the keypad of the printer, I can copy and print from the glass in BW and color.

    Cannot use Scan function Scanpro HP or the Device Manager, but can scan and print photo tray and main tray (but no computer or a drive - error message says no link found.

    All reports - network wireless, Network Configuration, Fax, printer status, test and HP homepage, say all right.

    I used suggestions from HP website without result, and the very nice fellow HP Chat Line, Manuel, told me in English that I have to contact MicroSoft for help.   I found a Web page apparently new to Mac users (HP printing from a Macintosh 10.5) and HP Mac-connect, but they do not seem to be updated for Snow Leopard.

    I have reinstalled Snow Leopard, nothing helps.  I also tried the suggestion of Forum to use the option installs on my Snow Leopard disc, but when I go through the steps and software options are listed, the printer list shows zero KB and the 'Continue' button is grayed out.  No help there.

    I also used most often suggestions - unplug the printer, restart the computer, etc, nothing works.

    HP is still working for the full feature software and driver for C309a compatible with Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard). You can check on the HP Web site for updates. What you have there is just the base driver which is preinstalled on your pc.
