Japanese text replaced by boxes after the recent update of Windows

Windows 7 can not represent the Japanese text after that Windows Update - changes the text boxes - applies to all applications - itunes, Windows Live Mail - mail header text replaced by boxes. The emails themselves are not affected - Japanese content can be displayed. Made a restoration and Japanese text returned. However then windows update again and the Japanese text has been lost, which means that this issue is one of the updates.

    This could be a temporary problem, please run live on your Norton Internet Security Update, until you get the message "No updates available", and then restart the computer.     Many other people have the same problem after the recent update of Win7.  A thread said that the culprit is update KB2705219 and you'll be OK if remove you it.  There is no other additional information that the user in question has done so successfully [I can't find the link, I checked both of these threads today].

    I have not tried to uninstall it I like my PC to install with a decent connection the last hours [no idea why].  I also have McAfee.

    In addition, you should never uninstall McAfee or any other AV application unless you have a copy of the relevant utility uninstall application.  Results to omit this step can be severe and cause quite disconcerting & apparently unrelated symptoms.  I do not recommend this as a step for the problem today, but keep this link for when / if you decide to replace McAfee - McAfee Consumer products removal tool.  For other AV applications, see list of anti-malware cleaning - program uninstall tools

    May 14, last night I had several (automatically) downloaded windows update

    Today, I was unable to boot my computer with Windows - tried the disk check, start checks etc, and eventually had to use System Restore (for help before the critical update to restore).

    Perfection, everything works, but knowing that windows will attempt to redo an automatic update, tried to check online - no one seemed to have a problem and (naivly) thinking I could always do another restore of the system, I rebooted again.

    Same thing worse. Could not do a sys restore either just before restarting or last night. Chose a date earlier (last week) but then lost the USB drivers and pilots display. Downloaded updated but refuses to let my AMD driver install Windows I have a very unpleasant screen... and I must now stop the installation of this update "critical."

    Would appreciate advice how do my installed display driver or whether anyone else has problems following this update

    I found the solution: the add-on "manually sort orders" has been altered after the Thunderbird upgraded. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it and the possibility of local folders on the top worked again.
