  Hi, I'm having a little trouble trying to uninstall Java, so I can reinstall it. I get this error message:

I'm the only person on my laptop Windows Vista Ultimate, and I am the administrator on the computer. I can't find something when I search for it during the uninstallation. When I go on ' computer > disc Local (c) > Progam Files > Java' I see a whole bunch of files, but I can't find the installation package with the 'Installation .msi package' at the end. I find 'install.rdf '.

  I was wondering if anyone can help find me the source for Java, so I can uninstall and reinstall so my Java work properly.

  Java has been uninstalled before when Elluminate program my brother (online meetings of his school) and I guess when he was relocated something went wrong, but I have 2 Java programs. One by one by Sun Microsystems Inc. and Oracle and I am trying to install are Sun Microsystems Inc..

• Tired of JAVA problems and crashing... even supported SE6 used. Mozilla customer service tips to recharge were without help. Mozilla has been simpler.

  I asked this before. Told me to reload Foxfire... I did it. I also uninstalled JAVA 7 and installed SE 6; so I check my options of Mozilla and see that Java 7 is still a plugin, but inactive, but always there just the same. I suggested before that, there may be question of POGO.com , but which was not addressed in the answer. I'm not computer savvy, but can follow directions. The reason why I believe that it's a Java or Pogo.com site question is that the internet nor any other site ever crashes only Pogo.com. A lot, I would like to start my problems here because Mozilla is much more useful and easier to deal with. Games EA (Pogo) is impossible.

  I removed Java my system about a year due to the continuation of many, often very serious security issues with Java and their long list of unpatched security issues that they seem to have no interest in patching. I don't play games online and have found that not having it on my system causing me no problems with one of the many sites that I visit regularly.

  I'm testing Java 7 update 55 with the UCS Manager to verify that all features working. When I opened UCS manager connection poster box but I noticed that the 'Domain' option does not appear. Without it, I can't choose between LDAP or local authentication.

  You can upgrade UCSM whitout put to rest, but the supported configuration is to have UCSM, fabric and IOM (which is included with the 'Infrastructure package') running the same version...

  Hi Burns I had the same problem, you need to do is to go to www.java.com and download the java applet and try and access the PIX will work without problem

  I suspect it's the Java version number so I checked the version

  Java-version

  Java version "1.6.0_22".

  OpenJDK (IcedTea6 1.10.4) runtime environment (rhel - 1.41.1.10.4.el6 - x86_64)

  OpenJDK 64-bit Server VM (build 20, 0 - b11, mixed mode)

  Then I installed the jdk 1.7... and control changes in fact file installation in bash_profile as follows:

  JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/JDK1.7.0_79; Export JAVA_HOME

  Path=$path:$JAVA_HOME/bin:/usr/java/JDK1.7.0_79/JRE/bin; export PATH

  but the version of java is always 1.6.0.22. Now, since ORDS3 requires jdk 1.7... I think the problem is with the version of java. But I can't do the update java as the default jdk. How can I do it. Help, please

  Problem is resolved a little, or it was done one way or another.

  I created another server in vmware with OL6.0 64 bit. Java version is jdk1.6...

  Now, I have

  1 tar - vxzf jdk-7u79-linux - x 64 .tar .gz

  created by /usr/jdk1.7.0_79

  in the bash profile

  export JAVA_HOME=/usr/jdk1.7.0_79

  PATH="$path":/usr/JDK1.7.0_79/bin; export PATH

  2. now installed server Glassfish 3.1.2.2. then it took the JAVA_HOME for Installation.

  3. now, I issued the command

  ords.war advanced pot /usr/JDK1.7.0_79/bin/Java-installation

  Done with success.

  4. now, I could deploy deployment ords.war and i.war in Glassfish Server

  It works fine now.

  If the key was to install JDK 7 and set JAVA_HOME to java to update location prior to the Installation of Glasfish.

  I am facing a strange behavior with java applications in my guest operating system.

  in most java applications I am running (intellij idea, jmeter) I can't use the functionaltiy filebrowse

  to open the files. I see all of the available records, but I'm not able to open them.

  in other java applications, nothing happens when I click on the UI elements.

  to me, it seems that something with java awt/swt does not work correctly.

  as my host OS is identical to the guest, I tested everything what it and it worked fine.

  someone has any idea how to solve this problem?

  Hi mariusband welcome to the VMware communities!

  I think that the strange behavior that you see is the result of a workaround that we added to a problem of pointer movement mouse villain which exists in Mac OS 10.7.2 clients.  If you're on 10.7.3 and don't plan to go back to 10.7.2, you can disable workaround (and hopefully restore the correct behavior of your Java applications) by judgment of the virtual machine and change the configuration of the virtual machine file to add:

  mouse.vusb.absVibration = "FALSE".

• Web services CF10, components not found - the seller Java problem?

  Did someone having problems web services in Oracle Java CF10, IIS 7 calls,?  We have recently improved, and web services are now back the error message depending on whether the component is not found:

  The web service operation has caused an exception of invocation.

  The root cause was that: coldfusion.runtime.CfJspPage$ NoSuchTemplateException: could not find the ColdFusion component or interface

  
  

  The web service must be created in cfadmin?  It won't let me.  I was understanding the cfinvoke webservice call would create the webservice, but this isn't.

  We have this same file on four different servers.  It works on two of the four.  The only difference I see in the server settings in addition to the CF and the operating system version, is the vendor/version of Java.

  It turns out that it was a matter of nomenclature of directory.  Directory has a period in it (for example, domaine.org).  Once the period has been removed from the directory name, it worked.  For some reason, it worked fine in CF8 but not CF10.  I hope this helps someone else.

  I don't know when it appeared on my browser, but one day, I noticed a square box that had a QJ in it, and when I clicked (opened) it was kind of a java thing.. ? Well well since, then I stripped java my laptop and once I reinstalled java, there it was, hanging out in the right corner... kind of like it was me flippin, saying: I couldn't get rid of it as simple as that... LOL... now many different strange things happen, some of the links do not work in sites, sometimes in a single site, I had to do some links red and blue for others on the same web page... I really need help with what it... I hope that you all can offer a bit of advice... Thank you very much...

• Sending an attachment the Application Java problem

  I wrote an Application that, among other things, puts the data entered by the user in a CSV format of attachment and sends it as part of a message to multiple parties. I followed the instructions described in the article DB-00009 knowledge base and have tried a number of different types of content and file extensions but I still have the same error.

  "Electronic mail service does not support these types of attachments. "Change the field send aid or remove attachments.

  I tried to "text/plain" content type and name the attachment file "foo.txt", but still have the problem.

  My environment;

  -OS 4.6

  -configured as a CLDC application rather a MIDlet

  -Eclipse JDE component pack 4.6.0.16

  I'm looking for advice on the recommended content type parameter, and any other guidance in addition to the one in DB-00009 to send a simple text formatted (everything what he csv) file in my application. For example I would be better to treat this as just a byte stream attachment?

  Another company working on their network on the site. They use ShareCenter of Microsoft as a collaborative work environment and told me that I must add their domain names (... company.com) to my list of approved sites in Firefox to open the pages of their workplace.

  Hello live2ski, "trusted sites" are a concept of internet explorer which does not exist in firefox in this form, so I'm not sure what their instructions could be referring to.
  You can change some permissions of a particular area, while you are on this page, do a right click on an empty spot and go to see information page > permissions...

• Problems with Java and Internet Explorer9

  Bought this Compaq Presario in August 2011 with IE8 in it without any problem.  October or November, updates installed IE9 and since then I have had problem with Java on IE9.  Mainly with the signature in some sites mainly Pogo (don't remember the others).  Checked in the Java Control Panel under Advanced and browsers only IE and Firefox are indicated (although I also have Chrome).  IE and Firefox are archived for Java, but while Firefox is written in dark letters, IE is gray and I can't it darkened.  Even when I switched browsers default to IE, it is always grey.  I already follow the article on Pogo and Java problems and I have no problem with Firefox or Chrome, only Internet Explorer.

  You see the same problems if you test with another Windows user?

  You are running version 64 bit or 32 bit IE 9?  Even if you're a machine 64-bit by default IE 8 or 9 should be the 32-bit version.  This is the version that runs on 64-bit computers by default.  If you use this version, then the problems would disappear.
