JDeveloper 12.2.1 crashing (Windows 7-64 bit)

Hello everyone

I recently installed Jdev 12.2.1 on my machine windows 7, I faced no problem in the installation (a generic installer used with Jdk8U66) but when I open any page jspx or jsf in design mode, jdeveloper block . Problem does not appear when I open another tab (Source, history, links) to the page editor

I checked crash log in \Oracle12.2.1\jdeveloper\jdev\bin, it shows that

Windows/Linux installer for jdev 12.2.1 is bundled with JDK 1.8u51 then try with this JDK version (as far as I know, JDK 1.8u60 has some problems so it is probably also related to the u66).

You can change the JDK in jdev.conf file: Blog-Marc: change the JDK used by JDeveloper

I think it may be related to the display of the http://www.jasonbondpicks.com/chat/ which I believe uses flash. I have Shockwave Flash installed 14.0.0.145 which is the latest version.

    Thank you for your help.

Two of the crash IDs have been automatically "linkified" in your message, and both are, as you suspected it, problems in the version of the Flash plugin.

It is a standard orientation which addresses the most common issues with the Flash Player plugin. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:

    (1) If you have any recorders/downloaders who interact with Flash media to ensure that they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.

    (2) disable graphics hardware acceleration in Flash

See this article from Adobe technical support: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues

    (3) disable the protected mode

You can disable that by creating or editing a settings file. The following/posts pages provide different ways to do this:

To download the Flash completely (closing and restarting Firefox could help) until it takes effect.

  • UPDATED HP freeses and crashes under Windows 7 64-bit

Hello! I am now running Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit on my m9152p HP Pavilion Elite originally shipped with Windows Vista 64 bit... I upgraded in early spring of this year and everything has been fine until about 2 weeks ago... Each time HP Update tries to run... It hangs... This started to happen out of the blue... It ran fine up until about 2 weeks ago, when she started this behavior... I haven't had any setting or program changes that I know... He just started crashing all of a sudden... I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of update HP... nothing helps... Can someone help me? Thank you!

HI: You are not alone. I had this happen on my W7 PC 2. Works well until a week or two ago. Now when you launch the program you get just the message that the program has stopped responding. I don't have a fix. I also tried the program updated without success. I've uninstalled it. You can run the Windows update program which will take care of most of any driver and other updates for your PC. If all goes well, people have reported this problem to HP that will be able to fix it. I wonder if it has to do with the upgrades of windows security or other updates that we received last month.

  • CVIXML makes PrintDlg/PrintDlgEx crash under Windows 7 (32 bit)

    -Load the XMLSample (toolbox\XMLSample.cws)

    -Add [CVIDIR]\sdk\lib\msvc\ComDlg32.Lib

-Replace XMLSample.uir and XMLSample.c with those of the attachment

It works on XP but not on Windows 7 (32-bit family professional):

When running, click on PRT (works), then load a XML, then try again the PRT button (crashes).

First of all, I used PrintDlg when it crashed, but PrintDlgEx does not work either.

Anyone can, check it please? I have only a single Win 7 box at hand.

I was able to reproduce the crash. It probably occurs because the PrintDlg function uses COM and it must require the thread to be initialized like cloisonne. And by default, the XML driver (via ActiveX CVI library) will initialize it differently, unless it is already initialized.

The accident goes if you initialize the thread yourself, before calling one of the XML functions:

    CA_InitActiveXThreadStyleForCurrentThread (NULL, COINIT_APARTMENTTHREADED);

  • Game Crash Windows 7

Well, everyone, I hope to get help.

I installed a game on a CD. Before he installed a warning popped up, but it is in gibberish characters, something like ufcffS IH and so on. He had the ability to 'Yes' or 'no '. If you clicked Yes, he could pull up to support Microsoft on the internet, but it would be an error page. This will be considered later.

The installation menu appears, I followed the instructions and the game installs fine. I am able to watch the intro of the game and the tool around with the options and other menus. However, at the time where I press 'Start' on the game says "(titre dele de jeu) windows has stopped working." Windows try to find a solution. "

I feel that I did a lot of what has been recommended. I checked my DirectX settings and they were very good. The game is compatible with older versions of Windows, so I tried running as administrator and compatibility mode. Same problems. The game says DirectX 9 .0c is required, and following the advice on this page , I installed DirectX 9. When I tried to follow the link on this page, he lead me to the same page above error I got when trying to install the game. However, I found and downloaded DirectX 9, and the game still crashes when I press Start. Of course, I also uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times, checked to downloaded the latest Windows updates and rebooted my computer.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit. Please help if you can.

Some older games might not run on W7 (esp 64 bit W7).

However, to allow a person to help you, what's the game? and older versions of windows should it run OK?

Original title: Crashing Windows 7: how to determine the cause?
    I have
had it happens x 3 now, so not a coincidence: I start, the computer seems fine, on the Win7Ult64bit welcome screen, it freezes my mouse will not move cannot type. I wait a bit, restart the computer on its own and usually * is able to connect properly thereafter. After login, Win7 Action Center message finally with a dmp file link. (And when I try to check for solutions, my computer is able to connect to the server to send the info... something wrong with the center of the action too.)

(* on the crash today, after the crash, reboot, connection, I could work for about 5 minutes before it froze again and I had to hit restart. "It's the first frost once inside my Windows account).
How to isolate the question crashing to fix?
The question in the homescreen can be a video card problem, according to Win7, and this is my last post for initial crash of today:

But I have my doubts on that. At least my latest driver nVidia update is buggy. No problems with it before.
My second crash today is not listed on the details page of the problem in the reliability monitor in Win7. So I don't know how to report more on this subject.
    Thanks for the tips!

After a week of no crashes, touch wood, even with all the official last summer startups and services running and using nvidia drivers, it's time to install the latest version of the drivers to see what happens...

  • JDeveloper 11g IDE fonts in Windows 7

The site I'm on just migrated their infrastructure of office of Windows XP to Windows 7.

When we open up JDeveloper 11.1.1.7 Windows 7 IDE fonts are bolder than usual and quite fuzzy.  On Windows XP, they were crisp and clear.

The police of the code editor is fine.

It's on the same PC that was running Windows XP with the same monitor that is the PC infrastructure is the same.

Everyone knows this or can anyone offer advice.

    Thank you

The issue seems to be with Windows 7 screen management.

To fix, follow the steps under 'Control Panel--> appearance' and customization--> display--> adjust the ClearType text, select the text that seems most at each stage.

Restart JDeveloper, fonts should now be sharp and well defined.
