JDK for P6v8

In the documentation, it is said that the necessary version of JRockit is "JRockit to Java SE6 (1.6.0_20) R20

The JRockit version that comes in the V20499-01 is:

JRockit R28, build 1.6.0.17 - b04

Is this the right version? I have problems with my installation. The PB is improved and the Windows client works very well. I installed WebLogic 11 GR 1 material.

When I run the wizard from the Configuration of Weblogic and go through the steps to set up the new field of P6, quite well, and then at the end I get the message:

"A fatal error has occurred. This application will end."

In the newspapers, I see this:

2010-11-18 11:11:46, 243 ERROR [Thread-4] com.oracle.cie.common.util.CreateShortcut - CreateShortcut: ERROR: creation: start the Server Admin for Weblogic Server Domain.lnk
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: expects an absolute path to the library: jni_winx64
at java.lang.Runtime.load0(Runtime.java:767)

I'm guessing it could have to do with the version of java, but am not sure. Note that domain records are created very well, but there is no shortcuts to my user P6 project in Weblogic.

All this experience? It was going so well...

See you soon,.

I worked through this. The version of JRockit communicated in the x 64 Windows media pack is not correct. I got Sun Javsa 1.6.0_22 and re-installed Weblogic. Now I can add domains without problem. I also downloaded JRockit R28 1.6.0_22. But the Sun downloaded and installed first version, that's what I used.

Like Daniel, I also used the Sun JDK 1.6.0_22 and had no problems.

  • Selection of Blackberry Version of the JDK for a Business Application

I currently have the intention to develop the first Java based on the request of our managers in my company, so I asked

information of a PivotTable. Should I choose the JDK version 4.2.0? What is your opinion?

    Any help is appreciated.

    hhessel

    The Table looks like this:

    There is a simple rule.

JDE version is equal to the version of the API of the RIM which is equal to the version of the device software.

If you are using JDE 4.2.0 application will work (should work) for all devices with the software version of the device equal or superior to 4.2.0

But this app will not work on devices with software older than 4.2.0 device for example 4.1.0

JDE 4.2.0 is a good choice, unless the Director-general has a device with os 4.1.0

  • 8.3 tested SP1 configuration JDK for WebLogic Server (application server)

The base 8.3 had JRockit JDK Sun JDK as well as a tested configuration.

More late 8.3 SP1 counts Sun JDK as a tested configuration.

Can someone comment on that. If I decide to deploy SP1 with the latest available patch just 8.3 use Sun's JDK tested for the application server?

JRockit JDK is supported with P6 EPPM 8.3 SP1 and latest fix. The tested configuration for SP1 and above is an indication that additional certification of the last JDK was made. This does not necessarily mean that you have to upgrade to it, well recommended. Review the SP1 patch readme for more information.

  • Something to watch out for when upgrading to JDK on OS?

Running Oracle RDBMS 11.2.0.3 on RHEL6. The systemwide default JDK is currently the OpenJDK 1.6. I've been troubleshooting some problems with the jagent of GoldenGate upgrade that required me to use Oracle/Sun JDK 1.7. At this point, I wonder if there is a drawback to simply do the default Oracle/Sun JDK for the oracle OS user (who has the RDBMS and GoldenGate Software installed).

I did have the pleasure of dealing in java database yet, but I understand that the RDBMS packaging its own JDK (in $ORACLE_HOME/jdk). However, I know that the GoldenGate process will use the external JDK.

I was wondering if any of you out there did this and what I should look out for side effects.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Don,

Oracle installation comes with its own jdk you mention and all the db utilities (netca etc.) are hard-coded to use the RDBMS House rather than a few os by default one.

One within the database will be 1.6 in 11.2.0.3 I think (1.7 is available in only 12 c) - but is unaffacted by what you do outside - it is completely resident inside the DB - so classpath for example has no external connection paths - instead, he searches inside the db java objects.

I'm sure you can do what you like with the jdk os and oracle does not care (even if JAVA_HOME is set to a new 1.7 on the operating system installation) - Although no doubt there's an exception somewhere...

  • Installation of BB plugin for eclipse

I tried to get this pugin to work all day on my already installed version of eclipse, but he's just kept saying I was missing things so I decided to start over and I got rid of my eclipse completely and went to the BB download page dev and tried to install the all-in-one eclipse/blackberry package.  After installing it I try to run the shortcut he put it on my desktop and it says that I don't have a JRE or JDK to eclipse run.  my old version of eclipse has worked perfectly, so what should I do to make this version work?

you will need a JRE 32 bit and a JDK for BB eclipse plugin to work. JDK can be 32-bit or 64-bit.

If you want to use 32-bit JRE for eclipse only and 64-bit JRE for your other Java powered apps, you can do the following-

    -install 32-bit JRE
-Copy the folder "jre" since the installation directory in the folder 'eclipse '.
-install the 64-bit JRE. It allows to uninstall JRE 32 bit first.

If you are using a new installation and install the plugin eclipse on it then you will need a 32-bit eclipse.  I would recommend Juno.

  • Blackberry JDK source code

    Hello

I have looked around and cannot find where to download the source code for the JDK of Blackberry. I talk to the source code of their classes in the API like EditTextField, String, etc... Sun offers the source code for the JDK for free download. It is more useful to look at.

Also is there a place I can download the HTML version of the API: IE what is here:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/developers/docs/4.7.0api/index.html

It seems that the site is often down, or very slow to respond. I would rather just a local copy.

    Thank you.

RIM does not provide us with source BlackBerry API code.

There is no source code from RIM API available for access by the public.

The only way to read the RIM API source code is to get hired by RIM

    Concerning

    KasunA

Found a workaround.  The problem is that, before the 7695070 patch is applied, the installation program backup directory/apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk in /apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk_backup_existing_version, but then it clears. / jdk - the patch fails because it can't find it.  I had to rename the directory of the jdk for jdk2, and as soon as it gets deleted quickly and rename jdk2 jdk.  Then he applies the patches without problem.  A symbolic link would do the same thing.
