Jealousy 55 series: Question HP Envy

I have a HP Envy 5530, who has had a problem that HP needed to replace it under warranty.

A new printer was received that when I removed the box was a HP 5534.

Burning question - what is the difference? I tried to compare on various retail sites, but I can't find a site that sells the two - it is one or the other!

Would need a different user manual?

Thank you very much

Paul

Hi Paul,.

Both are the same product, the only difference is the number of the product.

The differences are only related marketing and there is no real difference, it's the same product.

You must use the same manual, software, etc.

Kind regards

Shlomi

  • Satellite U series: Question about bypassing the battery when connected on AC

Hi, I am a bit newbie to PC Toshiba laptop (series U) and I was wondering if my laptop has this feature where it bypasses the battery when it is fully charged and the power supply cable is connected?
I see the battery blue led is on even when it is fully charged and the power is connected, it means that my computer is still using the battery?

I'm running a lot and I will not waste my battery life.
    Thanks for any comments.

    Hello

Congratulations on your new machine, I understand that worried you´re for your battery life. I was scared too, but a lot of people here in the forum told me that, in each new machine for many years (i.e. about 6 to 9 years) almost every laptop has an electronic charge that regulates the process of charge of the battery.

Don t worry, if your battery is fully charged, the built-in charging circuit is a special State that is as "cool cool" to maintain your battery and to protect the battery.
S better to keep the battery in the machine then removing it.

  • Time series Question - how avg for children period but no parent

I have a calculated account, trying to get the average to the level of the child of the period, but have the Parent period level make a right calc on the totals. My cube is configured like this:

    Period
    -Jan
    -JanWeek1
    -JanWeek2
    -JanWeek3
    -JanWeek4
    -JanWeek5
    Account
    -Hours billed
    -Revenue
-Avg Houly rate = 'Recipes' / 'Billed hours' (I have time series data, the average value)

My problem is that during the week level things are on average correctly, but at the level of the month, that is by taking the average of 5 weeks. How can I get if it just look at the total revenue for the month divided by the total number of hours billed (by having the weeks do everything an average?)

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

You probably don't need to use all balance of average time for this calculation. I suggest defining members in time balance zero, then label it as 'Dynamic Calc' and label it as "Two-Pass", ensure that the income / hours calculation after the period roll-up.

I think that you would give the desired result.

  • Series of HP envy 4502: HP series want 4502 is not PDF print double sided / duplex

Literally installed this new after statement of HP and HP printer driver for Mac OS.

I find that the printer prints word documents double face absolutely fine, but when I try to print any PDF double sided (even with "2 Facer feel" checked in the settings), the printer is unable to print a PDF file in duplex.

Is this a firmware issue on the printer that needs to be fixed? HP support - please advise. I have updated the printer to the latest firmware, but clearly, it's always a problem.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

What application you are printing PDFS from? This is Adobe Reader or preview of Apple?

In Adobe Reader, open the print dialog and press the printer... button, then select two-sided in the Layout menu option and press OK.

You don't see any difference when printing then?

  • HP-Envy-17 t-3000-CTO lw900av: HP-Envy-17 t-3000-CTO Msata SSD upgrade

I saw the following post and have a similar question

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-hardware-and-upgrade-questions/HP-envy-17t-3000-CTO-MSSD-mSATA...

    665930-001 300 - GB SSD drive
Disc SSD of 256 GB 689223-001

I have a 80 GB SSD, which I think is an MSATA.  There are two updates listed on the HP site, but the prices are prohibitive.  How to find a compatible player to a third party?

Please see the HP ENVY 17 - Maintenance and Service of Guide for all the different hard drive / SSD / mSata drive configurations that were available on these models. Almost any drive vendors will work on your computer and HP sources these parts from many manufacturers.

Hard drive (does not support hard disk, cables or screw):
    1 TB 5400 RPM, 12.7 mm 638974-001
    750 GB, 7200 RPM, 9.5 mm 633252-001
    750 GB, 7200 RPM, 9.5 mm hybrid 684506-001
    500 GB, 7200 RPM, 9.5 mm 634925-001
    320 GB, 7200 RPM, 9.5 mm 641672-001

SSD drive (does not support, cable or screw):
    665930-001 300 - GB SSD drive
Disc SSD of 256 GB 689223-001
Disc SSD of 160 GB 665929-001

    mSATA by car:
    128 GB mSATA drive 665931-001
    Drive 80 GB mSATA 665932-001

A player mSata SSD are not the same. SSD is the same as a hard drive form factor. An SSD is going to be cheaper then a mSata disc. Your choice will depend on what you are trying to do with his computer.

  • HP Envy 15-q008tx touch pad issues

    Hi HP supports,

I have a problem with my laptop HP Envy 15 - q008tx, permanent and recurrent I bought recently. My touchpad is not working properly (the mouse pointer is very laggy and moves by itself on the screen). I brought my laptop to HP to Alexandra SG TWICE service center for repair, but the issue is never resolved.

I did some research and it seems that this problem occurred with other HP customers as well. Please see the links below.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/other-notebook-PC-questions/HP-envy-15-q004tx/TD-p/4423918 http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-hardware/HP-envy-15-q004tx-touchpad-issues/TD-p/4364352/page/1

As seen on the above forum discussions, some were able to solve it using the most recent driver from synaptic. I tried this solution but it didn't work as the mouse pointer continues to lag and move by itself, which is the recurring question.

Kindly HELP me with this problem and hope to have this problem as soon as possible.

According to the message that you have recently published, I want to confirm that it is a hardware problem and I highly recommend to immediately contact HP technical support by phone for further assistance without delay to get your Notebook diagnosed and repaired by an authorized HP Certified Engineer

  • Stream flow 11: 11 cards SD - two questions

Just bought a HP Stram SKU K3Y85UA #TBA 11. I guess that's a d011, but that does not appear on the label, it shows as AU58Y3K model number, which I cannot find in any of the manuals - maybe I'm looiing in the wrong place? In any case, I have two questions about SD cards:

    1. (both parties question) what is the speed of the interface of SD card? A class 10 card will provide a benefit or a card low speed will be just as fast because of the limitations of the interface?

    2. has anyone successfully used an SDXC card with this laptop? I know that he is apparently not supported. Linux not is not supported either, but works very well. I hope to be able to use a 64 GB card in the slot.

    Joe - 123 says:

Can I upgrade the card wireless in m7-j020dx an ac wireless card?

    Hello

I think. Intel 7260AC worked for me on a M6-1000 series laptop and a Dv6-7000 series laptop, both architecture Ivy Bridge. Some portable series j000 TouchSmart Envy 15/17 are still sold with a chip wireless AC (probably the 7260 one). Envy 17 TS and M7 use the same manual and the 7260AC of Intel can run on your laptop because I saw the number of threads that confirms that the 7260AC of Intel works on TS Envy 15/17.
