  SO it is not working properly. The drive is empty. Make a new library and save it on the SSD drive.

• DNS and static translations

  I have a web server on my dmz. On the demilitarized zone, the computers cannot be accessed by name. The problem is that DNS returns the ip (real) outside. I need the demilitarized zone to translate it into a local ip address. I use the MDP so I'm not using aliases. Any help would be appreciated.

  You can do this with the [static] commands and the "dns" option

  Make sure you do a [clear xlate] after the changes.

  If you are running under 6.2, you will have to make any [alias] on the Pix.

• Security roles for the journals in HFM

  For purposes of verification, we are given an obligation to create two different roles for administrators of the Journal.

  Group 1 can create reviews and submit

  Group 2 may approve journals and post it.

  Can someone let me know the right roles that I should be assigned? I followed the guide of security of Shared Services, but somehow, it does not work. When I delete the Application Administrator role. I can't display the data in any newspaper.

  You will need to perform a new installation of 11.1.2 as there is no upgrade option.

  Create an empty application and a copy of the database.

  Check - upgrade 9.2.0.3 to 11.1.2 with or without SP1 update scripts

  We have planned the implementation of several node, where a server under Linux OS has foundation, OSH and weblogic domain.  Server B on window has HFM.  We know now that we can have single domain web-logic since HFM has no binary for Linux (and we must at least HFM web - app to install if we want common weblogic domain).  In this case, what is the common practice.  Should we local domain web-logic on the server HFM window?  Is there a better way?

  My understanding is that you need one,

  #Separate Weblogic domain for the components installed on the Linux box (Foundation)

  #Separate Weblogic domain for the HFM components installed on the Windows machine

  Such as Weblogic in Linux can't talk to the components installed on the Windows machine.

  The vCenter Heartbeat is to keep a backup of vCenter server available at all times. This is achieved through a mechanism of steps that ensures that everything that happens on the primary instance of vCenter server is also on the secondary server instance, vCenter. Given that the configurations of the server vCenter instances are guaranteed the same, newspaper Insight would not be able to tell the difference.

  However, vCenter heartbeat supports three types of configuration: LAN, stretched LAN and WAN. For LAN and LAN stretched assets vCenter Server's IP address is moved during failover. For WAN, during a failover Exchange IP address of the instance of vCenter server, but pulse warns DNS change. Because with LAN and LAN stretched the IP address of the instance of vCenter server remains the same, newspaper Insight will continue to work as expected once the recovery has taken place and the new primary instance of vCenter server sent a free ARP. In the WAN configuration, the IP address of vCenter Server changes. If you have configured Log Insight to connect to the instance of vCenter Server by IP address then after failover Log Insight will not be able to collect information from the new vCenter server IP address.   I just got my classic Blackberry an upgarde to my Bold 9780. The first thing I did was to transfer all my call logs, text messages and contacts at classic BB using the BB link. I followed all the steps and complete the process.

  Unfortunately, all contacts, text in waiting and call logs have not been transferred to my classic BB.

  When BB link asks to connect my old Bold 9780 it creats a back to the top folder of request to connect the classic BB and transfers the backup file of the Bold 9780. End of no use as always all my contacts. At the end of the binding process attention msg appears * contacts, messages, and newspapers is poster in a feww minutes, IE it will take time to appear

  Its almost 24 hours and all contacts have not appeared in the classic BB contact application.

  This is an easy question for someone. I'm store values of code ("Y", "N"), in a column of Mysql database and when I display the field in Dreamweaver, I would like to appear as 'Yes' or 'No', not only the letter, as the case warrants. The only way I think to do that is with a menu or a list but that generates a select menu drop-down list and I want to display only, no entry. Surely there is an easy way to do that is simply eluding me.

• Another problem of translation HFM fx

  Hi guys

  We are seeing a strange behavior of translation FX in HFM this month on an account. If all goes well, there is a simple explanation.

  The account is in the P & L and uses the rate of average period (as all our accounts of profits and losses).

  The default currency of the entities below is USD. They translated to GBP correctly in MS as you can see in the screenshot below.

  This month, (October), instead of translated at the average rate of 1.5313 (GBP:USD), is to translate at a rate of 0.80818 which is not in the application.

  

  However, when we look at it regularly, they translate OK!

  Has anyone seen this problem before and is - a defect or HFM working by design, that is a 'function' ... and if so why don't we seeing this for the other accounts?

  I guess in your application settings you have enabled "Use PVA for Flow" which tells HFM to translate regular amounts of income/expense accounts at the default rate for the flow accounts. It is the most common configuration. If so, HFM translated the periodic amount in the currency of your target. I also assume that you've entered the rate from USD and GBP as 1/1.5313, which means that you have selected GBP Custom1 and Custom2 as USD. Here's the calculation:

  1/1.5313 =-4,641,503.33 *-3,031,010.25

  Add that the period for previous translated CDA amounts 2,768,104.17 and you get a new amount of CDA for the OCTS to-262, 906.08.

  If your settings and the rate of translation join my assumptions then Yes, HFM is translated exactly as expected, that you told him.
