Jpg in Pdf page images

I'm trying to help a group to insert images of low resolution Pdf pages that have been created by ColdFusion, so that the pages open faster.

What are the settings would have proposed then Pdf pages are attractive and pages open very quickly?

Thank you

    Hello

    I go from jpg to PDF publication for my folio. Most of the things are great. There are some things that seem to always really crappy, like animations with logos and JPG images from photoshop.

    What can I do to fix? I have to redo them with a higher DPI?

    Some assets will look pixelated on HD devices. Use PPP 108 and also use different means for SD and HD devices. Read more here: http://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-suite/help/creating-multi-rendition-pdf-articles .html #creating_multi_rendition_pdf_articles_for_ios_devices

  • Why ODC converts images jpg in pdf files when checking in content

    Hello

    I use ODC 10 gR 3 32 bit and my problem is that when I check the native file in a jpg to the Webcenter 11 g 11.1.1.6 content image is transformed into pdf. When I connect console content Webcenter and search the content the two natives a visible web files are pdf files.

    What should I do if my native file continues with the same extension (JPG)?

    The web image file is ok in pdf, so no changes are needed for this one.

    Concerning
    Carlos

    ODC does not work with concepts viewable web native. On the other hand, you can have or the files with formats of input and output file (s) with the same or other. Note that mainly ODC use the outputs of a scanner for its entries. ODC will treat these entries for you (lectures reading of bar codes, separates the pages in a batch of documents, recognizes or allows manual entry of metadata categorization, etc.) and finally to validate results of selected repository (it can be the same file system or a database!). You can retain the original format, or change it - an often used option transforms image formats such as TIFF in the 'Searchable PDF' (a PDF with text layer, which can be indexed for full-text; OCR is used to get the text layer).

  • Rendered Automator PDF Pages as Images not Convtering

    So this is really weird.  I followed the app in Automator.  The file that results is not a JPEG, but just an another PDF file.  What I'm missing here?

    Ask the Finder items

    Copies the items from the Finder

    Rename items

    Make the PDF Pages as Images

    I found the answer.  I needed to adjust the order of the steps.  It is now:

    Ask the Finder items

    Make the PDF Pages as Images

    Move the items from the Finder

    Rename Finder items

    Works like a charm now.

  • Problems with the export of PDF to TIFF (a PDF page export also several images in TIFF format)

    Using Acrobat X professional, I'm trying to convert a PDF to multiple page in multiple TIFF files - that is, each page of the PDF file is converted to a TIFF file (for example, a PDF file with 50 pages would cause 50 TIFF).

    I created a remedy so that I can possibly process batches of PDFs. My action in two stages:

    (1) flatten layers

    (2) export all images as TIFF

    -the files are exported to a folder on a network drive

    -file settings are: Monochrome = CCITT G4 / grayscale = LZW / color = LZW

    -color management: RGB = off / off = CMYK / grayscale = off

    -conversion: color space: determine automatically / resolution: 300 pixels/inch

    -extraction: exclude the lower images: no limit

    My PDF is searchable (OCR has been applied). I checked the file to see if it has all the layers - this isn't. The file was created with InDesign.

    Basically, once the action performed there are several exported for each page - TIFF files and when I open the TIFFs they are parts of each PDF page. For example, if a single PDF page has three images on it then three TIFFs are exported for each image instead of a TIFF that is identical to the single PDF page. Then, when I try to treat a PDF with 50 pages that I'm left with is a folder with 150 TIFF files (and not 50 TIFF files - a TIFF for each page of the PDF).

    Here is an example of how files are renamed due to export:

      • HD_08_Issue2_E_Page_02_Image_0001.tif
      • HD_08_Issue2_E_Page_02_Image_0002.tif
      • HD_08_Issue2_E_Page_02_Image_0003.tif
      • HD_08_Issue2_E_Page_02_Image_0004.tif
      • HD_08_Issue2_E_Page_02_Image_0005.tif

    I tried to use the action on a PDF file that had not been OCR'ed and I had no such problem. The only thing I can think is that it is the OCR which is the origin of each page of the file PDF to split into multiple images? The majority of the files that I need to convert PDF to TIFF had applied OCR.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

    In a Save command, you can use the export to TIFF in the output Format.

  • Specific PDF page without the dialog box options import

    Hello

    I do the multipage PDF to import programmatically (without the dialog box options).

    Import a PDF page specific to a graphic image of the first step for the solution.

    I use the SDKLayoutHelper::PlaceFileInFrame function but I can't select a specified (for example, page 2) page programmatically

    Thanks in advance

    Károly

    I figured out by SnpPlaceFile.cpp

    ....
    // The solution
      InterfacePtr cmdSetPDFPlacePrefs(CmdUtils::CreateCommand(kSetPDFPlacePrefsCmdBoss));
      InterfacePtr pdfPlacePrefData (cmdSetPDFPlacePrefs, IID_IPDFPLACEPREFS);
      pdfPlacePrefData->SetTransparentBackground(kTrue);
      pdfPlacePrefData->SetPage(2);
      result = CmdUtils::ProcessCommand(cmdSetPDFPlacePrefs);
    //

      UIDRef frameRef = layoutHelper.PlaceFileInFrame(fileChooser.GetIDFile(),
      parentUIDRef,
      boundsInParentCoords,
      uiFlags,
      fileChooser.GetRetainFormat(),
      fileChooser.GetConvertQuotes(),
      fileChooser.GetApplyCJKGrid());

  • How to create a PDF page that displays in Email and contains links to a page in the full PDF.

    Mac CS 5
    I was able to create the PDF page and activate links to pages in the PDF document. But when I test - send two files to myself, the links do not work.

    You cannot control how, or if, the PDF files are presented in an e-mail. They are just incidental. SOME mail readers will find a PDF attachment and view automatically, in a way or another, perhaps as an image of dead rather than a direct PDF. Some will do it only for the single page PDF. Most don't do at all.

    If you want an interactive email with design and links, you can work with HTML.

    Add a jpg file. watermark my images in bridge and also how batch add watermark.

    You can do so in bridge's only option for an inherent watermark via the output Module on a contact in PDF sheet.

    Better try this question in the forum of Photoshop, they might have better answers because you need to create an action in PS to get what you want.

  • PDF Page size

    Hello

    I use Adobe Acrobat Standard XI and conversion of websites in PDF format.  The size of the converted PDF pages seems to be always in 11 "x 8.5", although the PDF printer paper size is set by default to the A4 (11.69 x 8.26 in).  To avoid a distortion of the image, could you please tell how to set the page size automatically convert default on the A4 which is our standard paper size in our region?

    You can specify the size of the page in the Web Page Conversion settings.

    I open two PDFs and moves a page as a thumbnail from one to the other. Export the PDF file with the addes in pdf pages. The page is not here after that I open this file.

    I've used acrobat before and it was possible to combine PDF files into one.

    Open the first PDF file. On the Edit menu, select "insert." Select "Page of the file...". ». Navigate to the second PDF you want to insert.

    Companies can almost certainly view or the other guy, but a pdf file
    should be better for documents. A jpg file is almost never used
    for anything except the photos.
