JRE 8 and Locale.setDefault (), 8 5, Windows 7 java update

Hello

I have a simple question that I can't solve.

I'm working on JavaFX application in which I use DatePicker. This part is not important.

My date picker is date formatting based on my Windows 7 OS regional and language settings (Formats).

Now, this part is relevant:

In an attempt to make my independent regional application and display format of date always as the United States, I used only once this line of code:

Locale.setDefault (Locale.ENGLISH);

Here's the problem:

Now when I remove this line of code "Locale.setDefault (Locale.ENGLISH)" my application is no longer able to get my Windows 7 OS regional regional format and language settings (Formats). Locale information is permanently lost in the JVM. Things are even worse, because my JDBC connection does not work now, and it reports:

java.sql.SQLException: locale not recognized

to oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIoauthenticate.setSessionFields(T4CTTIoauthenticate.java:1006)...

How can I revert to the old behavior of JVM and automatically get my Windows 7 OS locale information regional and language settings (Formats)? Any help?

The application now works only when there is Locale.setDefault (Locale.ENGLISH); line in the code.

Sorry,

My dishes of regional setting in Bosnia, Latin, who beat bouth SQL Developer, and my Oracle JDBC and application. This medicine works now. Thx a lot

    Original title: need help please

Hello everyone and I hope someone can help me.

Necessary to update my java. I deleted all the previous java and tried to download the free java version for Windows 7 @ java.com
It acts like it loads then I get a pop up window telling me that... sun\java\jrel.1.7.0.21\java_sp.dll is corrupt. So I guess that's why it won't recharge and download:(et ici je suis avec AUCUN java sur mon système, et vous savez ce que cela provoque.) 1. do you get any error code or error message?

    2. what type of Internet connection do you use?

    3. have you plugged other external devices that mice?

    4. have you installed a third-party security software on your computer?

As a first step, try to disconnect all external devices other than the keyboard and mouse if you have connected an and check if the update is installed or not.

Manually restart the computer and then try the following and see if it works for you.

    Method 1:

Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter, and check if that helps.

  • Touch screen broken with Windows 8.1 update

Hello, I tried to update Acer laptop inspire my MOM to 8.1 of Windows for some time now without success. The problem is, she has cracked the touchscreen, and this translates into presses randomly on the screen, prevents me from doing anything. This problem is normally non-existent since I disabled the device in Device Manager in Windows 8. However, when you perform an update for Windows 8.1, the device is reactivated and I can't go through the installer due to the incessant screen button. Is it possible to do the update with the disabled drivers, short to dissociate the laptop (that I can eventually do) or a new installation? If I knew where were the exact drivers for it, I couldn't remove them with a live cd.

    Hello Keane,

I suggest you to contact Acer on it and get the screen replaced and then proceed to the Windows 8.1 update.

Automatic updates of Windows installs KB979683, and then in the next update checking, it is listed under "important update available". He repeated every day for three weeks.

Under 'View Update History', he shows again and again KB979683 installation successfully.

Under 'updates installed, he said, "no update is installed on this computer". So I can't download it manually on my desktop, uninstall the update, restart in safe mode and reinstall manually. Also, when I tried to install manually in safe mode without deleting the file, I received the error 0X8007043c.

I tried stopping the windows update service, and then delete all files in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution > DataSstore and C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution > download, then by restarting the service, but it did not help.

There is a good chance that you see the effects of a (including a W32/Alureon rootkit) hijackware infection!

NB: If you had no installed anti-virus application or subscription has expired * when the machine was first infected * and/or your subscription has expired since and/or the machine is not kept fully corrected in Windows Update, don't waste your time with any of the following: Format & reinstall Windows.  A repair install won't help!

    1. see if you can download/run the MSRT tool manually: http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx

NB: Run the FULL scan, not analysis FAST!  You may need to download the MSRT on an uninfected machine and then transfer the MRT. EXE to the infected machine and rename it to SCAN. EXE before running it.

  • Software to insert text in a photo and then take pictures of Windows to copy on an external USB to print at the pharmacy. Thank you

You know a software product to insert text in the photo and then take pictures of Windows and copy on an external USB to print at the pharmacy. Thank you

To achieve this product is Adobe Photoshop http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/family/.  This not only allows you to do, but allows you to manipulate pictures in almost any way you choose above all.

If you are looking for a less expensive solution (although nowhere near as functional), then Microsoft Photo Editor free http://www.brothersoft.com/downloads/microsoft-photo-editor.html will probably do the job for you.  In addition, you can try the free Microsoft Office Picture Manager 2003 to http://www.brothersoft.com/microsoft-office-picture-manager-171868.html.  I suggest that you try the free options to determine if it meets your needs before you spend money on Adobe Photoshop (as good as Photoshop is).

All these programs have the ability to record in a variety of formats - certainly, including that which can be handled by your local drug store (call them to check to determine what types of extensions that they can support and don't forget to use this format when you are working with your photos).

    Good luck and I hope this helps. Lorien - a - MCSE/MCSA/network + / A +.

  • I tried a number of times to upgrade to windows 10. I get c1900101 - 4000D as a mistake. Once, my entire hard drive crashed and I had to reinstall Windows 7.

I tried a number of times to upgrade to windows 10. I get c1900101 - 4000D as a mistake. Once, my entire hard drive crashed and I had to reinstall Windows 7. I am also having a problem installing Adobe Flash player. It is said that API-MS-Win-Core-Registery-l1-1-0.dll is missing but I don't know what it is. Any suggestions?

"Configuration settings" is the final phase and fault codes look like c1900101 x400xx. The most common failure here is 40017, which means we could not start. Since this is the first time start us Windows 10 with all the drivers in place, once again, drivers are usually the cause of the accident. These issues tend to be less transient than the 30018 s, then a second test is less likely to solve the problem. Yet, it never hurts to try.

    Try to upgrade manually:

    Task of pre-required

When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

    then

    then

    • Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
    • Reboot several times, and then try again.
    • Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
    • If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
    • Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
    • If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
    • If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
    • If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
    • If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
    • If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).

If the problem persists, try the upgrade manually, but choose the option to keep personal files only, you will have to reinstall applications.
