  You must go to the location: admin/Users / / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom

  Hold down the CTRL key and click on Lightroom, click on read the information and click the permissions tab.

  Provide the permissions to read and write to your identifier and then close.

  Then reopen Lightroom. You should be able to open Lightroom.

I guess all I have to do is to disable all my Adobe apps, to reinstall Adobe CC and then activate my apps again. This presumption is correct, or is there more to do?

  There is no option to buy the latest versions of the software. Creative cloud is only available as an ongoing subscription.

  However, you can always buy CS6 software if you wish.

  It's probably too late because you have unsealed the package, but as you have relatively minor glitch of the material do not have a DVD player, did you use the (free) Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to determine whether your computer hardware is capable of running Windows 7?

  Are patches of red and blue color?

  If so, you probably have warnings of cutting of light/shadow enabled. Press J to hide them.

  You can also activate their power by clicking on the arrows up left and right of the histogram.

  Salient facts cut medium red, medium blue clipped shadows.

  This could be because of the graphics processor.

  Go to the Lightroom preferences > Performance > uncheck "use the graphics processor.

  Additionally, make sure that the program is updated: keeping up-to-date for Lightroom
