  It is insufficient to just buy Acrobat (not Acrobat Reader). You will need to also download, install and then make sure that your files are open in it.

  Yesterday, I bought and downloaded the Upgrade Version of Lightroom 6 (order number AD018505688).  To complete the installation of the upgrade, I need the serial number for my Lightroom 5.  Unfortunately, I was able to locate only the installation but DVD no box with the serial number on this subject.  Proof of purchase, B & H Photo, for my 5 Lightroom is attached.  Please advise me on how I can proceed with the activation of my Lightroom 6 upgrade.  I think that my proof of purchase must be sufficient to provide you with directions on how to complete the installation of my Lightroom upgrade of version 6.  I'm sure you've had other customers with similar problems. I was chatting with the support of Adobes cat, who recommended to download the two files-dog again, but with the same bad result. Can someone help me?

  (1) right click on the Finder on dock icon and select the option "Go - To Folder."
  (2) you will get a text box, type in below mentioned command and then press 'return '.

  (3) it will open the etc folder, look for file named "hosts" and the same screenshot of office.

  (4) double click on the Hosts file, it will open it with TextEdit.

  Let me know if you see any Adobe related as entries in the Hosts file 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com... etc?
