Karma: Automatic removal of text messages

I am concidering buying Karma and is one of the major factors of dieciding the weather, you can activate the automatic removal of text messages. My current phone requires me to manually delete messages and driving me crazy. What is an option with Karma?

I do not use it, but I see that Karma has a feature that can meet your needs.

Message Center > Options > Setup > Message Setup > Auto cleaning.  The choices are None; older messages in 3 days; 5 days years; 7 days years; Keep 5 waiting; Keep pending 10; Keep 20 msgs; or "Custom".  Custom allows you to set any number between 1 and 99 messages to be saved.

Hope that helps.

Really, I can't get an answer to this anywhere, its so frustrating!

I have Blackberry passport and I run 2 groups of slimming great world where I have thousands of phone numbers in my phone, I'm sending hundreds of texts each week. Lately, my phone is slowing down, sometimes he does not receive messages and it can get stuck when I try to send it it does not send. I have diagnostic self that it's because the months and months of messages are backed up on individual cases of peoples. I passed down my list of text message and deleted messages until August, but some come back! But I don't think that is the problem, when I send group messages for example 1 individual Member will receive all messages in group so continues his list of individual messages for months, so I can remove the Group text I sent but it always stores on the list of Member's own text messaging! So what I want, this is a setting that says 'remove' sent text messages before 4/6 weeks ago so no log messages, everyone can understand this? I can go in a records of individual members and remove previous posts but I have hundreds of members that I couldn't possible every day, so is there a setting on blackberry 10 that says delete automatically after 4-6 weeks, because I tried looking in the settings and can't find it!

    Thank you

I'm sorry, not... which helps me to understand. I suspect that your idea to be able to show that it would be accurate. In any case, I have provided you with everything that exists natively on the device. If that does not meet your needs, your next step is searching for applications 3rd party who could do what you want. Check BBWorld, the Amazon App Store and GLANCE to see if there is something that does what you want.

    Good luck!

    Desktop Manager > backup/restore > advanced.

In the peripheral right hand pane, highlight and click on the database you wish to erase and below to select TRANSPARENT.

Who will clear this database on the device.

Remove your device from the USB and check.

Then, you can restore a database to the restoration done previously.

  • Delete all text messages?

It seems very stupid, but I don't see how to remove all text messages at once on my Treo 500v. When I select TEXT messages I got in my Inbox. I have the option to delete the selected text, or I can go into the Menu. There is no option to delete anything at all in the Menu.

So I can delete individual messages, one at a time, but I have hundreds and taking too long. I want to be able to delete the Inbox all but I can't figure out how.

  • When there is no wifi, my phone automatically send as a text message without having to turn first iMessage every time me?

I have an iPhone 5 s. I don't have a data plan but I text messaging plan.  When I try to send a text message wihout wifi, he just keeps trying to send as iMessage.  Must we automatically send as a text without having to turn first iMessage me?  I can't imagine that you would have to keep turning on iMessage and off whenever you do and don't have wifi.  Help, please?

In theory, as long as you have settings > Messages > Send as SMS enabled, Yes, it should send the message as an SMS when there is no data available. In practice, sometimes it isn't. If you still do not have a data connection, you're usually better just not using iMessage and just going by SMS.

  • Remove the transmission of Messages/Text Message

An old and damaged iPad (I own is more) still appears in settings/Messages/Text Message Forwarding >

It is disabled (the green dot is hidden).

How do I remove it from the list?

The device has been removed from 'My Profile support'

I tried to go to iCloud.com then settings. There was only a single iPad listed (a new one)

    Thank you!

You can try the settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This sets all your back to factory default settings. But that seems to be creating a lot of extra work for you just delete something that isn't really a problem.

  • I want to design an application that reads a text message and automatically responds by updating a database

I'm designing an application that would require me to receive a text message with a user name and a code number which could be compared to some sets of similar codes in the database to find a match. If a match is found, automatic SMS generated code randomly will be sent to the client. The generated password automatically would be also stored in a database as soon as the SMS is sent. The client should then enter the password to authenticate the user ID.

  • Is «Find your iPhone» send automatic text messages, which do not appear on the phone?

I'm on a pre-pay program with my iPhone 5.  Recently, I discovered that the balance of my phone has been reduced, even if I did not use my phone at this time.  My local carrier has since informed my that my iPhone has sent international text messages (which I don't see on my phone), and it is because of "Antitheft" is enabled in the settings on my phone that I need to turn it off.

    (1) I can't find anything called anti-theft on my phone - anything like this exist?

    (2) I am working on the assumption that maybe my carrier meant the "find my iPhone" and not anti-theft.  But "Find my iPhone" send SMS to a number, without any notification to me?

1 n ° find that my iPhone is probably what they were referring.

2 No., SMS Messages are sent to England for activation of iMessage, which you will not be charged if you use your phone with a carrier iPhone supported.

  • Why can't send a text message

For some reason, that my phone cannot send a text message but it can receive calls and texts and calls. What should I do I have updated my PRL and profiles of school boards also, I reset the phone several times. Anyone wlse have this problem?

The PRL is manually updated on the 4G phones. It is updated automatically.

My first suggestion would be to try starting in safe mode to see if you can send a text. I think you need to remove the possibility that a 3rd party app causing a problem. When you did test then please post your results and we continue to solve the problem from there. I hope this helps.

  • Delete multiple text Messages?

Search here and elsewhere but do not find an answer to my question. On previous Motorola phones, I could delete multiple text messages in just long-pressing the specific text message in a thread... then tapping each additional I wanted to delete... and then selecting delete. This way I could whittle down some long threads.

However, since I got my Verizon Moto X, it seems that the only way to remove any message text is either one-at-a-time, or all of the text don't thread at once... no more the ability to choose several text messages in a thread to delete several at once? I forgot something, or a simple feature common sense has been removed?

My question is not focus on deleting a thread complete or using the default value for a maximum number of messages to be automatically deleted (i.e. the maximum of 500). Its more specific to trimming/weeding out text messages in a thread in the messaging app.

  • A bug in the timestamp of text messaging

Hello. I would like to report a little bug in iOS 10 and below, in text messaging. When I send a sms and conversation contains more than one message, if I delete the last conversation and leave the rest of it canceled, the timestamp of the message I deleted is shown as the timestamp of the message in the main menu of the e-mail, while the original message has been deleted. I mean, when you delete a message, the timestamp of the previous message should appear as the timestamp of the message in the main menu, not the one's who no longer exists. For example, when I delete the last message (with 09:04 timestamp), if the timestamp of the message remaining (12:41 am) should logically be included in the main screen, but 09:04 is always displayed in the main menu.

    ---------------------

Here is the screenshot of the problem:

The timestamp of the last message is 09:04. -> > >

    -----------------

Below, I've removed the last message (which was the time stamp 09:04), so that the last post time is 12:41 am logically. -> > >

    ---------

But, in the main menu, the previous time is always displayed as the timestamp of the message-> > >

    ------------------

I think that the time stamp in the main menu should show you the last message that you CURRENTLY HAVE in your conversation, not one that has been deleted and no longer exists.

09:04 belongs to the message that I deleted.

The timestamp should be turned into 12:41.

    -------------------

    Hellllllloooooooo!

  • Text Message Forwarding lack of Mac OS and iOS 10

Am I missing something? I'm not able to find the text Message Forwarding since I updated my iPhone to iOS 10.0.1 6 and my MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, end 2013) for MacOS Sierra 10.12.

This is a feature that has been removed with iOS 10 and Sierra of MacOS? This is a feature that worked before when I was on iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan.

Now when I'm in my settings of the iPhone 6 > Messages, there is no option of text Message transmission.

And 15 minutes later with to do anything, text Message Forwarding is back as an option in my settings iOS 10 for iMessages now... ODD
