Keeper password blackBerry Z10

I have a Z10 who, over the last 2 weeks, I tried to make it work. They even sent me another phone that I tried to install my backup, but I still get questions with impossible to send texts, used address book full charge, the battery will drain in 2 hours with the phone just sitting there. I think there is a problem with my backup, and the only thing I care to save it on my phone is the password keeper. Is it possible to just back upward and on the phone after you have reset to its default value of load?

Here's what I'd do. to do this, the unit must be on Mac OS 10.2 or higher. Can you check the version for me in circles > on? What version of the OS?

Once this is done, if your owner password data on the phone now, connect to BBWorld and make sure you're on the latest version of PK. It must be 10.2.0.44. If this is not the case, the update.

Once you have this laid open version PK and slide down and go into the settings. Click on export passwords and save the file on your map of media (not the memory of the device.) If you don't have a memory card and have only access to the memory of the device that you want to transfer this file to your computer or save it somewhere so that you can come back after a reset.

Once you get your passwords exported to a file, do a cleaning of security on the device and start fresh. You can then return to PK and import back in passwords.

Failed to add a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account to my Z10. Since then, the device requires a password to unlock. Under Settings/Security and privacy/device password, it says "political COMPUTER requires password device to be together.", and the on / off toggle is grayed out.

I want to disable the device password. There is no Exchange account for me to remove the device because adding that he had failed.

    Hello mitcheubanks,

Sorry to hear that you have a problem with the removal of the password.

To clarify, under settings > accounts there is no account balance?

If you drag to the bottom of the top of the window (where you see the settings, Bluetooth, Wi - Fi etc.), you see a Briefcase icon or the icon of the balance? If Yes, are you able to tap into? You see the icon of deletion?

  • Keeper password blackBerry Smartphones missing after upgrade to version 6.0 bundle 3049

    Hello

    .

I had a problem with my BB Torch, in which the camera starts up.  On the advice of the support of the people, I was able to start it in safe mode.  However, he lacked the App World - and so I couldn't update any application, or install a new one.

    .

I took a backup and updated the software for the device and restored all the data.  Now, the App World is here, but the password keeper is missing.

    .

According to the other instructions in the forum, I tried to restore it in the Desktop Manager, but it does not show such an option for password keeper.  Please help - I need to use the password keeper.

    .

    THX!

    Install both, this order please:

    1. First install the desktop software, but do not run it yet (it could offer at the end of installation)
    2. Then install the downloaded BB OS package of Bell (which kind of changes the Desktop software to make it specific to your BB)
    3. Now run the Desktop software and connect your BB to the USB cable when prompted. If she does not invite (he cannot, depending on certain factors), then just connect at any time after the Software Desktop is running.
    4. Now, open the Applications section of the Desktop software and, if all goes well, the first elements will be as I mentioned and password keeper will now be in the list, you can install

  • BlackBerry Z10 can I create a Blackberry ID using the same email address, but with a different password?

I use 2 phones and I am ready to create a new blackberry on the 2nd ID, but it requires an email address and I don't have that one email address that I use for everything. I want to know if it is possible to create a new BBID with the same e-mail address but different password. The main thing is I want both phones to be active and fully functional, but I don't have a single address email and I prefer not to create another email address, because I love all of my emails in one place rather then having 2 email addresses. I don't want any phone be disabled. I do not fear one of the BBM is turned off, as long as at least one works. Both phones are a Blackberry Curve 9320 and a Blackberry z10, which is one waiting to be activated.

No this is not possible, the e-mail address you used your BBID, is associated with the device that you use it on. It is also the BBID username. And cannot be used on another device, no matter that there is a different password.

I suggest that you create a new e-mail account, just for the sole purpose of using it as a BBID.

  • Change of password blackBerry Email Z10. Z10 connects to my server after changing to the new password. 100% sure that password is correct.

I have two pop3 email accounts Setup on my Blackberry Z10.  They work very well for more than a year.  These email accounts are also configured on my personal laptop.  For security reasons, I changed the password on one of the e-mail accounts.  I knew that this meant that I would then change the password on my laptop and my blackberry.  I edited my email account to mobile with the new password and it worked fine.  But when I edited my e-mail account on my Blackberry, it will not connect to my e-mail with the new password server.  First, he says 'save and check your settings' for a while, then I get a message "the server for your account does not (my server info).  Please check your settings and try again".   I know I typed in the new password correctly.  This is the same as the one I typed in my laptop which worked and I even clicked on the little "EYE" icon in the field password on the blackberry, so I could see what I was typing.  My other e-mail account on the blackberry works very well (I haven't changed the password on this subject) I do not understand why the Blackberry does not recognize my new email password. It should have been a simple change.

To change the password of e-mail on the blackberry, I chose the SETTINGS, then ACCOUNTS, then I took the e-mail account, that I wanted to change.

BTW: I work in it then feel free to put it on me

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should translate a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait while the display of the message of a "successful record.

    2) restart

    • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. IF this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts.

Also try the tool of Validation of Email to ensure that the server settings have not changed:

If the wizard fails, sometimes using the advanced settings, recording everything manually, can work.

It's a shame to your mail server remains on the old pop... IMAP and EAS are much more useful IMHO. Well.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Z10 Z10 file access password

By connecting the Z10, or just about any Blackberry to the computer, that he will ask for a password. In my opinion, it gives maximum 5 attempts.

I was wondering, if anyone gets this wrong password 5 X, did it wipe the phone as it is 10 X wrong because as with the connection to the phone?

    Hey Jerryg50,

After 5 password attempts, a prompt appears on BlackBerry link 'before you continue, enter your password on your device before you try to connect to the BlackBerry link', then you must type the word "blackberry" on the Z10 BlackBerry and enter your password. "." You have a total of 10 attempts on BlackBerry 5 link and 5 on the BlackBerry Z10.

    Hey abualroob,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

We are aware of this problem and the current workaround is to use a SMTP server requires authentication user name and password.  You can get this information from your Internet service provider's SMTP server.

Once you have the info, go to settings > accounts and click the e-mail account.  Scroll down the page until you find the user name of the SMTP server.  Placer place in the information requested and the SMTP server, and then tap Save.

Test it by sending a new email message.

  • BlackBerry Z10 tries to remove newly BBID Z10 configuration and use an existing BBID

Hi, I recently bought a new Blackberry Z10 camera. I started setting up. I wanted to create a Blackberry user ID if I entered an email address that I use frequently. I got an error message stating that the e-mail address is already in use. I thought that I never used a Blackberry ID/product/service forward. I couldn't understand why this email address was used, then after you have re-entered it a few times I decided to try using another email address that I use as often. I put the BBID using another email address, however I have not confirmed it yet. A few hours later, I realized why Blackberry gave me an error message on the first email address, I tried to use. On two or three years I created BBM on my Iphone with a Blackberry ID for text messaging. I used a couple of times and didn't use it thereafter. The next day I went in my email account to see the email confirmation for the BBID I put in place a few days ago. Rather than confirm the BBID, I saw an option: If you did not create or do not recognize this account, remove this BlackBerry ID. Which is what I did. I deleted it. Because I didn't use this BBID. Then I tried to connect the Z10 with the BBID, I created three years ago (before logon on the phone I have to reset my password on the site Web of Blackberry). I could not log in with the old BBID, I created while all the information is correct (I can log on to the Web from Blackberry site, see my profile and settings). The phone tell me the username and password is wrong when I click on the button check that it is just for the opening session with my information screen. The problem is that the phone keeps the profile settings and e-mail address since when I put in place a few days ago and I can't get rid of it, because it is associated with the phone. I read on the forum somewhere, that, in order to get rid of a BBID who is on the phone, I would need to do a reset and community support of Blackberry. Not sure if this is true. The issue is when I try to do that, I have to enter the password that I deleted so I'm stuck BBID. Don't know what to do. I'm all new to Blackberry and would appreciate any support you could give me to solve this issue.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Indeed, this information is true. The only way to remove the association between a device and a BBID must WIPE the device. But... you've discovered...

    Mioprincipe wrote:

This means that the device must execute the last branch 10.3.2.xxxx of the operating system, which includes the anti-theft function required by the Government, which requires that before a device is deleted, the anti-theft function BBProtect be first to be defeated before the wipe. Without this step, after the wipe, the same BBID is required (to prevent a thief using the device at all).

Here is some useful information (all the "official" BB staff):

If you purchased your appliance from ShopBlackBerry, Amazon (U.S. / UK) or the Porsche Design Store, please communicate with BlackBerry using the details on our page contact us.

If you bought your device with a wireless service provider, or a retail store in person, or online, please contact them for assistance.

    When you contact your point of sale, please have the following prepared;

DO NOT PUBLISH THIS INFORMATION IN THESE FORUMS

    -Your BlackBerry ID
-Proof of purchase such as a reception
-A copy of your wireless bill that shows your phone #.
-A copy of your ID issued by the Government

  • Reloading the blackBerry Z10 Z10 software stuck on logo Blackberry, continuous restart loop, did not help...

    Hello

Here to find the solution for my beloved BlackBerry Z10 STL100-3

One day, precisely 26 May 2016 my Z10 battery Blackberry went below 5% or something, I rushed to connect it to the charger but before doing so; It is just off. I plugged in the charger for several hours, but it went to reboot mode as he went to the course passed. It just kept flashing empty battery symbol.

Problem: BlackBerry Z30 stuck in a reboot loop

    Comments/Details:

    1. when it is connected to the wall charger, the red LED flashes for a few seconds, the display shows "BlackBerry" name. After that,.

    a. device either goes to a restart mode, the icon reload Blackberry OS, the charging progress are shown and about 60-70% progresses he new go to the mode (flashing empty charging symbol) load

    b. or device is standing right in the mode, load with screen showing beteer empty, load, seeing to the top flashes still with the typical color of LED for empty-drained/low battery levels.

    2. keep on charging for several hours, or even overnight will not help to restart. And he remains in charge mode with b symptoms of "scenario". Start button / stop fails to start the machine and after several attempts, it flashes only 'Blackberry' on screen and again charge mode.

    3. as soon as the connection to BlackBerry device link gets detected for a few seconds. And the screen displays the name of "Blackberry", "scenario one" described above occurs. And he just repeats.

    4. that the device is detected for a few seconds, being fast enough to select the option "Reload" when Blackberry link shows that it connected returns with the message "software update has encountered an error.

After meeting thiis reboot loops question on 26 May 2016, I searched rigorously blackbery support forums and other web pages a di a factory reset/software reload on my device. I lost all my data, but did not care as I wanted my Z10 back to life.

Now its been 2-3 months I see my Z10 stuck in restart loop and hoping that maybe it lights up or I will be able to find the solution.

    Kindly help.

    Hi J Sanders,

Z10 was connected to the wall charger and all the tips/advice you mentioned have been tried. He could not start device.

Before trying the ADF, to check if battery is dead or defective; I kept it in my brother Z10. The battery was load and after a while, he turn the unit on its own.

However, the pile of work of Z10 my brother could not initialize my camera. I guessed corrupted software connection or the battery could be a problem.

I carefully observed battery connection ports, specifically the part that establishes the conncetion of metal tabs of the battery with the unit (given in the image http://www.gsmzone.co.uk/Blackberry-8900-Z10-Battery-Connector).

I found one of the metal connector stuck / out partially / fits loosely / spring-movement irregulars / and is not able to communicate perfectly with the metal strips of the battery.

I tried to solve this problem by manually removing the metal connector. After several test, I managed to do it.

I put my battery in my Z10, he acknowledged, and red LED flashed, name BlackBerry flashed, Blakberry OS Reload icon flashed-has increased 100%, Blackberry 10 name flashed and Z10 began. Device came to operational status.

Current operating system version is 10.3.2.2836.

No SIM or media inserted in it.

Charge the unit and check if all functions work fine.

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Z10 Z10 restarts at least than the charger

I got my BlackBerry Z10 since 11/05/2013 and a week there, it restarts randomly and now anytime he's not on the wall charger, it seeks constantly to restart, but it never ends or if on the off chance that it does, it remains not on more than 20 seconds and it restarts again.  I just really don't want to get a new phone, but am at a loss here and really can't keep the phone on a wall charger all the time.  Any suggestions on what to do?  (In addition, this phone has never saved to a computer, not for want of trying.)

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must be directly connected to a charger checked (not PC USB, not a docking station):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs. If but it does not help, then please try again increase the stage 4 time to 2 hours and possibly longer than 4-5 hours waiting.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. Carefully note please that 'new' and 'know' are not necessarily the same things. Although rare, a 'new' battery could certainly be defective. On the contrary, the easiest (and cheapest, btw) method to perform this test is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... trade in batteries and see what happens.

Good luck and let us know!
