Keeps a window to open in full screen?

I turned off this "feature" that clings to the window in full screen when I drag and the

cursor has touched the top margin, but now I see that open full-screen windows.

Is it out of spite?

What is - this with this obsession to be full screen?  People use no more than one at a time?
My thought is much more complex than that.

I do not know... It works very well for me, even with Excel. I guess that the malware scan and reboot.

Any window that you want to resize all the time must be the last closed window.

Open an e-mail message and enter the corners of the window and drag it to the format full screen. Do not use to expand. Close all other windows first via the taskbar and the latter. Windows will remember the size of the last closed window the next time that you open the program.

I tried to slide the corner of maximum size... does not work in Windows 7. .. .at work wonderfully under XP

I tried a right click, then properties... but nothing is editable in there because it shows only a GENERAL tab.

Please don't tell me that Windows 7 remembers the setting because it doesn't... I know it should... but it doesn't.

    Hello

    1. you try to open the links of a Web page, e-mail or documents?
    2. what web browser do you use?
    3. you try to open a shortcut in the Explorer?

By dragging the corner of the window should the maximum size of the window. If it doesn't, then it seems that the browser is corrupted. Try double-clicking on the top of the window to enlarge the window.

If you are using Internet Explorer, follow these steps:

    a. open Internet Explorer and click on a link that opens in a new window of a second.
    b. close the first window, leaving your window open.
    c. drag the new window to what size you want. .
    d. you can drag windows by placing the mouse cursor on the edges of the window, click button straight on and then dragging.
Note: If dragging the window does not help, you can double-click on the top of the window to maximize.
    now, close the new window.
    f. reopen Internet Explorer and check by opening other links as well.

  • Firefox does not open in full screen on the task bar and I have to go over it to see the web page.

Firefox does not open in full screen on the task bar and I have to go over it to see the web page.

Firefox window is sometimes "off screen" somehow. Often, you can force it to appear on the screen by right clicking on the thumbnail image just above the taskbar and choose expand. Does it work?

A possible cause for this is that the file that stores the positions and sizes of window is corrupt. You can delete this file and Firefox will return to standard window resizing.

#1 method: If you can get a zoomed window:

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • (menu bar) File > Exit

Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename xulstore.json to something like xulstore.old. If you see a file named localstore.rdf, rename this to localstore.old.

Launch Firefox back up again. Windows normally appear again?

#2 method: If you can not get a Firefox window for all:

Close Firefox by right clicking the icon in the taskbar > close all windows.

Using the Run dialog box (windows key + R) or the start search bar menu type or paste the following and press Enter to drill down to the profiles folder:

    %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Here you can see a folder - in this case, double-click that - or more than one case - in this case, double-click on in what looks like the most recently updated.

Scroll down and rename xulstore.json to something like xulstore.old. If you see a file named localstore.rdf, rename this to localstore.old.

Launch Firefox back up again. Windows normally appear again?

Then, to re - light bars, you can use one of the following methods to view the list of the toolbar, and then select the desired bars it:

To activate the menu bar, toolbar bookmarks or other bars, click it in the list.

    Hello!!!

    1. Windows 8 comes up with a different interface two one is the version of classic office who use us for most & second start screen (Interface Metro) version
    2. If you want to use Skype (freely resized version) you can use Skype client for desktop computer rather than use the splash screen that is displayed full screen with no options Minimize & Close.
    3. Applications of screen Windows 8 start cannot be reduced to a minimum, as we do on desktop
  • Firefox opens in full screen and I can't do anything at all except Ctrl-alt-delete and closing of Firefox!

Hello. I made a stupid mistake and installed an add-on or extension (do not know which) that I was hoping would allow me to display YouTube videos in full screen. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the add-on/extension.

The problem is, now everytime I open Firefox, it opens in the mode "full screen" and ANYTHING (including F11) will allow me to access the taskbar, the address bar or an other controls Firefox. I can nothing at all, but display the homepage fullscreen! The only option I have is to hit CTRL-alt-del and close Firefox.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox and this does not solve the problem. Help, please. Thank you!

P.S. I write this in Internet Explorer as I can't currently use Firefox.

Try to rename (or delete) the file xulstore.json in the Firefox profile folder.

You can check if you can start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the shift/Options key.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
  • Why large images will not open in full screen on first click?

I'll open an image (jpg, png) that has a size in bytes of 2000 x 3096. What ends up happening, is that it is initially open a window full screen, and after a second or two, this window full screen will be reduced to a window screen. Now, I have to click on the maximum window size button in the upper right to expand the window to full size, click with the right button on the image, select Image seen on the menu drop down and then finally click on the image so that it can display in its original size.

Y at - it a plug-in or a config. setting I can use, so that the image opens in the mode full screen from the beginning?

Is it with a link to the opening image of a web page or to view pictures that you have already stored on the computer?

You can check the problems caused by a corrupt localstore.rdf file.

  • Windows are extended in full screen

I am running windows 7 Professional with two monitors.  This problem occurs ONLY in the main screen.  When I take the title bar of an internet Explorer or program window and move it OR keep to left click it for more than a few seconds, the program window runs in full screen.  However, it is not maximized.     If I try to resize it to a small window, the only way I can keep it from developing into full screen is to hold the CTRL key and even that does not work all the time.   I know when he's going to develop a mode full screen, because the perimeter of the #1 monitor lights up RED alert me that he will develop...   If I take a window on the #2 screen, the border to the #1 monitor turns BLUE, but since the program window is on the screen 2, nothing happens here.  (Thank God!)

I explored the component feature snap and it does not appear that it is the same thing because you can't move the window back to its original position.

I made so that the option is disabled "to prevent windows from being arranged automatically when you move it to the edge of the screen" in the "ease of access" option of the Control Panel, but I have not been able to find another option anywhere else to cure this.   I seem to be other problems with the operation of computers I've noticed.      The constant uncontrollable expansion of the program or window IE mode full-screen is very frustrating!   This happens with all programs.

    Help, please...

  • My computer jumps out of the window active and videos full screen, (youtube/movies on computer)

My problem is that whenever I'm not moving my mouse, my window random active jumps

EX: the top on my active windows bar is black, then all of a sudden it wobbles a bit, and all of a sudden his gray, almost it has been disabled as long as the active window. Another example is, if I have Mozilla and spotify open, if you have spotify as active window, the screen jumps and suddenly, spotify is "behind" the mozilla window.

and as far as movies go, I is not serious if his youtube or movies on my computer I can go full-screen in normal mode, he jumps out of it.

so my question is how can I fix it, I've already updated everything so there is nothing wrong with my cards

I thought about it, I suspect me that 1 of my desktop gadgets was perhaps to blame, I had 3 gadgets. Notepad, weather, and a cpu monitor. so I took the time and CPU monitor and now the jumping has stopped for now. I thought I would respond with this answer in case anyone else has this problem so that you can ask them if they have gadgets active which changes every few seconds as my CPU meter does help.
