KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR?
My wife bought a computer laptop just now. It was something to download a few days and stop or did something before it was over. At least that's what she thinks happened, she's not really sure. His computer running Windows XP Home Edition, do not know what is the worm or construction. I tried 'normal startup' (sometimes works after his stop for awhile), "safe mode" (doesn't), suggested mfgrs (press F2, F10, Ctrl + Alt + Delete, etc., "we CHARGE is 25 million dollars at the end of fifteen minutes to fix" thing) and I don't know there are a few I forgot. In any case. I get the infamous "Blue Screen of Death ' which has this message"KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR ". Close and restart at this point, the screen is black with the cursor in the upper left corner. I ' ve could access the BIOS and change some things here (as suggested by the mfgr site) but still have not been able to solve the problem. " You are supposed to be able to create a "recovery disc" which can recover/repair OEM sftwr/drivers as I suggested (well, unfortunately that not happened). So, I don't know if it's an OEM or issue windows. I also discovered that it could be a problem of bad hdwr. The mfgr said that the hard drive has a partition where the recovery sftwr is stored, I can not figrue how to access and use. I hope that anyone has any other ideas, could ensure him appreciate the help.
Rhamnar86It,
If you can boot into Safe Mode with command prompt, or if you have a XP CD and you can boot into the Recovery Console, and then run the following commands.
sfc/scannow (you will need an XP CD for this command)
If you are not able to enter the Mode safe mode with command prompt, then you may need to use the recovery from the PC partition and see what recovery options are available. You will need to contact Sony support for assistance to the use of the recovery partition.

Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error error blue screen
Original title: recently, our PC had blue screen errors
We have tried to update the BIOS, but we always get the Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error. What else can we try?
Hello
1. are you able to boot to the desktop?
2. when exactly you get this blue screen error?
When you encounter a Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) in Windows, the computer saves information about the error message in a log file. This log file or minidump file is saved in the subdirectory of Windows Minidump (C:\Windows\MiniDump). Generally the information stored in the minidump file can help identify the cause of the blue screen error message and help you solve the problem.
For more information on the reading of the memory dump files, see the following article:
How read partial memory dump files that Windows creates for debugging
Resolution:
Error code KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP: 0x0000007A indicates that the data page of the kernel of the required paging file could not be read into memory. It seems that there are some problems with the hard drive.
Use the check disk command for all errors on the hard drive.
Warning: We recommend not to interrupt the CHKDSK process. Microsoft does not guarantee the integrity of the disk if the CHKDSK program is interrupted. Security, you can back up your data before using check disk drive.
Use the drive control as follows:
(a) click Start.
(b) in the search box type 'cmd' and ENTER. Right click and select "Run as Administrator".
(c) type at the prompt in the command CHKDSK/p and press ENTER to scan the drive.
(d) then type CHKDSK C: /F /R and press ENTER to repair corrupt sectors, if there are.
NOTE: The root drive must be C: and drive can schedule a task to start the system, if this is the case, press on is to schedule a task, and then restart the computer to run chkdsk.
When chkdsk is finished, boot up to the desktop, and then check. You can check the link below for more details - mentioned

KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR message
Recently I was away for two weeks and my system was closed all the time. My system was working fine when I left. No software or hardware has been added. Nothing has changed. When I came back, I started getting the following message with a BSOD: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP: 0x0000007A (0xC0000185, 0 x 80572092, 0xC0402B90, 0x18F08860). I have unplugged everything except the monitor, keyboard and mouse, but the problem remains. No idea how to solve this problem?
Not without more information. Well... no good ideas.
Your system is a Compaq Presario V4440 or is it a gateway FX6803?
Are you running XP Professional SP2?
is your antivirus/antimalware currently Norton or McAfee?
Here are some ideas of an engineer of Microsoft Support previously marked as 'response' - see how these things work for you:
Step A.
Check to see if the problem exists in Safe Mode, if the computer works as expected in mode without failure, then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state.See the article below for the procedure safe mode in Windows XP

Original title: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR
Well a few weeks earlier, soon as I bought this new computer, I started to meet the BSOD with KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR. I am running Windows 7 on a laptop Asus G60JX. Not long after the first time it happened, I looked at the problem and ran a disk check to find only my computer would start is more upward. I decided to reformat my computer and everything worked well again for about 2 weeks and now it is happening again. My computer starts well but every once in a while the mouse will stop working and it will go to the BSOD and say something on the dumping of physical memory. When I start my computer upward, it says this area solution, or whatever.

You said Details of the bugcheck 0x7a - KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR - "this bug check indicates that the data page of the kernel of the required paging file cannot be read in memory." It is usually an indication of a failing drive. Error code was met was "0xC000009D or STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED, indicates defective wiring or loose, termination or that the controller does not see the hard drive."
However, you can check "you receive various Stop in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2 error messages when you try to resume a computer that has a large hard drive SATA" and see if the fix applies to you.

I had this problem with my computer, running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit, for several months now, where it will show the blue screen of death shows the error message above. It will be at random times, it seems to just freeze and sit there for a few minutes and then display the error message. I tried chkdsk, System Restore, defragment the HARD disk, running analysis antivirus/antispyware, security scans, check the registry errors, have all the updates and everything I can think of nothing. I saved some of the previous error messages that he brang upward in the same way if they can help with what either.

Cause
Frequently, you can determine the cause of the error status (parameter 2) KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR bug check. Some common status codes are:
- 0xC000009A or STATUS_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES, indicates a lack of non-paged pool resources.
- 0xC000009C or STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR, generally indicates bad blocks (sectors) on the hard disk.
- 0xC000009D or STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED, indicates defective or loose wiring, termination or that the controller does not see the hard drive.
- 0xC000016A or STATUS_DISK_OPERATION_FAILED, indicates bad blocks (sectors) on the hard disk.
- 0xC0000185 or STATUS_IO_DEVICE_ERROR, indicates improper termination or defective cabling devices SCSI or two trying to use the same IRQ.
These status codes are common ones that have specific causes. For more information about other possible status codes that can be returned, see the Ntstatus.h file in the operating system Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).
Another common cause of this error message is the defective material or failing RAM.
A virus infection can also cause this bug check.
Solve the problem
Solve a problem of bad block: Generally, a status I/O of 0xC000009C or 0xC000016A code indicates that the data can not be read from the disk due to a bad block (sector). If you can restart the computer after the error, Autochk runs automatically and tries to map the bad sector so that it is more used.
If Autochk does not scan the hard disk for errors, you can manually start the disk scanner. Run Chkdsk /f /r on the system partition. You must restart the computer before the start of the analysis of disk. If you cannot start the computer due to the error, use the Recovery Console and run Chkdsk/r.
Warning If your system partition is formatted with the FAT file system the long file names that use the Windows operating system could be damaged if you use Scandisk or another MS-DOS-based disk tool to verify the integrity of your hard disk from MS-DOS. Always use the version of Chkdsk that matches your version of Windows.
Solve a defective hardware problem: If the State of e / is C0000185 and the paging file is on a SCSI disk, check the cabling and SCSI termination for problems.
Solve a problem RAM failure: Run the hardware diagnostics feeding by the system manufacturer, especially the memory scanner. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
Check that all the cards in the computer are well calibrated. Use an ink eraser or electrical contact treatment, available in electronic supply stores, to ensure the adapter card contacts are clean.
Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device that is causing the error. You can also disable caching memory BIOS to try to resolve this error.
Make sure that the latest Windows Service Pack is installed.
If the previous steps do not resolve the error, take the system motherboard to a repair for the diagnostic facility. A crack, a scratched trace, or a defective component on the motherboard can cause this error.
Solve an infection by the virus: Search your computer for viruses using any update, commercial software that examines the Master Boot Record of the disk hard antivirus. All systems of Windows files can be infected by viruses.

Blue screen 64-bit Vista - 0x7a-KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR
original title: 64-bit Vista of death blue screen
I started to have blue screen errors. I received a couple but 4 different ones. One I have and I got different eras has been STOP: 0x000000F4 and that's all that I've got ACE for this one at a time. He began by the freezing of my office and remained frozen for a few minutes until it gave me the blue screen. I restarted went without failure then normal mode and it kept working for quite some time.
Then he kept the freeze again. Then he gave me
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR memory options disable BIOS such as implementing caching or shading. 0x0000007A (0xFFFFFFFFC0000056, 0 x 0000000086509860, 0xFFFFF6FD30009778, 0xFFFFFA60012EF244)
So I rebooted again and there once again in safe mode and back to normal.
So I kept trying to see if my PC kept working. Because I didn't have from time to time to post how I continued to use it as he continued to work. Then it froze again and gave me
STOP: c000021a {fatal system error} the initial session of the system or process ended unexpectedly with status 0x00000000 (0xC0000056, 0 x 00100500) the system has been turned off.
So this time he send me to the Startup Repair and after trying to find a solution for a while, he couldn't fix and tried to allow me to restore but restore was not successful and gave me.
StartRep.exe - Application Error
The statement to the 0x7779b49e referenced memory at 0xff7f2f78. Required data has not been placed in memory because of an error of e/s of 0xc0000185 status. CLICK ON OK TO TERMINATE THE PROGRAM.
So I keep on going and finally at some point it allows to restore only to give me another simialar to a previous error.
STOP: 0X0000007A (0XFFFFFFFFC0000056, 0X000000002425E860, 0XFFFFF6FD30019408, 0XFFFFFA60032810EC)
Oh Yes (EDIT) at some point during one of the Security Modes it froze and let nothing happen. Just thought I would add in it.
Sorry it's a little long but any help or info would be appreciated. I clean my registry and it kept my computer goes about a week before this last error. Does not do anything for it since. The only thing I could think that I installed because it started happening was Norton Internet Security 2011 but at the time I don't think it was a big deal, so do not know how long after or before there was that I installed and started having some bluescreens.
All my drivers are up to date for.
A little info extra snacks on the PC.
OS 64 bit Vista Home premium

Hello
can someone please help me because I have a deadline Coming up and need of my laptop works properly!
I have windows 7 64 bit running on an HP ProBook 6550 b. My PC works fine for about an hour, after an hour, the screen freezes for 10 seconds and then I get the KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR. It reboots and then I get the message "Non-system disk or disk error."
So I just shut down my PC and pitch up and everything works perfectly fine again for about 45 minutes. Then the same problem again.
I tried several things. I run a chkdsk /f /r it find some issues. I tried and followed some knowledge how to change the paging file settings. I ran a memtest. No error with the memtest.
Finally, I went into the BIOS and I did a test drive HP. It has almost immediately, but I can just close the BIOS and boot my PC and windows works fine.
What can I do to fix this other then buying a new hard drive. (I intend to buy a new laptop anyway in a few months after that I spent my time and trial period is over. "(Mais à court terme j'ai vraiment besoin cela fonctionne)."
Thank you very much!!
Johan
Just in case someone else encounters this.
The problem was due to my hard drive SSD M4. There was a problem with the firmware causing crashes time after that the disk has been used for several hours then +-5200. The firmware upgrade fixed it for me.

The code of error BSOD 0x0000007a: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR.
Original title: 30 + hours of chkdsk on a hard disk of 1 TB and no indication of progress
Have an ASUS PC (care not available at this time). Home work to discover has recovered from a blue screen crash. The code indicates anything a Windows software for a chip failure problem RAM or motherboard.
Decided to check the disc with recovery of bad sectors option. It has been approximately 30hrs and all I have is a blinking on-screen cursor: no indication of text on what is happening or what stage it is during the process. It's an old PC with a 1 TB hard drive. Don't know mghz speed but the processor is powerful enough to play in the COD, Skyrim and other games.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Hello
Sorry for the late reply.
According to the newspapers of file dump, error code KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP: 0x0000007A indicates that the data page of the kernel of the required paging file could not be read into memory. It seems that there are some problems with the hard drive.
If the problem persists, try the methods provided in the link below:

KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR then CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION
I rarely post on a Web site because I can generally understand the answer, but this one really got me. I had 2 BSOD. The KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR on 10/04/13 then the CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION 04 12, 13. Yesterday, I got both of them 10 minutes apart.
It is a brand new system installed at the beginning of February, which has had a hard drive failure, so I bought a new drive and installed Win 7 3/20/13. Any help is greatly appreciated!

---------I know that it is basically a year later, but I understood the problem and that you wanted to post a reply. As part of my solution to prevent other disk hard breaks down ruining the system I've set up a mirror of RAID hard drive. I proceeded to install windows and the RAID broke immediately. After several attempts to rebuild the RAID and reproduce the problem, at one point one of the hard drives started clicking. I was seriously confused, but concluded that the only possible cause for such ridiculous behavior could be the power supply. Keep in mind, I swapped the SATA cables and used different SATA power connectors.
After replacing the power supply the problem has not happened since.

Hello
When you encounter a Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) in Windows, the computer saves information about the error message in a log file. This log file or minidump file is saved in the subdirectory of Windows Minidump (C:\Windows\MiniDump). Generally the information stored in the minidump file can help identify the cause of the blue screen error message and help you solve the problem.
For more information on the reading of the memory dump files, see the following article:
How read partial memory dump files that Windows creates for debugging
See use SkyDrive to upload collected files and post screen shot/image
http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7itproui/thread/4fc10639-02dB-4665-993a-08d865088d65We usually get the error code KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP: 0x0000007A if the data page of the kernel of the required paging file could not be read into memory. It seems that there are some problems with the hard drive.
Error code KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP: 0x0000007A indicates that the data page of the kernel of the required paging file could not be read into memory. It seems that there are some problems with the hard drive.
Use check disk command to all the errors on the hard disk:
Use the drive control as follows:
un) Click start.
( b) in the search window type 'cmd' and ENTRY. Right-click and select 'Run as administrator'.
c) Type on the command line and press ENTER to scan the driveCHKDSK/p .
d) then typeCHKDSK C: /F /Rand press ENTER to repair corrupt sectors if there is.
NOTE:
The root of the drive should be C: and drive can schedule a task to start the system, if this is the case, press on is to schedule a task, and then restart the computer to run chkdsk.
When chkdsk is finished, boot up to the desktop, and then check. You can check the link below for more details - mentioned

Control Panel device - graphics card configuration-manager - note the brand and complete model of your graphics driver - double-click - tab - write version information. Now, click the driver update (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.
Repeat for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers you have.
Now go to the website of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration), then site of the manufacturer of the device (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Review of the BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system while there).
Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.
Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.
Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check

Help, please! KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR restart blue screen
Hello
I've known the KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR blue screen which causes reboot at random times when I use my computer. I tried a number of options and have been in contact with a number of Microsoft employees to try to solve this problem, but so far nothing has worked. Here is a list of whathas was made up here, but all to no success. These actions are without particular chronological order:
Ran CHKDSK /R in command prompt
CHKDSK ran sfc and dism in command prompt
A ran CHKDSK/X/r/f in the Safe Mode command prompt
A ran CHKDSK /F /R in Safe Mode command prompt
Analyses with HitmanPro, ESET, Norton and Malwarebytes
A run MSDT while with the Microsoft Staff
Update various drivers
Convenience of Ran with Microsoft staff
Finally, I performed the update on my PC, but little time action after I did, I had projected again blue.
My OS was 8.1, now demoted to 8 since I refreshed.
I'm ready to remove and reinstall windows as a last resort if nothing else can be done, if that would solve the question. I appreciate the help that can be given.
Kind regards
Josh
