key codes

upgrade to laptop from 7 to 10 months and want to go back. Code illegible key so used software to extract the key code. Question - is the key code for the same as the original 7 10 upgrade? I have a 7 installation disk but wonder about the key code that I extracted may have changed when I upgraded to 10? Hope that makes sense.

To try another * 3 post Belarc will find a key. Each installation has a product ID, regardless of where it originated. This key is decrypted activation key and consists of at least two elements, a version code (including its channel) and a block of 'individual '. Every second section must be different if based on a label or in code box, but each manufacturer uses the same key for the factory systems has built their individual blocks are all the same. For example, Windows 7 Professional on a Dell computer has the ending - key 733WD and a product ID ending-00524, everybody the same. But it is for HP, - 6P6GT and-00008

I (and many others) have keys manufacturer, only used to check the validity of the licenses, because otherwise know them are worthless. Will not work using an even if the disk installation based on correct hardware. They require no authentication while as disk installs must be authenticated. Microsoft servers do not expect these keys for authentication and will reject them.

Windows 10 has a product ID, so it has a built-in key (as does same disk based Windows 7) to complete the installation without entering a key (the ' space' so that it can not be empty). After completing the installation, it will try during verification of the line to see if digital authentication for material recorded which is a new feature for Windows 10. If this isn't the case, then, it reports that a key is required within the time limit. Knowing that the key is again without value, introducing the key does not bypass the need for authentication
