  If you imported images in the wrong place, you can move the images in Lightroom. Reference: file move around in Lightroom | Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC tutorials

  However, if everything is so messed up then you can simply create a new catalog and import the images correctly, and start editing.

  Possibly, you have made changes to your 'by default develop settings'. The default WB in Lightroom should be "under the shot" to view this selection has recently imported a file raw in the develop Module, click history in the left panel, click on the first import. (see screen capture) and then see what settings have been applied to import for the white balance it must be 'in the know '.

  I have videos in a folder on a HARD drive. Headers (details) I have at the top of this file are the details contained in each file properties/summary (single). All the boxes after the details in the summary are white and I would like to fill them with information. everything I type in these boxes appear in the folder under the good except the 'Keywords' column header. The view that I use for the folder is "details", I'm using windows XP with the latest service pack. It does not matter as I type in numbers or in letters and it's the same with any type of file, with what I try this. How can I get the key words I type appears in the keywords column.

  Hello.  I have a laptop G6 and when I turn it on I get a red exclaimation mark on the icon support assistant and when a hover above him with cursor, it says 'important necessary action.   Thank you for having responded with the necessary information. I would like you to uninstall, and then reinstall the HP Support Assistant software by following the steps I have described below:

  Step 1. Open programs and features by clicking on the button start

  Step 2. Click on Control Panel

  Step 3. Click on programs

  Step 4. Click on programs and features
  Step 5. Select HP Support Assistant

  Step 6. Click on uninstall

  Step 7. Restart your computer

  Step 8. Download and install the latest version of HP Support Assistant

  How can I find the missing collections?  How will I know where LR stores its backup?

  I have two drives on my system - C drive, semiconductor, contains only the software.  Drive E, regular, holds only data, including all my photos.  I don't have pictures in my pictures, but in their own special folder.  The two are backed up on an external drive every day

  Concerned as I can I have lost backup LR on the old C drive which wiped.

  I did it!  I did everything by myself, with a little help of Julianne Kost!  Thank you, Julianne.  You're really a wonder woman.  No thank you 57 people who read this post on the forum.  But if one person reads this and it saves some time, then this time will have been worthwhile.

  My main computer crashed and Windows must be reinstalled as new factory condition which means that allll software should be reinstalled.  Good news, it of that I had saved important files off my old C drive and had a doc with all my product inside keys.  I have re-installed LR, but first, he could not see one of the photos.  Yesterday I got this task performed using an order catalog import, but I must have chosen the wrong catalog.  Today, I watched the tutorial of Julianne on Lightroom backups and found that indeed there is a path where LR tells you where is stored the magic catalogue and I got it in my old folder.  I looked under C/Windows.old/Users/Carol/MyPictures/Lightroom and there is - a file called Lightroom Catalog.lrcat.  Went to import another catalogue and chose this one and waited very long.  Finally, all my collections arose, all the flags, the rankings, the kinds, presets, etc are here.  It's magic.

  Either you apply a develop preset on import, in order to check the section "apply when importing" from the import dialog box.

  In otherwise, then take one of the images B & W develop, hold down the SHIFT key and down right Reset button change on "Reset (Adobe). Click on it and the image back to the color which means that you have changed the default develop settings inadvertently. To restore these settings, go to the menu develop > set default settings > click on "restore Adobe Default Settings." Who's going to fix things for future imports, but for those that already exist, you will need to reset them manually, if you synchronize that change to all the.

  If the file has the help of keywords (and it will not default keywords, you must tell LR to put key words), then you can force Lightroom to read via metadata-> reading metadata from files. But if the keywords are not there, then re - import photos in LR5 and read sidecar files don't get you where you want to go.

  Still, it would be easier (and transfer more data, the data that are never written in the sidecar files) upgrade the catalog because I said.

  I do not understand why the Photos shows the name of the file twice.   These fields are not labelled, but I was under the impression that the top line was the Description, the second line is the name of the file, and the third line is the Date.   Because only the first line is displayed under thumbnails, I try to have as much descriptive information appear in this area (as in the past, we could do with iPhoto or Aperture).

  In other words, when I run the script I hold my keywords to replace everything in the top line completely, eliminating the name of the file. Is there something wrong with this approach?  I would still have the name of the file to the second line, right?

  Remove the file name of the title field, and then run the script. You will have the chance
