Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I have a problem with your keyboard after updating is not what you expect. Could possibly be interfering with the entry Wacom drivers.

Start safe mode and see if there are still have the problem there. Safe mode is slow and some things do not work, but it prevents some third-party boot loading software. If your keyboard works properly in Mode without fail, this would imply that some third-party software is causing the problem. If so, check the updates.

It also takes more time to start because the BONE is clean some system caches that can also help.

  • Some keyboard keys do not work on my Satellite L300D

    Hello

I have the Satellite L300D-242, keyboard key 6-7-R-H-B left and right arrow not working not not on Win 7 32 Bit OS. his job very well if I try the keyboard external usb.
My question is if I buy the new keyboard problem will be fix or it's something to do with the motherboard?

    Thank you

    Hello

If everything is ok with the external keyboard, it seems that a few keys on the internal keyboard are faulty. I agree with Timox and swap the keyboard internal which is very cheap and can be done in 10 minutes.

Do you know where you can order spare parts?
You can do this if you contact an authorized service provider. You can find a list of the guys here:

  • Some keyboard keys do not work occasionally, some require hard urgent

Sometimes my keys work well, as now. Other times, without having to reboot, some keys like R, Y, 5, 0, do not work when I press them. Sometimes if I press the R key and Y or press them hard, with more force, the R and the Y will appear. Other times, repeatedly tap the R and the is still not get as they appear.

This problem has occurred, it seems, shortly after I disassembled my laptop. What could cause this problem? I think that maybe it's one of the wiring connectors that connect the keyboard to the main unit and not a problem with the individual keys. Should I restart my computer, disassemble the keyboard and attach, internal and 3 cables, it would affect?

What should I try to fix this? Its very annoying having to use the on-screen keyboard to type the keys Y and R when they cease to work temporarily on the keyboard.

It is not easy to give you the correct answer to your question.
Initially we don t know what model of laptop you have and how old it was.
In my opinion the keyboard connector has nothing to do if some keys must be desperate.

To be honest, I think that you need a new keyboard.
Only by using the new keyboard and test features, you will find answer to your question.

  • Some keyboard keys do not work correctly on the Satellite P200-144

    Hello

I have a problem with my P200-144, when I type very fast missing keystorkes, this does'nt be as other keyoards.
Also, my arrow is very steep.

For me this is nothing strange. I have older Tecra M1 and the buttons are flabby. The new A200 (similar keyboard like the P200) it is not the case. The pressure must be stronger than on Tecra and if I type very quickly some keys are missing.

Maybe you must type a little more slowly.

  • HP 14 Chromebook product # F0H08UA keyboard keys digital 1 to 4 and 7 to 0 do not work

HP 14 Chromebook product # F0H08UA keyboard not working keys numbered 1 to 4 and 7 to 0. Awkward layout that I use some of these numbers for my password. Problem started on 15-07-14. Has worked as intended in the AM but now do not register this PM. The method of entry on the screen works but not the keyboard! All other keyboard keys seem to work as expected. No error message and no recent changes to this 14 Chromebook. This could be the cause of this problem?

Chromebook is sent to HP for repair. The unit was still under warranty. HP has replaced what they call the "top Assembly' 743681-001 part number. I guess that is the plastic piece, the keyboard is surrounded and the keyboard itself. My 'Top House' OE still had stickers attached when I bought the Chromebook. The replaced "top Assembly had no stickers.

The repair process was painless for me other than being without my Chromebook for about a week. HP sent a box with pre-paid shipping by Fedex. Since the repair my Chromebook worked well.

I restarted but also tried to plug into each USB port. (I don't think that the keyboard is broken, as I tested it)

    Hi, Bay boy.

    Please visit Apple support communities.

I understand that your wireless keyboard does not work.  Here are a few articles that I would go through for troubleshooting this problem.

Your keyboard has one or more of the keys that are not

Use the keyboard Viewer to check if the keys on the keyboard respond correctly when they are pressed.

    1. Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu, and then select language & text.
    2. Select Input Sources.
    3. Check the keyboard Viewer & characters.
    4. Activate the input source for the keyboard layout that you test by selecting the checkbox next to it.
    5. Make sure that "Show the menu in the menu bar" is enabled.
    6. Choose Show Keyboard Viewer in the menu in the menu bar.
    7. The viewer of keyboard showing the keyboard layout is displayed on your screen.
    8. Tap the key on the keyboard that is not answer and see if the corresponding key highlights on the keyboard Viewer. If so, this key works fine.

    Notes:

    • If mouse keys in the universal system preferences pane is activated, a lot of keys on the keyboard do respond as expected.
    • If the problem persists, try to run to the top of your Mac in single user mode see if a software problem is causing the problem.

I've updated HP Elitebook 8560p of Windows7 (64-bit) for Windows 10. The upgrade process was successful. Later, I noticed, Wifi and 3 G-internal modem does not work. Sametime, I noticed, that old HP Connection Manager has been uninstalled (or lost?).

The problem is basically this: Wifi - and connections 3G internal modem does not work. I noticed, that wifi-button has "orange" color and the button does not work? I can't change the Wifi status parameters at the level of the OS of Off to On. That's why assume that the wifi module is on "off"-"State. I found the driver SP7107 (driver Wifi for Windows 10 button) package and I tried to install it. The installion failed because InstallDriver_64, location failed. (In Finnish language. I'm very confused and I don't know really, what is the first cause of the wifi - 3 g-modem internal questions and. I guess, this wifi button is not about root work.

Can someone clarify why there are not more HP Connection Manager on Windows 10 and I tried to install, but install cancelled due to bad BONES. How can I manage wifi - and States of modem 3g without it?

  • Keyboard ergonomic Sculpt from Microsoft does not

    Dear community,

I have the Sculpt duo ergonomic keyboard & mouse Microsoft, but I have a problem only with the keyboard.

1.) does not recognize the keyboard: shift + c

I use the caps lock button to make a big 'C '.

The two shift keys do not work with the c key

(2.) by typing in Microsoft Word (Microsoft Professional Plus 2013), I'll start typing a phrase and all of a sudden it will copy what I write in the following line. Here is an example:

This is an example of what is going on DiagnosThis of care nursing is an example of what happens on the nursing diagnoses

So I started typing and when I went to type the word "Diagnostics", Word automatically copied the sentence and stuck where my current typing was.  I hope this makes sense.

It seems that I turned on some sort of shortcut with SHIFT c and now he's doing the thing copy instead, but I have no idea how I did this or how disable it.

    Things I've tried:

    -restart the computer

-have disconnected and reconnected the USB receiver

-turn the computer off, by disconnecting and reconnecting the USB receiver, turn on the computer

    -uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers

    -multiple restarts again

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit operating system.

  • Airplane mode turns off (continuous WiFi turn on)

    I have this problem.

I can not activate airplane mode because after a few seconds it shuts itself.
I noticed that this is caused by Wifi. Every time I have disable Wifi (or activate airplane mode) comes on again after several seconds causing Airplane mode is turned off. Although bluetooth remains off.
Does anyone know any solution for this?
The computer is DELL XPS 12.

Some computers have the ability to enable flight WIFI mode. You must use the help file on your computer to know how to turn off wireless. Dell computer mostly for example using the function keys with a turn on that radio icon.

  • WiFi turns off and then don't come back

I have a new (30 days) Macbook Air, but suffers more and more the following problem: for reasons I can not determine, the Wifi turns off. When I try to turn it back on, it will not go back. The only way to let him back on is to restart the Mac. Sometimes, when I reboot, it takes a long time to restart, sometimes not. But once it restarts, Wifi is back.

    Thoughts?

Wi - Fi is really turning itself off?

If this is the case the icon Wi - Fi in your Mac's menu bar looks like this
